It uses two pairs of flip-flop tones. The first pair of tone is to send omni-directionally to reach every neighboring node to announce the start and the end of communication, and therefore to alleviate the deafness problem. The second pair of tone is to send directionally towards the sender. It is used to solve the hidden temlinal problem as well as the exposed terminal problem. Evaluation shows that FFT-DMAC can achieve better performance compared to the 802.11 and ToneDMAC protocol.展开更多

The views on the First War are portrayed by a plurality of voices, most of which are women's, and they allow readers to think of the war experience in a more subjective but also more plural way. In this novel, voices from both sides of the First War resonate, i.e., the hegemonic side of the war--the Allies--is compared and contrasted to the subjectivity of the voices of the "others"--the Axis, although they do not necessarily work in harmony. Such innovation in point of view has, in great part, contributed to converging story and history, allowing this literary work to partake in the production of historical knowledge and cultural memory of the War.展开更多

In this study, a kind of intelligent garment coordination and try-on system for fashion retailing was proposed. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology was used to identify customer and garment item automatically. The intelligent procedure for garment coordination recommendation using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was developed to imitate fashion designers' decision-making on garment coordination. Virtual try-on algorithm based on the customer's 2D/mago was accomplished using imagewarping technique. The system architecture and the software framework were also described. The results show that the 'system is a practical and useful application for fashion retailers.展开更多

Drawing from Orthogonal Modulation Theory in communications, the model introduced two concepts, orthogonal data hiding features and data hiding vectors, to covert Vo IP communications. By taking into account the variation characteristics of Vo IP audio streams in the time domain, a hiding vector negotiation mechanism was suggested to achieve dynamic self-adaptive steganography in media streams. Experimental results on Vo IP steganography show that the proposed steganographic method effectively depicted the spatial and temporal characteristics of Vo IP audio streams, and enhanced robustness against detection of steganalysis tools, thereby improving the security of covert Vo IP communications.展开更多

The two QSDC protocols are constructed from four-qubit DF states which consist of two logical qubits. The receiver simply performs two Bell state measurements (rather than four-qubit joint measurements) to obtain the secret message. The protocols have qubit efficiency twice that of the other corresponding fault tolerant QSDC protocols. Furthermore, the proposed protocols are free from Trojan horse attacks.展开更多
