In the light of the archaeological material from Yinjiacheng site of Sichui County, Shandon Province, this paper assumes that the prehistoric pottery gui vessel had blood relations with the Shang bronze ila vessel and thus the pre-Shang culture should have been from the Dongyi people and the tower Nanguanwai Phase Culture should have been the remains of the Shang people who came from the Dongyi and invaded the Xia territory. It is believed that the Lower Nanguanwai Phase Culure was the dividing line between the Xia and Sheng Cultures.展开更多
