Variations in abundance of the 4 groups of microorganism and cellular pigment content of the autotrophs during incubation were followed by flow-cytometric measurements for seven days. During the incubation, Syn and Euk showed a relatively higher demand on Fe and N, while Pro required higher levels of Co and P. The Fe was inadequate for all the organisms in the deep euphotic zone (75 m) of the study area. The experimental results also implied that biological interaction among the organisms played a role in the community structure shift during the incubation. It seemed that besides the effects of temperature, there are some other physical and chemical limitations as well as impacts from biological interactions on Pro distribution in coast waters.展开更多

Methods: Twenty-four Japanese rabbitswere divided into 2 groups of models and controls. ANFH models were produced byintramuscular-injection of large dosage of steroid to rabbits for 8 weeks. From the 4th, 8th and12th week after production of models, 2 rabbits of each group were sacrificed to observe thestructure of femoral head through light microscope and scanning electron microscope. The contents ofNitric Oxide (NO), tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA) and -plasminogen activator inhibitor(PAI) in plasma of the 4 rabbits in each group were estimated at the same time. Results: Comparedwith control group, the rabbits of model group exhibited many differences: such as osteoporosis offemoral head, the presence of more bone lacuna and fat cell through light microscope observing; thebroken and sunk bone trabecula, the loosen and broken collagen fibers on the surface of bone matrixthrough scanning electron microscope observing. Compared with control group, the Concentration ofNO and t-PA in plasma of the model rabbits decreased obviously, but the Concentration of the PAIincreased obviously. Conclusion: The steroid-induced ANFH might be related to the lower level of NOand the descent of fibrinolytic activity.展开更多

METHODS: The ARIP2 mRNA expression kinetics in Hepal-6 cells was detected by RT-PCR, and its regulation factors were analyzed by treatment with signal transduction activators such as phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA), forskolin and A23187. After pcDNA3- ARIP2 was transfected into Hepal-6 cells, the effects of ARIP2 overexpression on activin type Ⅱ receptor (ActRⅡ) and collagen Ⅳ expression were evaluated. RESULTS: The expression levels of ARIP2 mRNA in Hapel-6 cells were elevated in time-dependent manner 12 h after treatment with activin A and endotoxin LPS, but not changed evidently in the early stage of stimulation (2 or 4 h). The ARIP2 mRNA expression was increased after stimulated with signal transduction activators such as PMA and forskolin in Hepal-6 cells, whereas decreased after treatment with A23187 (25.3% ± 5.7% vs 48.1% ± 3.6%, P 〈 0.01). ARIP2 overexpression could remarkably suppress the expression of ActRⅡA mRNA in dose-dependent manner, but has no effect on ActRⅡB in Hepal-6 cells induced by activin A. Furthermore, we have found that overexpression of ARIP2 could inhibit collagen Ⅳ mRNA and protein expressions induced by activin A in Hapel-6 cells. CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that ARIP2 expression can be influenced by various factors. ARIP2 may participate in the negative feedback regulation of signal transduction in the late stage by affecting the expression of ActRIIA and play an important role in regulation of development of liver fibrosis induced by activin.展开更多

Methods: The levels of TFPI, uPA and uPAR were measured by using ELISA and the level of PAI was determined by method of chromogenic substrates in 44 patients with malignant solid tumors (group A1) and 30 patients with acute leukemia (AL, group A2). Results: The levels of TFPI, uPA, and uPAR in group A1 were higher than those in normal control group (group B). TFPI, uPAR levels in group A2 were higher than those in group B, while the level of PAI in group A2 was lower than that in group B. Among the groups, TFPI was increased in the combined infection group; PAI decreased in the hemorrhage group; TFPI, uPA, uPAR and PAI increased in relapsing and metastasis group; TFPI decreased in one-week dead group, while uPA and uPAR increased. Conclusion: The patients with malignant solid tumor and AL had different anticoagulation or fibrinolysis states. TFPI, uPA, Upar and PAI can be used to evaluate the disease condition and the prognosis.展开更多

To better understand this degradation, we analyzed the processes and characteristics of changes in wetland plant communities in two of the largest lakes in Yunnan Province, Dianchi and Erhai lakes. We collected records of native and alien plant communities in the two lakes from literature published from the 195os to current period. We calculated plant community types and their area in some historical periods when related data were reported, and analyzed the relationship between chances in nlant communities and water nollution. InDianehi Lake, 12 community types of native plant communities, covering over 80% of the surface in the 195os and 196os, were reduced to four types covering 2.4% by the late 2ooos. Alien plant communities started to appear in the lake in the late 197os, and have since come to cover 4.9% of the lake surface, thereby becoming dominant. In Erhai Lake, 16 community types of native plant communities, covering 47.1% of the lake surface in the late 197os, declined to lo community types, covering 9.3% of the surface, by the late 2ooos. Alien plant communities appeared in the middle 198os, and at present cover 0.7% of the surface area. It was indicated that changes in plant communities were significant related to water eutrophication. The area occupied by native and alien plant communities was, respectively, negatively andpositively related to the content of nutrients in water. This showed lacustrine pollution played an important role in native plant loss and alien plant invasion in the two plateau lakes.展开更多

It is shown that with increasing the isospin of fissioning systems, charged-particle emission is not sensitive to the strength of nuclear dissipation. In addition, we have found that increasing the excitation energy not only increases the influence of nuclear dissipation on particle emission but also greatly enhances the sensitivity of the emission of pre-scission neutrons or charged particles to the isospin of the system. Therefore, in order to extract dissipation strength more accurately by taking light particle multiplicities it is important to choose both a highly excited compound nucleus and a proper kind of particles for systems with different isospins.展开更多

METHODS: One to 6 tandem copies of HBV preS1 (21-47) fragment were inserted into HBcAg at the sites of aa 78 and 82, and expressed in E.coli. ELISA, Western blot and animal immunization were used to analyze the antigenicity and immmunogenicity of purified particulate antigens. The ability to capture HBV by antibodies elicited by chimeric particles was detected with immuno-capture PCR. RESULTS: Recombinant antigens CI, CII, CIII carrying 1-3 copies of HBV preSl (21-47) individually could form virus-like particles (VLPs), similar to HBcAg in morphology. But recombinant antigens carrying 4-6 copies of HBV preSl (21-47) were poorly expressed in E.coli. Chimeric antigens were lacking of immunoreactivity with anti-HBc monoclonal antibodies (McAbs), but still reserved good immunoreactivity with anti-HBe McAbs. CI, CII, CIII could strongly react with anti-preS1 McAb, suggesting that preS1 (21-47) fragment was well exposed on the surface of chimeric VLPs. Three chimeric VLP antigens (CI, CII and CIII) could stimulate mice to produce high-level antibody responses, and their immunogenicity was stronger than non-particulate antigen 21-47*6, containing 6 copies of preS1 (21-47). Mouse antibodies to CI, CII and CIII were able to capture HBV virions in immuno-capture PCR assay in vitro. CONCLUSION: Chimeric particulate antigens of receptor binding site-core antigen of HBV can elicit strong antibody responses to preS1. They have a potential to be developed into prophylactic or therapeutic vaccines against HBV infection.展开更多

We present the total cross sections including the next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections and the contribution from gluon-gluon fusion subprocess. Our numerical results show that the one-loop QCD corrections significantly increase the tree-level cross sections, and the variation of K factor is in the range between 1.28 (1.32) and 1.79 (1.58) at the Tevatron (LHC). We find that the QCD correction from the one-loop gluon-gluon fusion subprocess is remarkable at the LHC and should be taken into account.展开更多

The Thomas-Fermi equation and the corresponding boundary conditions are derived for the crystal planar channels. The numerical solution for the electric field in the channels between (110) planes of the single crystal silicon and the critical angles of channelling protons in them arc shown. Reasonable agreements with the experimental data are obtained. The results show that the Thomas-Fermi method for the crystal works well in this study, and a microscopic research of the channel electric field with the contribution of all atoms and the atomic ionization being taken into account is practical.展开更多

Methods: The mucosa was mechanically damaged transurethrally under direct vision, and then human bladder cancer cell line T24 was inoculated into the bladders of BALB/c nude mice to establish orthotopic bladder cancer model. To find a suitable concentration of Gd-DTPA for this re- search. MRI was performed weekly to assess tumor growth, using Gd-DTPA as contrast agent. The pathologic morphology of the bladders and other specimens were observed with HE stain. Results: All the 25 mice developed bladder cancer after inoculation. The best concentration of Gd-DTPA was 1.408 mg/mL. On MRI, no change in the bladders was observed on day 7 after inoculation, filling defect in the bladders, accordant to actual tumor size, was detected on days 14, 21 and 28. Pathologic examination showed that tumor grew in the mucosa or superficial muscle of bladder on day 7, confined in muscle layer on days 14–28, and invaded serosa on day 35. Conclusion: Transurethrally damaged bladder mucosa under direct vision and instilled bladder cancer cell T24, we successfully established an orthotopic bladder cancer model. Tumor growth simulated the progression of human bladder cancer approximately. MRI was a reliable way for dynamic detection of murine orthotopic bladder tumor.展开更多

文摘Isospin effects on particle emission of fissioning isobaric sources and isotopic sources , and its dependence on the excitation energy are studied via Smoluchowski equations. Therefore, in order to extract dissipation strength more accurately by taking light particle multiplicities it is important to choose both a highly excited compound nucleus and a proper kind of particles for systems with different isospins.

They have a potential to be developed into prophylactic or therapeutic vaccines against HBV infection.

文摘A physically based analytical model was developed to predict the performance of the plateau observed in the gate C-V characteristics of strained-Si/SiGe pMOSFET.Experimental results were used to validate this model. The extracted parameters from our model were tOX=20 nm,ND=1×1016cm 3,tSSi=13.2 nm,consistent with the experimental values. The results show that the simulation results agree with experimental data well.It is found that the plateau can be strongly affected by doping concentration,strained-Si layer thickness and mass fraction of Ge in the SiGe layer. The model has been implemented in the software for strained silicon MOSFET parameter extraction, and has great value in the design of the strained-Si/SiGe devices.

文摘We investigate the lepton flavor violating productions pp/pp→eμ + X in the framework of the R-parity violating (RPV) supersymmetric model at the Tevatron and the CERN large hadron collider (LHC). We find that the QCD correction from the one-loop gluon-gluon fusion subprocess is remarkable at the LHC and should be taken into account.

文摘Abstract The B-spline expansion technique and time-dependent two-level approach are applied to study the interaction between the microwave field and potassium atoms in a static electric field. We obtain theoretical multiphoton resonance spectra that can be compared with the experimental data. We also obtain the time evolution of the final state in different microwave fields.

文摘The electric field in the crystal planar channels is studied by the Thomas-Fermi method. The results show that the Thomas-Fermi method for the crystal works well in this study, and a microscopic research of the channel electric field with the contribution of all atoms and the atomic ionization being taken into account is practical.
文摘As for the theory and method in garment structural design according to human figures,a principle for garment design,i.e.body-fitting without added allowance, and a combination of draping and planar design (DPD hereunder) for young ladies has been put forward, and, also,a DPD garment prototype for them has been established. And the applied formulae for extensively-practicing operation have been set up,which proves to be,with actual samples,a systematic and practical garment structural designing theory and approach.

文摘Objective: To establish an orthotopic bladder cancer model bearing human bladder cancer for experimental research, and monitor tumor progression by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). MRI was a reliable way for dynamic detection of murine orthotopic bladder tumor.
