Exploitation technology of pressure relief coalbed methane in vertical surface wells is a new method for exploration of gas and coalbed methane exploitation in mining areas with high concentrations of gas, where tecto...Exploitation technology of pressure relief coalbed methane in vertical surface wells is a new method for exploration of gas and coalbed methane exploitation in mining areas with high concentrations of gas, where tectonic coal developed. Studies on vertical surface well technology in the Huainan Coal Mining area play a role in demonstration in the use of clean, new energy resources, preventing and reducing coal mine gas accidents and protecting the environment. Based on the practice of gas drainage engineering of pressure relief coalbed methane in vertical surface wells and combined with relative geological and exploration en- gineering theories, the design principles of design and structure of wells of pressure relief coalbed methane in vertical surface wells are studied. The effects of extraction and their causes are discussed and the impact of geological conditions on gas production of the vertical surface wells are analyzed. The results indicate that in mining areas with high concentrations of gas, where tectonic coal developed, a success rate of pressure relief coalbed methane in surface vertical well is high and single well production usually great. But deformation due to coal exploitation could damage boreholes and cause breaks in the connection between aquifers and bore-holes, which could induce a decrease, even a complete halt in gas production of a single well. The design of well site location and wellbore configuration are the key for technology. The development of the geological conditions for coalbed methane have a significant effect on gas production of coalbed methane wells.展开更多

Many observations show that in the Yellow Sea internal tidal waves (ITWs) possess the remarkable characteristics of internal Kelvin wave, and in the South Yellow Sea (SYS) the nonlinear evolution of internal tidal wav...Many observations show that in the Yellow Sea internal tidal waves (ITWs) possess the remarkable characteristics of internal Kelvin wave, and in the South Yellow Sea (SYS) the nonlinear evolution of internal tidal waves is one of the mechanisms producing internal solitary waves (ISWs), which is different from the generation mechanism in the case where the semidiurnal tidal current flows over topographic drops. In this paper, the model of internal Kelvin wave with continuous stratification is given, and an elementary numerical study of nonlinear evolution of ITWs is made for the SYS, using the generalized KdV model (GKdV model for short) for a continuous stratified ocean, in which the different effects of background barotropic ebb and flood currents are considered. Moreover, the parameterization of vertical turbulent mixing caused by ITWs and ISWs in the SYS is studied, using a parameterization scheme which was applied to numerical experiments on the breaking of ISWs by Vlasenko and Hutter in 2002. It is found that the vertical turbulent mixing caused by internal waves is very strong within the upper layer with depth less than about 30m, and the vertical turbulent mixing caused by ISWs is stronger than that by ITWs.展开更多

In order to investigate its population was observed in the Southern Yellow Sea in May and recruitment and environmental adaptation, temporal variation of abundance, diel vertical migration (DVM) and length frequency distribution of both aggregate and solitary forms were studied with samples collected from eight months during September 2006 to August 2007. S. fusiformis presented in six months other than September and October 2006, and average abundance of aggregate and solitary forms peaked in June and May, respectively. In December, aggregate forms were absent in the bottom layer and performed irregular DVM from surface to 50 m depth, while solitary forms was too scarce to perform diel vertical distribution analysis. Both aggregate and solitary forms presented reverse DVM in May and June. They migrated upwards during daytime and concentrated in surface layer at sunset. The bimodal distribution of aggregate forms was found in April and the average size was largest in this month. In other months, the smaller aggregate forms (1-5 ram) dominated in populations except for May, when the modal size ranged from 2 to 8 mm. The average size of solitary forms was largest in December, followed by April. The skewed nomal distribution of solitary forms was found in May and June, with the modal size of 2-7 mm and 5-13 ram, respectively.展开更多

After Vietnam's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), a large amoun...Foreign direct investment (FDI) has taken an important role in Vietnam's development process since the launch of Renovation in 1986. After Vietnam's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), a large amount of FDI capital flowed into the country, up to 143,950.3 million USD. Wherein, there was a switching of FDI capital from the manufacturing sector to the service one in tandem with a downward trend in the agriculture. Like the previous duration, Vietnam's FDI capital sources came mostly from Asia-Pacific region and European economies (net capital, technology exporters) probably caused by Vietnam's integration emphases on dynamic Asia-Pacific region. Geographical location of FDI was characterized by a concentration on the three main key economic regions: the Red River Delta (surrounding Ha Noi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh), the Central region (surrounding Da Nang), and the Southeast of the country (surrounding Ho Chi Minh City) owing to good infrastructure, abundance of skillful labor force, and large market size. By constructing a gravity model, using descriptive, quantitative methods and applying them to recent data set by Vietnam's authorities and the international organizations during the period from 1995 to 2011 of 18 Vietnam's major country partners, the author finds evidence broadly consistent with the prediction that the WTO has had a positive impact on FDI flows to Vietnam.展开更多

The results demonstrate that the water was significantly fresher in the 1980s than in the 1960s, indicating that vertical mixing at intermediate water depth was reduced in the 1980s. This was partially because of the change of the SCS meridional overturning circulation (MOC) connecting local intermediate water with deep water. Data assimilation showed a 0.5Sv (1 Sv=10 6m 3/s) reduction in the strength of the MOC, which is about one third of the mean SCS MOC. Because the SCS MOC is linked to the Pacific Ocean, such an interdecadal variation in the intermediate water SCS may reflect anthropogenic climate change in the world ocean.展开更多

METHODS We retrospectively investigated the patients with col...OBJECTIVE To study the clinicopathologic characteristics, changes in the nature and incidence of colorectal polyps in the Nanchang area, Jiangxi, Province. METHODS We retrospectively investigated the patients with colorectal polyps who were diagnosed by colonoscopy and pathology in our hospital from 1990 to 2004. The analysis involved the incidence, average patient age, polyp location and pathological types. We recorded the changes of the polyp clinicopathologic features by comparing the clinicopathologic types of colorectal polyps over fi ve-year periods. RESULTS Of the 21,853 patients who received a colonoscopy, 2,889(13.2%) were diagnosed with colorectal polyps. Their average age was 46.6±16.5 years, with a male to female ratio of 1.8:1. The males were older than females (47.1±17.5 vs. 45.5±14.5, P<0.05). Location of the polyps: 41% in the rectum, 27.7% in the sigmoid colon, 35.8% in the left side verus 23.1% in the right side (P<0.05). Patients with polyps located in the transverse and ascending colon were older than those with polyps in the rectum and sigmoid colon (P<0.05). Adenomatous polyps comprised the most common type (67%) and the rectum was the most common site for each type, especially juvenile and retention polyps. Juvenile polyps were found in the youngest patients(12±4.8, P<0.05) and the adenomatous in the oldest (52±14, P<0.05). The ratio of patients with polyposis comprised 1.2%, and patients with polyps accompanied with colorectal cancer comprised 6.1%. Examination of the changes in the incidence, the average patient age, and adenomatous type showed that they had all increased, but the frequency of infl ammatory and retention polyps decreased. CONCLUSION Colorectal polyps are a common problem. The frequency is greater in males compared to females and the rectum and sigmoid colon had the highest incidence. Most juvenile and retention polyps were found in young patients, but most adenomatous occurred in adults. In recent years, the incidence of colorectal polyps, the average patient age, and the adenomatous type have increased in the Nanchang area, but inflammatory and retention types decreased.展开更多
To assess individual direct radiative effects of diverse aerosol species on a regional scale, the air quality modeling system RAMS-CMAQ (Regional Atmospheric Modeling System and Community Multiscale Air Quality) cou...To assess individual direct radiative effects of diverse aerosol species on a regional scale, the air quality modeling system RAMS-CMAQ (Regional Atmospheric Modeling System and Community Multiscale Air Quality) coupled with an aerosol optical properties/radiative transfer module was used to simulate the temporal and spatial distributions of their optical and radiative properties over East Asia throughout 2005. Annual and seasonal averaged aerosol direct radiative forcing (ADRF) of all important aerosols and individual components, such as sulfate, nitrate, ammonium, black carbon (BC), organic carbon (OC), and dust at top-of-atmosphere (TOA) in clear sky are analyzed. Analysis of the model results shows that the annual average ADRF of all important aerosols was in the range of 0 to -18 W m-z, with the maximum values mainly distributed over the Sichuan Basin. The direct radiative effects of sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium make up most of the total ADRF in East Asia, being concentrated mainly over North and Southeast China. The model domain is also divided into seven regions based on different administrative regions or countries to investigate detailed information about regional ADRF variations over East Asia. The model results show that the ADRFs of sulfate, ammonium, BC, and OC were stronger in summer and weaker in winter over most regions of East Asia, except over Southeast Asia. The seasonal variation in the ADRF of nitrate exhibited the opposite trend. A strong ADRF of dust mainly appeared in spring over Northwest China and Mongolia.展开更多
Tropical cyclone (TC) genesis in the South China Sea (SCS) during 1979-2008 underwent a decadal variation around 1993. A total of 55 TCs formed in the SCS from May to September during 1994- 2008, about twice that ...Tropical cyclone (TC) genesis in the South China Sea (SCS) during 1979-2008 underwent a decadal variation around 1993. A total of 55 TCs formed in the SCS from May to September during 1994- 2008, about twice that during 1979-1993 (27). During the TC peak season (July-September, JAS), there were 43 TCs fi'om 1994-2008, but only 17 during 1979-1993. For July in particular, 13 TCs formed from 1994-2008, but there were none during 1979-1993. The change in TC number is associated with changes of key environmental conditions in atmosphere and ocean. Compared to 1979-1993, the subtropical high was significantly weaker and was displaced more eastward during 1994-2008. In the former period, a stronger subtropical high induced downward flow, inhibiting TC formation. In the latter period, vertical wind shear and outgoing longwave radiation all weakened. Mid-level (850-500 hPa) humidity, and relative vorticity were higher. Sea surface temperature and upper layer heat content were also higher in the area. All these factors favor TC genesis during the latter period. The decadal change of TC genesis led to more landfalling TCs in Southern China during the period 1994-2008, which contributed to an abrupt increase in regional rainfall.展开更多

A panel data analysis is used to show either the existence of the relationships across FDI, economic and environmental variables or their nature across provinces and time (fixed or random effect model). Model results suggest that diversification of policies across provinces would be more effective in the strategic planning process of a metropolitan city.展开更多

However, even when benefits of transfer pricing are evident, multinational organizations still face legal challenges, including performing parts of transactions in another jurisdiction and motives of tax officials in investigating transfer pricing. This is especially true when countries do not want to lose benefits from tax collection. Therefore, many countries and organizations such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Pacific Association of Tax Administrators (PATA), the European Union (EU), and Vietnam have introduced requirements for transfer pricing documentation to prevent transfer pricing manipulation and maintain benefits from taxes. The aim of this research was to assess the compliance of those requirements of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in Vietnam. This article which is a summary of our research includes the following sections: (1) OECD guidelines of transfer pricing documentation; (2) Vietnam regulations of transfer pricing documentation; (3) results of the research; and (4) discussion and conclusion.展开更多

In this paper the author studies the development scale, development schedule, accommodation and transmission schemes of the cascade hydropower stations along the Lancang River basin, one of the five large basins in China, based on the load characteristics of grids at both the sending end and the receiving end, the strategy of complementary utilization of thermal power and hydropower, the advanced transmission technologies, and the optimal economic performance. The study results show that, the cascade hydropower stations on the upper reaches of the Lancang River in Yunnan should mainly serve Guangdong Province, with proper planning of partly serving Yunnan Province during dry seasons. The transmission schemes should adopt UHVDC, UHVAC, and single-tower double-circuited HVDC transmission scheme according to the transmission capacity and distance.展开更多

In this ...The vertical deformation gradient can reflect the rate of vertical change in unit distance,and the vertical deformation velocity gradient can reflect the strength of the earth's crust tectonic activities. In this paper,using long period leveling data combined with GPS data,the vertical deformation gradient values are calculated. Leveling data and GPS data are two different means of monitoring deformation,but the result is approximately the same vertical deformation gradient. The results show that the spatial distribution of the vertical deformation velocity gradient and tectonic distribution has an obvious correlation. The most significant gradient anomalies along the North-South Seismic Belt are Xianshuihe fault, Longmenshan fault and Xiaojiang-Zemuhe fault, while the second gradient anomalies in the northeastern Qinghai-Tibetan plateau are Zhuanglanghe fault and Lenglongling fault. The Menyuan M_S6. 4 earthquake in 2016 occurred in this abnormal area. However,according to the vertical deformation high gradient area distribution,there is also the possibility of an earthquake occurrence in the Tianzhu and Jingtai area.The area of convergence of three major fault zones is the strongest tectonically active region of the North-South Seismic Belt.展开更多
The vertical structure of the atmospheric ozone and temperature as well as the seasonal variations is presented by using ozone sounding data at Zhongshan Station over East Antarctica from February, 2008 to February, 2...The vertical structure of the atmospheric ozone and temperature as well as the seasonal variations is presented by using ozone sounding data at Zhongshan Station over East Antarctica from February, 2008 to February, 2009. The results show that the heights of thermal tropopause and ozone tropopause are mostly the same with yearly mean 7.9 and 7.4 km separately above the station. There is obvious seasonal variation in the pressure and temperature of the tropopause, manifested by the clear one-wave pattern with an opposite phase. As the turning point of the tropopause temperature is visible in autumn and faint in spring and winter, the tropopause height can be better confirmed by utilization of the changes of ozone. Seasonal variation of the tropospheric ozone of vertical distribution is not clear, relative to stratosphere. In the spring, ozone in the low level of stratosphere lost seriously. The minimum partial ozone in 14 km was 1.57 MPa only and the maximum partial ozone occurred in the up level stratosphere. In the rest of the season the ozone increases with height rising in the low level of stratosphere. The evidence shows that ozone lost in spring is closely related with low temperature of polar night and the process of PSC photochemical destruction ozone in the stratosphere. From the vertical characteristics and seasonal variation of ozone and temperature, it is meaningful to understand formation and development of Antarctic ozone deletion.展开更多

By constructing a gravity model, using descriptive, quantitative methods and applying them to recent data set by Vietnam's authorities and the international organizations during the period from 1995 to 2011 of 18 Vietnam's major country partners, the author finds evidence broadly consistent with the prediction that the WTO has had a positive impact on FDI flows to Vietnam.

文摘Variation in intermediate water salinity in the South China Sea (SCS) between the 1960s and 1980s was studied using historical hydrographic data. The results demonstrate that the water was significantly fresher in the 1980s than in the 1960s, indicating that vertical mixing at intermediate water depth was reduced in the 1980s. This was partially because of the change of the SCS meridional overturning circulation (MOC) connecting local intermediate water with deep water. Data assimilation showed a 0.5Sv (1 Sv=10 6m 3/s) reduction in the strength of the MOC, which is about one third of the mean SCS MOC. Because the SCS MOC is linked to the Pacific Ocean, such an interdecadal variation in the intermediate water SCS may reflect anthropogenic climate change in the world ocean.
文摘OBJECTIVE To study the clinicopathologic characteristics, changes in the nature and incidence of colorectal polyps in the Nanchang area, Jiangxi, Province. METHODS We retrospectively investigated the patients with colorectal polyps who were diagnosed by colonoscopy and pathology in our hospital from 1990 to 2004. The analysis involved the incidence, average patient age, polyp location and pathological types. We recorded the changes of the polyp clinicopathologic features by comparing the clinicopathologic types of colorectal polyps over fi ve-year periods. RESULTS Of the 21,853 patients who received a colonoscopy, 2,889(13.2%) were diagnosed with colorectal polyps. Their average age was 46.6±16.5 years, with a male to female ratio of 1.8:1. The males were older than females (47.1±17.5 vs. 45.5±14.5, P<0.05). Location of the polyps: 41% in the rectum, 27.7% in the sigmoid colon, 35.8% in the left side verus 23.1% in the right side (P<0.05). Patients with polyps located in the transverse and ascending colon were older than those with polyps in the rectum and sigmoid colon (P<0.05). Adenomatous polyps comprised the most common type (67%) and the rectum was the most common site for each type, especially juvenile and retention polyps. Juvenile polyps were found in the youngest patients(12±4.8, P<0.05) and the adenomatous in the oldest (52±14, P<0.05). The ratio of patients with polyposis comprised 1.2%, and patients with polyps accompanied with colorectal cancer comprised 6.1%. Examination of the changes in the incidence, the average patient age, and adenomatous type showed that they had all increased, but the frequency of infl ammatory and retention polyps decreased. CONCLUSION Colorectal polyps are a common problem. The frequency is greater in males compared to females and the rectum and sigmoid colon had the highest incidence. Most juvenile and retention polyps were found in young patients, but most adenomatous occurred in adults. In recent years, the incidence of colorectal polyps, the average patient age, and the adenomatous type have increased in the Nanchang area, but inflammatory and retention types decreased.

文摘To assess individual direct radiative effects of diverse aerosol species on a regional scale, the air quality modeling system RAMS-CMAQ (Regional Atmospheric Modeling System and Community Multiscale Air Quality) coupled with an aerosol optical properties/radiative transfer module was used to simulate the temporal and spatial distributions of their optical and radiative properties over East Asia throughout 2005. Annual and seasonal averaged aerosol direct radiative forcing (ADRF) of all important aerosols and individual components, such as sulfate, nitrate, ammonium, black carbon (BC), organic carbon (OC), and dust at top-of-atmosphere (TOA) in clear sky are analyzed. Analysis of the model results shows that the annual average ADRF of all important aerosols was in the range of 0 to -18 W m-z, with the maximum values mainly distributed over the Sichuan Basin. The direct radiative effects of sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium make up most of the total ADRF in East Asia, being concentrated mainly over North and Southeast China. The model domain is also divided into seven regions based on different administrative regions or countries to investigate detailed information about regional ADRF variations over East Asia. The model results show that the ADRFs of sulfate, ammonium, BC, and OC were stronger in summer and weaker in winter over most regions of East Asia, except over Southeast Asia. The seasonal variation in the ADRF of nitrate exhibited the opposite trend. A strong ADRF of dust mainly appeared in spring over Northwest China and Mongolia.

文摘Tropical cyclone (TC) genesis in the South China Sea (SCS) during 1979-2008 underwent a decadal variation around 1993. A total of 55 TCs formed in the SCS from May to September during 1994- 2008, about twice that during 1979-1993 (27). During the TC peak season (July-September, JAS), there were 43 TCs fi'om 1994-2008, but only 17 during 1979-1993. For July in particular, 13 TCs formed from 1994-2008, but there were none during 1979-1993. The change in TC number is associated with changes of key environmental conditions in atmosphere and ocean. Compared to 1979-1993, the subtropical high was significantly weaker and was displaced more eastward during 1994-2008. In the former period, a stronger subtropical high induced downward flow, inhibiting TC formation. In the latter period, vertical wind shear and outgoing longwave radiation all weakened. Mid-level (850-500 hPa) humidity, and relative vorticity were higher. Sea surface temperature and upper layer heat content were also higher in the area. All these factors favor TC genesis during the latter period. The decadal change of TC genesis led to more landfalling TCs in Southern China during the period 1994-2008, which contributed to an abrupt increase in regional rainfall.
文摘The present work constitutes further explorations on Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) and environmental quality linkages and a starting point in the strategic planning process in the metropolitan area of Bari (the main province of the Apulia region in southern Italy) in the context of transfrontier commercial cooperation. A panel data analysis is used to show either the existence of the relationships across FDI, economic and environmental variables or their nature across provinces and time (fixed or random effect model). Model results suggest that diversification of policies across provinces would be more effective in the strategic planning process of a metropolitan city.
文摘The increase of inter-boundary transactions brings a number of benefits for enterprises. However, even when benefits of transfer pricing are evident, multinational organizations still face legal challenges, including performing parts of transactions in another jurisdiction and motives of tax officials in investigating transfer pricing. This is especially true when countries do not want to lose benefits from tax collection. Therefore, many countries and organizations such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Pacific Association of Tax Administrators (PATA), the European Union (EU), and Vietnam have introduced requirements for transfer pricing documentation to prevent transfer pricing manipulation and maintain benefits from taxes. The aim of this research was to assess the compliance of those requirements of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in Vietnam. This article which is a summary of our research includes the following sections: (1) OECD guidelines of transfer pricing documentation; (2) Vietnam regulations of transfer pricing documentation; (3) results of the research; and (4) discussion and conclusion.
文摘Most of the hydropower projects in Southwest China and the adjacent foreign regions will be put into operation between 2015 and 2020, which will bring some difficulties for reasonable accommodation and delivery of electric energy. In this paper the author studies the development scale, development schedule, accommodation and transmission schemes of the cascade hydropower stations along the Lancang River basin, one of the five large basins in China, based on the load characteristics of grids at both the sending end and the receiving end, the strategy of complementary utilization of thermal power and hydropower, the advanced transmission technologies, and the optimal economic performance. The study results show that, the cascade hydropower stations on the upper reaches of the Lancang River in Yunnan should mainly serve Guangdong Province, with proper planning of partly serving Yunnan Province during dry seasons. The transmission schemes should adopt UHVDC, UHVAC, and single-tower double-circuited HVDC transmission scheme according to the transmission capacity and distance.

文摘The vertical deformation gradient can reflect the rate of vertical change in unit distance,and the vertical deformation velocity gradient can reflect the strength of the earth's crust tectonic activities. In this paper,using long period leveling data combined with GPS data,the vertical deformation gradient values are calculated. Leveling data and GPS data are two different means of monitoring deformation,but the result is approximately the same vertical deformation gradient. The results show that the spatial distribution of the vertical deformation velocity gradient and tectonic distribution has an obvious correlation. The most significant gradient anomalies along the North-South Seismic Belt are Xianshuihe fault, Longmenshan fault and Xiaojiang-Zemuhe fault, while the second gradient anomalies in the northeastern Qinghai-Tibetan plateau are Zhuanglanghe fault and Lenglongling fault. The Menyuan M_S6. 4 earthquake in 2016 occurred in this abnormal area. However,according to the vertical deformation high gradient area distribution,there is also the possibility of an earthquake occurrence in the Tianzhu and Jingtai area.The area of convergence of three major fault zones is the strongest tectonically active region of the North-South Seismic Belt.

文摘The vertical structure of the atmospheric ozone and temperature as well as the seasonal variations is presented by using ozone sounding data at Zhongshan Station over East Antarctica from February, 2008 to February, 2009. The results show that the heights of thermal tropopause and ozone tropopause are mostly the same with yearly mean 7.9 and 7.4 km separately above the station. There is obvious seasonal variation in the pressure and temperature of the tropopause, manifested by the clear one-wave pattern with an opposite phase. As the turning point of the tropopause temperature is visible in autumn and faint in spring and winter, the tropopause height can be better confirmed by utilization of the changes of ozone. Seasonal variation of the tropospheric ozone of vertical distribution is not clear, relative to stratosphere. In the spring, ozone in the low level of stratosphere lost seriously. The minimum partial ozone in 14 km was 1.57 MPa only and the maximum partial ozone occurred in the up level stratosphere. In the rest of the season the ozone increases with height rising in the low level of stratosphere. The evidence shows that ozone lost in spring is closely related with low temperature of polar night and the process of PSC photochemical destruction ozone in the stratosphere. From the vertical characteristics and seasonal variation of ozone and temperature, it is meaningful to understand formation and development of Antarctic ozone deletion.
文摘The standard of care for early or locally advanced rectal cancer is promoted by multiple clinical practice guidelines globally,but the considerable differences between the guidelines may cause confusion.We compared the latest updated clinical practice guidelines from five professional societies/authorities:National Comprehensive Cancer Network,American Society of Colorectal Surgeons,European Society of Medical Oncology,Chinese National Health Commission,and Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology.Key evidence is discussed for a better understanding of some seemingly contradictory recommendations.
