Types and structure of plant communities in the Yellow River Delta were investigated by using detrended canonical correspondence analyses (DCCAs) and a two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN). The distribution pattern and influential factors of the plant communities were also analyzed by testing elevation, slope, soil characteristics, longitude and latitude of 134 vegetation samples collected by representative plot sampling methods. Results showed that all the 134 vegetation samples could be divided into seven vegetation groups, separately dominated by Robinia pseucdoacacia, Imperata cylindrical, Miscanthus saccharifleus, Suaeda salsa, Aeluropus sinensis, Phragmites australis and Tamarix chinensis. The vegetation distribution pattern was mainly related to elevation, ground water depth and soil characteristics such as salinity and soluble potassium. Among the factors affecting distribution pattern of the plant communities, the species matrix explained by non-spatial environmental variation accounts for 45.2% of total variation. Spatial variation and spatial-structured environmental variation explain 11.8%, and 2.2%, respectively. Remained 40.8% of undetermined variation is attributed to biological and stochastic factors. 展开更多

In this paper we calculate a synthetic medium surface displacement response that is consistent with real measurement data by applying the least-square principle and a niche genetic algorithm to the parameters inversion problem of the wave equation in a two-phase medium. We propose a niche genetic multi-parameter (including porosity, solid phase density and fluid phase density) joint inversion algorithm based on a two-phase fractured medium in the BISQ model. We take the two-phase fractured medium of the BISQ model in a two- dimensional half space as an example, and carry out the numerical reservoir parameters inversion. Results show that this method is very convenient for solving the parameters inversion problem for the wave equation in a two-phase medium, and has the advantage of strong noise rejection. Relative to conventional genetic algorithms, the niche genetic algorithm based on a sharing function can not only significantly speed up the convergence, but also improve the inversion precision. 展开更多

The doubly curved shell(DCS)is a common structure in the engineering field.In a thermal environment,the vibration characteristics of the DCS will be affected by the thermal effect.The research on the vibration characteristics of DCS in thermal environment is relatively limited.In this paper,the thermal strain and the change of Young’s modulus caused by the changing of temperature are studied,and the DCS energy equation is established systematically.The displacement tolerance function of the DCS is constructed by the spectral geometry method,and the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the DCS with different structural parameters,such as thicknesses,ratios of R_(a)/R_(b) and a/b,at different temperatures are solved by the Rayleigh-Ritz method.The results show that the natural frequency of the DCS decreases with the increasing temperature,R_(a)/R_(b) and a/b ratios,and increases with the increasing thickness. 展开更多

The objective of this work was to determine the location of emergency material warehouses. For the site selection problem of emergency material warehouses, the triangular fuzzy numbers are respectively demand of the demand node, the distance between the warehouse and demand node and the cost of the warehouse, a bi-objective programming model was established with minimum total cost of the system and minimum distance between the selected emergency material warehouses and the demand node. Using the theories of fuzzy numbers, the fuzzy programming model was transformed into a determinate bi-objective mixed integer programming model and a heuristic algorithm for this model was designed. Then, the algorithm was proven to be feasible and effective through a numerical example. Analysis results show that the location of emergency material warehouse depends heavily on the values of degree a and weight wl. Accurate information of a certain emergency activity should be collected before making the decision. 展开更多

The transient radiation of the antenna above the lossy ground is computed using the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method The determining factors of the field waveform are explored and analysed on the basis of the physical evolution process of the transient radiation. The typical waveform of the electric field and the field distribution characteristics, both of which are important for HEMP simulator design and the effect tests, are presented. We study a system consisting of two identical non-interacting single-mode cavity fields coupled to a common vacuum environment and provide general, explicit, and exact solutions to its master equation by means of the characteristic function method. We analyze the entanglement dynamics of two-mode squeezed thermal state in this model and show that its entanglement dynamics is strongly determined by the two-mode squeezing parameter and the purity. In particular, we find that two-mode squeezed thermal state with the squeezing parameter r ≤ -(1/2) In √u is extremely fragile and almost does not survive in a common vacuum environment. We investigate the time evolution of nonlocality for two-mode squeezed thermal state in such an environment. It is found that the evolved state loses its nonlocality in the beginning of the evolution, but after a time, the revival of nonlocality can occur. 展开更多

This paper introduces linguistic policies and phenomena in China, and reviews the current studies on bilingual education in China both at home and abroad. Cyanide Contents of Leaves of Commonly Consumed Cassava Varieties from Three Geographical Regions of Ghana

Consuming a cyanogenic plant is an etiological factor to the persistence of iodine deficiency in the post salt iodization phase. Ghana, notably the Northern belt, still reports of iodine deficiency after 14 years of mandatory consumption of iodized salt by an Act of Parliament. The study aimed at determining the cyanide contents of leaves of commonly consumed cassava varieties in Ghana and investigating the effects of some environmental factors on cyanide content. Three communities each from Southern, Middle and Northern Ghana served as the study sites from where young, non-diseased and fully-spread cassava leaves were sampled from plants of commonly consumed cassava varieties. Cyanide was analyzed by the standard color^metric method based on the chloramine-T/pyridine-barbituric acid protocol (4500-CN E). Cassava leaves from Northern Ghana had significantly higher mean cyanide content (177.22 ± 20.82 ppm) than those from Middle (130.83± 33.00 ppm) and Southern Ghana (127.24 ± 37.54 ppm) (P 〈 0.001). Two-factor ANOVA showed significantly higher adverse environmental effects on cyanide contents of leaves of unimproved cassava varieties than improved ones (R2 = 0.627, P = 0.023). From multiple regression analysis, temperature was the most significant environmental factor explaining 33% of the variability in cyanide content (R2 = 0.331, P = 0.002), followed by altitude (R2 = 0.106, P = 0.049) and rainfall (R2 = 0.084, P = 0.062). The high cyanide contents of cassava leaves from Northern Ghana, due principally to the high atmospheric temperature, may be a contributory factor to the high prevalence of goiter and the persistence of iodine deficiency in that geographic region. 展开更多

Carbon-motivated border tax adjustment (BTA) aims to compensate for the loss of competitiveness of carbon intensive products due to carbon dioxide abatement actions. Based on the analysis of the international background of carbon-motivated BTAs, this paper discusses the fundamental motivation leading to US policy transformation, the potential impacts of the policy on China's manufacturing industries, and the compatibility of the policy to WTO rules. Carbon-motivated BTAs violate the fundamental principle of the UNFCCC, and potentially conflict with the core WTO principle of non-discrimination reflected in the GATT Articles 1 and III. However, Article XX of the GATT may be applicable. Thus, the author suggests several measures to alleviate the impacts of carbon-motivated BTAs, and puts forward countermeasures based on carbon consumption per capita. 展开更多

By optimizing the phase sequence, the frequency electric intensity and magnetic field strength can be reduced. Within a distance of 25 m from the center of the transmission line, the power frequency electric intensity and magnetic field strength fall off sharply with the distance increase. Finally, the best phase sequence and the minimum ground clearance of the transmission lines were obtained to meet the requirements of the least impact on envionment. 展开更多

Two-sided and Heterogeneous Effects of Environmental Regulation on the Technological Innovation Efficiency of Iron and Steel Enterprises in China

In this study,the relationship between environmental regulations and technological innovation efficiencyis empirically examined via panel data from 33 iron and steel enterprises(ISs)in China between 2015 and 2021.The results show that the average“innovation compensation effect”of environmental regulations on the technological innovation efficiency of ISs exceeds the average“compliance cost effect”,thus resulting in a clearly positivenet effect.Both the two-sided effects and the net effects vary across different years,geographical regions,andtypes of property rights.As the quantile of technological innovation efficiency increases,the positive influence ofenvironmental regulations tends to increase.Furthermore,the strengthening of financing constraints and firmcompetitiveness enhances the positive impact of environmental regulations on the technological innovation efficiency of ISs.Additionally,a double-threshold effect of environmental regulations on the technological innovationefficiency of ISs is revealed in this study.The realisation of the Porter hypothesis occurs when financing constraintsand firm competitiveness fall within specific threshold intervals.This research not only deepens our understandingof the relationship between environmental regulations and the technological innovation efficiency of ISs but alsoprovides valuable policy insights for optimising environmental regulations to facilitate targeted improvements in thelevel of technological innovation efficiency. 展开更多
