Firstly, the initial weighted directional diagram is set up. Secondly, the algorithm based on the dynamic pheromone updating ensures the quick convergence and the optimal solution, thus improving the feasibility and the stability of the schedule system. Aiming at reducing collaboration with external partners, decreasing the total cost and balancing the production process, the algorithm is efficient in supporting the management process of the manufacturing cell and in strengthening the information arrangement capabitity of the scheduling system. Finally, experimental results of the improved algorithm are compared with those of other algorithms.展开更多

This stage of post-mining, pre-utilization beneficiation uses low-cost separation technologies to remove unwanted mineral matter and moisture which hinder the value of the coal product. Coal preparation plants typically employ several parallel circuits of cleaning and dewatering operations, with each circuit designed to optimally treat a specific size range of coal. Recent innovations in coal preparation have increased the efficiency and capac- ity of individual unit operations while reinforcing the standard parallel cleaning approach. This article, which describes the historical influences and state-of-the-art design for the various coal preparation unit operations, is organized to distinguish between coarse/intermediate coal cleaning and fine/ultrafine coal cleaning. Size reduction, screening, classification, cleaning, dewatering, waste disposal unit operations are particularly highlighted, with a special focus on the LI.S. design philosophy. Notable differences between the U.S. and international operations are described as appropriate.展开更多

The conventional capacitorless DRAM cell with single charge generating effect is either high speed or low power, while the proposed DG-FinFET (double-gate fin field effect transistor) cell employs the efficient integration of impact ionization and GIDL effects by coupling the front and back gates with optimal body doping profile and proper bias conditions, yielding high speed low power performance. The simulation results demonstrate ideal characteristics in both cell operations and power consumption. Low power consumption is achieved by using GIDL current at 0. luA when the coupling between the front and back gates restrains the impact ionization current in the first phase. The write operation of the cell is within Ins attributed to significant current of the impact ionization effect in the second phase. By shortening second phase, power consumption could be further decreased. The ratio of read "1" and read "0" current is more than 9.38E5. Moreover, the cell has great retention characteristics.展开更多

The proposed DCMS model considers several manufacturing attributes such as multi period production planning, dynamic system reconfiguration, duplicate machines, machine capacity, the available time for workers, worker assignments, and machine procurement. The objective is to minimize total costs; consisting of holding cost, outsourcing cost, inter-cell material handling cost, maintenance and overhead cost, machine relocation cost. While a study of published articles in the area of Cellular Manufacturing Systems (CMS) shows that workforce management issues have not sufficiently been addressed in the literature, the model presented also incorporates CMS workforce management issues such as salaries, hiring and firing costs of workers in addition to the manufacturing attributes. In-depth discussions on the results for two numerical examples are presented to illustrate applications of the proposed model. The model developed aims to raise the envelope by expanding and improving several CMS models previously presented in the literature.展开更多
