Some properties of monotone set functions defined by Choquet integral

In this paper, some properties of the monotone set function defined by theChoquet integral are discussed. It is shown that several important structural characteristics of theoriginal set function, such as weak null-additivity, strong order continuity, property (s) andpseudomelric generating property, etc., are preserved by the new set function. It is also shown thatC-integrability assumption is inevitable for the preservations of strong order continuous andpseudometric generating property.

MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY OF HEAT AND COOL

The popularization of large scale central air conditioning system (CACS) has brought forward a new pro blem,i.e. how to measure the cooling and heating quantum accurately. This problem will directly affect the qua lity of modern property management. So the study on the technology of measuring heat and cool is very necessary. In this paper, the detailed thermal analysis and the mathematical model of relative parameters that affect the measurement of heat and cool are discussed. A sample instrument based on the model is made, After the trial use by several customers, the device is proved to be practical, worthwhile and of good capacity.

Heavy metal distribution patterns and environmental quality assessment of the mariculture areas in Nanao,Shantou

The Fe, Zn, Mn and Pb concentrations in the seawater dissolved phase were investigated in the sea-surface microlayer （SML）, subsurface water （SSW） and bottom water （BW） samples collected at of three mariculture areas of the Nanao Island ocean zone. The results showed that the SML and the BW were important compartments for these heavy metals in the mariculture areas and the concentrations varied from 23.0 μg/L to 268.0 μg/L（Fe）, 11.0 μg/L to 82.2 μg/L（Zn）, 1.5 μg/L to 11.0 μg/L（Mn） and 6.0 μg/L to 40.5 μg/L（Pb） in SSW, while a clear enrichment is observed in the SML, where these ranged from 27.5 μg/L to 286.5 μg/L（Fe）, 13.5/lg/L to 89.0μg/L（Zn）, 3.0μg/L to 12.0 μg/L（Mn） and 7.0 μg/L to 46.0μg/L（Pb）. The enrichment factors were in the range of 1.07 - 1.39 which showed a slight enrichment. The average enrichment factors of Fe, Zn, Pb and Mn were 1.18, 1.13, 1.12 and 1.30, respectively. The average enrichment factors in shellfish, fish and gracilaria lemaneaformis farming areas were 1.26, 1.19 and 1.11, respectively, which showed that the surface activity was highest in the shellfish farming area. Furthermore, the heavy metals concentrations were lowest in the gracUaria lemaneaformis farming area. The results of single factor contamination index showed that the investigated areas were slightly contaminated with Zn, while the partial farming areas were seriously contaminated with Pd during a certain period of time.

On the Total Domination Number of Graphs with Minimum Degree at Least Three

Let G be a simple graph with no isolated vertices. A set S of vertices of G is a total dominating set if every vertex of G is adjacent to some vertex in S . The total domination number of G , denoted by γ t (G) , is the minimum cardinality of a total dominating set of G . It is shown that if G is a graph of order n with minimum degree at least 3, then γ t (G)≤n/2 . Thus a conjecture of Favaron, Henning, Mynhart and Puech is settled in the affirmative.

A Laser Ranging System Using Chaotic Light

A novel laser ranging system using chaotic laser as probe light source is designed and presented.The system is made up of five components:chaotic light source,transmitter,receiver,data acquisition unit and data processing unit.Chaotic light is generated by an 808 nm,500 mW,single-mode laser diode with optical feedback cavity.Single target detection and multi-target detection are experimentally realized by correlating the chaotic reference light and the reflected or backscattered probe light.The performances,including the resolution of 18 cm within at least 130 m range and the sensitivity of-20 dB,are achieved and analyzed.

Informative Property of the Data Set in a Single-input Single-output (SISO) Closed-loop System with a Switching Controller

Closed-loop identification is important and necessary to various model-based advanced process control strategies, whose performance depends greatly on the informative property of the data set. Switching control is an important method in process control. Therefore, this paper studies the informative property of a data set in a single-input single-output (SISO) closed-loop system with a switching controller. It is proved that this data set is informative if the controller switches among at least two modes (i.e., feedback laws). Our result does not require any assumption on the way of switch and removes the constraints on the switching manner required in some classical literature. Finally, simulation case studies based on a continuous stirred-tank reactor (CSTR) process are given to validate the results.

Strains Recorded Using a Seismometer Data Acquisition Unit

A seismometer data acquisition unit has been used in the Changping seismic station to record the output of a strainmeter. The output of a strainmeter was sampled at a rate of l00/sec by seismometer acquisition from the original rate of 1 per minute. Plenty of high frequency sampled data was recorded. The minute value curve calculated from the seismometer acquisition are consistent with that of the original data sampled by the strain acquisition system. More complete waveforms were recorded with a higher sampling rate, and seismic phase parameters calculated by using higher sampling rate strain seismic waves are also in consistency with the results of its predecessors. Spectra of the strain seismic waves are compared with that of seismic waves recorded by a seismometer in the Shisanling seismic station, and their trends are almost the same. Besides, some lower frequency components still exist in strain seismic waves.

Design of ADCS for Efficient Meter Data Collection and Management

ADCS （automated data collection system） is the element of MDMS （meter data management system） and a module in charge of collecting the data from DCUs （data collection units） or meters in AMI （advanced metering infrastructure）-based interactive two-way communications infrastructure. In this study, ADCS＇s functions for K-AMI （Korean Advanced Metering Infrastructure） were analyzed and the logical design of ADCS which is suitable for the requirements was suggested. A massive data collection and management functions was defined as very important functions of ADCS to meet optimal data processing mechanism. ADCS was designed for support about the fuctions of data collection and transfer, large capacity data processing, interactive services, parallel processing, etc.. Also, ADCS has roles of protocols exchange and gateway for service support in addition to data collection in AMI environment.

Simulating Deposition of Aerosol Particles on Single Fiber Surface

The stochastic simulation method, based on the concept of control window and the numerical solution of the Langevin equation, is applied to solve the deposition problem of particles from the flowing suspensions onto a fiber collector. Using the Kuwabara model to characterize the flow field, the effects of Stokes number, interception parameter, packing density, particle size distribution on the collection efficioncy, and the deposition morphology of particles onto a collector are i examined. The morphology of deposit obtained in the simulated results agrees Well with experimental observations. The estimation of the initial coUection efficiency through the simulations considers that the deposited particles are in good agreement with published experimental data. In addition, the collection efficiency of particles increases in a wider particle size distribution region.

NSGA Ⅱ based multi-objective homing trajectory planning of parafoil system

Homing trajectory planning is a core task of autonomous homing of parafoil system.This work analyzes and establishes a simplified kinematic mathematical model,and regards the homing trajectory planning problem as a kind of multi-objective optimization problem.Being different from traditional ways of transforming the multi-objective optimization into a single objective optimization by weighting factors,this work applies an improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ(NSGA Ⅱ) to solve it directly by means of optimizing multi-objective functions simultaneously.In the improved NSGA Ⅱ,the chaos initialization and a crowding distance based population trimming method were introduced to overcome the prematurity of population,the penalty function was used in handling constraints,and the optimal solution was selected according to the method of fuzzy set theory.Simulation results of three different schemes designed according to various practical engineering requirements show that the improved NSGA Ⅱ can effectively obtain the Pareto optimal solution set under different weighting with outstanding convergence and stability,and provide a new train of thoughts to design homing trajectory of parafoil system.

Strata-pressure behavior of double-unit mining method combining fully-mechanized and mechanized coal face

Based on the engineering background of double-unit face mining under complicated geological conditions and the lagging fully-mechanized face surpassing the fore mechanized face of double-unit face in Zhou Yuanshan coal mine, strata-pressure behavior in the process was analyzed based on FLAC3D and on-site measurement. The results show that the stress concentration factor of superposition abutment pressure and the alternate distance of double-unit face are meeting gauss function, the relationship between the depth of stress concentration point and alternate distance also meets gaussian function. When the alternate distance is larger than 24 m, the superimposition of pilot support pressure in the double-unit face is weak. When the alternate distance is more than 12-15 m, the changes of the roof subsidence coefficient and the depth of stress con- centration point are stabilized; when the alternate distance is 3-6 m, the fore working face end is in the greatest impact area of superposition abutment pressure, this area should be avoided in determining the reasonable alternate distance.

Tetravalent edge-transitive graphs of order p^2q

A graph is called edge-transitive if its full automorphism group acts transitively on its edge set.In this paper,by using classification of finite simple groups,we classify tetravalent edge-transitive graphs of order p2q with p,q distinct odd primes.The result generalizes certain previous results.In particular,it shows that such graphs are normal Cayley graphs with only a few exceptions of small orders.

GEOMETRY AND DIMENSION OF SELF-SIMILAR SET

The authors show that the self-similar set for a finite family of contractive similitudes (similarities, i.e., |fi(x) - fi(y)| = αi|x - y|, x,y ∈ RN, where 0 < αi < 1) is uniformly perfect except the case that it is a singleton. As a corollary, it is proved that this self-similar set has positive Hausdorff dimension provided that it is not a singleton. And a lower bound of the upper box dimension of the uniformly perfect sets is given. Meanwhile the uniformly perfect set with Hausdorff measure zero in its Hausdorff dimension is given.

On Univalence of the Power Deformation z（f（z）/z）c

The authors mainly concern the set Uf of c E C such that the power deformation z（f-（z）/z）c is univalent in the unit disk ｜z｜〈 1 for a given analytic univalent function f（z） = z ＋ a2z2 ＋ ... in the unit disk. It is shown that Uf is a compact, polynomially convex subset of the complex plane C unless f is the identity function. In particular, the interior of Uf is simply connected. This fact enables us to apply various versions of the X-lemma for the holomorphic family z（f（z）/z）c of injections parametrized over the interior of Uf. The necessary or sufficient conditions for Uf to contain 0 or 1 as an interior point are also given.

A new method of rapid quality detection of vacuum insulation panels

A new method of measuring gas pressure in vacuum insulation panels(VIPs)is reported in this study,which provides a fast and efficient quality control option of production.Although there are different methods of measuring gas pressure for VIPs,connecting an internal measurement gauge to external data acquisition units is problematic.The thin high barrier film covering the panel’s core usually prevents external electrical wires or mechanical devices being connected to the inside of the VIPs.To solve this problem,a micro capacitive pressure sensor with 0 to 250 Pa detection range is developed to detect the vacuum pressure.The sensor has high linearity and a sensitivity of 10 mV/Pa.Moreover,through the communication mode study,an ultrasound communications system for VIPs is designed.It shows from operation that this system is stable and reliable,and quick for communication speed.This new method enables the quality detection of VIPs to be completed within 1 second.The minimum detectable pressure of VIPs is below 1 Pa,and the measurement error can be controlled around 5%.

And double-cyclic graphs with Hosoya indices among the doublecyclic graphs with n vertices.
