In order to apply physical simulation results to natural gas hydrate reservoir parameters to provide a theoretical framework for the design of a development plan,an analytical equation method was used to obtain the si...In order to apply physical simulation results to natural gas hydrate reservoir parameters to provide a theoretical framework for the design of a development plan,an analytical equation method was used to obtain the similarity criteria of natural gas hydrate reservoir development by physical simulation,based on a mathematical model of natural gas hydrate development.Given the approach of numerical simulation,a sensitivity analysis for all parameters was carried out,which specifically demonstrated that initial temperature is the most important parameter.Parameters of thermal conductivity coefficients are not necessary for conducting the NGH dissociation process,which will fundamentally simplify the design and establishment of the model.The analysis provides a sound theoretical basis and design principles for particular similarity.展开更多

We adopt Py...This paper will make an investigation on the properties of lexical causatives from the cross-linguistic perspective. Specifically, we shall contrast the lexical causatives in English, Japanese and Chinese. We adopt Pylkk^inen's (2008) minimalist model as the framework. According to this model, the similarity of cross-linguistic causatives is attributed to the presence of the functional head vCAUSE. Variations of causatives in different languages can be attributed to two parameters: (i) whether vCAUSE obligatorily requires the presence of an external argument or not; (ii) the complement of vCAUSE is root-selecting, verb-selecting or phase-selecting. Causatives in languages can be ronghly divided into two types, namely the lexical causatives and the productive ones. As far as lexical causatives are concerned, languages can be classified into Voice-bundling vs. Non-Voice-bundling ones according to whether the presence of an external argument (i.e, causer or cause) is obligatorily required in lexical causatives or not. English is Voice-bundling and Japanese is Non-Voice-bundling. Chinese stands as the third type of languages which may be called semi-Voice-bnndling language since lexical unaccusative causatives in Chinese are Non-Voice-bundling while action-result-compounds unaccusatives (resultative unaccusatives) are Voice-bundling. In accordance with the principle of similarity in geology and topography, the Vs^30 (the average shear-velocity down to a 30m depth below the surface) approximation of sites is acquired by correlation between Vs^30 ...In accordance with the principle of similarity in geology and topography, the Vs^30 (the average shear-velocity down to a 30m depth below the surface) approximation of sites is acquired by correlation between Vs^30 and slopes after calculating the maximum slope of topography using the 30-sec Chinese Mainland DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data set. Site-amplification factors are then quantified with Vs^30 and applied to the ShakeMap system developed by this study to revise ground-motion amplitudes on bedrock estimated from empirical relationships. Finally, the distribution of ground motion parameters on the surface is obtained. This article also introduces the calculation process, calculation models of the ShakeMap systems and related software systems. In conclusion, certain examples indicate that the ShakeMap system is feasible in the Chinese Mainland.展开更多

Similarity solutions absent in previous publications are found in some new ranges of parameters in the governing equation. The accuracy and reliability of the solutions have been checked through detailed convergence study and compared with the solutions from the numerical method and analytic method, and excellent agreement has been found. This gives the strongest evidence that those solutions are indeed new ones.展开更多

The Lie point symmetries of this model are considered and similarity reductions of it are conducted.
