In order to effectively carry out mental health education in primary and secondary schools, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of both internal factors and the broader environment in which they exist. Understanding one’s own strengths and weaknesses, and weighing the pros and cons of the objective environment, is essential for targeted mental health education programs for primary and middle school students. This article employs the SWOT analysis framework, which includes the analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, to systematically evaluate the key factors in the mental health education work of primary and secondary schools. The aim of the SWOT analysis is to reveal the existing strengths and potentials in mental health education, identify the shortcomings and limitations, seize the opportunities brought by the external environment, and predict the challenges that may arise. This article proposes a series of specific and feasible strategies and suggestions aimed at promoting the deeper and more effective development of mental health education in primary and secondary schools, thereby fostering the comprehensive and healthy development of students.展开更多
