Methods The sulphonylurea glimepiride was extract...Aim A simple, sensitive and rapid RP HPLC method with pre column derivatization has been developed for the determination of sulphonylurea glimepiride in dog serum. Methods The sulphonylurea glimepiride was extracted from the dog serum using dichlromethane followed by derivatization with DNBF for 20 min at 100℃. The solvent was then evaporated at 60℃ under nitrogen, and the residue was taken up in 100 μL of mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile water (75∶30, v/v). The separation was performed on a Hypersil BDS C18 column with a flow rate of 0 8 mL·min -1 , and the ultraviolet detector wavelength was set at 350 nm. Results Extraction recovery ranged from 75.9% to 83.2%, and methodological recovery was between 96.5% and 109.3%. Within day RSD ranged from 1.5% to 6.3%, and inter day RSD was between 2 9% and 14.8%. The method showed good linearity (R=0.9998). Conclusion The method was simple, convenient and sensitive. The reaction of derivatization was reproducible.展开更多

Under the derivatization conditions optimized,the calibration curve is Y1=-3.83×103+1.33 ×105X1,r=0.998 for P and Y2=-7.86 × 102+6.33 × 104X2,r=0995 for PE,where Y is the peak area and X is the weight of the alkaloid; the average recovery is 98.0%(n=5, RSD=2.1%) for P and 101.0%(n=5,RSD=4.1%)for PE,the linear range is from 0.504 μg to 3.126μg for P and from 0.520μgto 3.328μgfor PE,respectively. Results of the determination of the two alkaloids in several samples of different Fritillaria species from various parts ofthe country are presented.The results suggest that P and PE are two major chemical constituents in bulbs of different Fritillaria species,and that the method developed is generally appli-cable to the determination of the hydroxy group on aliphatic fused ring systems without steric hin-drance.展开更多

Momentum term, adaptive learning rate, the forgetting mechanics, and conjugate gradients method are introduced to improve the basic BP algorithm aiming to speed up the convergence of the BP algorithm and enhance the accuracy for diagnosis. A heart disease database consisting of 352 samples is applied to the training and testing courses of the system. The performance of the system is assessed by cross-validation method. It is found that as the basic BP algorithm is improved step by step, the convergence speed and the classification accuracy of the network are enhanced, and the system has great application prospect in supporting heart diseases diagnosis.展开更多

The Cs0.35V2O5/Cu composite material was prepared by the displ...Cs0.35V2O5 was successfully synthesized as cathode material for lithium secondary battery by the rheological phase reaction method from Cs2CO3 and NH4VO3. The Cs0.35V2O5/Cu composite material was prepared by the displacement reaction in CuSO4 solution using zinc powder as a reductant. The structure and electrochemical property of the so-prepared powders were characterized by means of XRD (powder X-ray diffraction) and the galvanostatic discharge-charge techniques. The results show that the electrochemical property of Cs0.35V2O5/Cu composite material is significantly improved compared to the bulk Cs0.35V2O5 material. The Cs0.35V2O5/Cu composite material exhibits the first discharge capacity as high as 164.3 mAh.g -1 in the range of 4.2-1.8V at a current rate of 10 mA.g-1 and remains at a stable discharge capacity of about 110 mAh.g-1 within 40 cycles.展开更多
AIM:To investigate the role of CXC chemokine receptor-4 (CXCR4) and stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) in lymph node metastasis of gastric carcinoma.METHODS:In 40 cases of gastric cancer,expression of CXCR4 mRNA in...AIM:To investigate the role of CXC chemokine receptor-4 (CXCR4) and stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) in lymph node metastasis of gastric carcinoma.METHODS:In 40 cases of gastric cancer,expression of CXCR4 mRNA in cancer and normal mucous membrane and SDF-1 mRNA in lymph nodes around the stomach was detected using quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) (TaqMan) and immunohistochemistric assay.SGC-7901 and MGC80-3 cancer cells were used to investigate the effect of SDF-1 on cell proliferation and migration.RESULTS:Quantitative reverse transcription PCR and immunohistochemistry revealed that the expression level of CXCR4 in gastric cancer was significantly higher than that in normal mucous membrane (1.6244 ± 1.3801 vs 1.0715 ± 0.5243,P < 0.05).The expression level of CXCR4 mRNA in gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis was also significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis (0.823 ± 0.551 vs 0.392 ± 0.338,P < 0.05).CXCR4 expression was significantly related to poorly differentiated,high tumor stage and lymph node metastasis.Significant differences in the expression level of SDF-1 mRNA were found between lymph nodes in metastatic gastric cancer and normal nodes (0.5432 ± 0.4907 vs 0.2640 ± 0.2601,P < 0.05).The positive expression of SDF-1 mRNA in lymph nodes of metastatic gastric cancer was consistent with the positive expression of CXCR4 mRNA in gastric cancer (r=0.776,P < 0.01).Additionally,human gastric cancer cell lines expressed CXCR4 and showed vigorous proliferation and migratory responses to SDF-1.AMD3100 (a specific CXCR4 antagonist) was also found to effectively reduce the migration of gastric cancer cells.CONCLUSION:The CXCR4/SDF-1 axis is involved in the lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer.CXCR4 is considered as a potential therapeutic target in the treatment of gastric cancer.展开更多
The electroless nickel plating on the surface of carbon fibers was prepared by pretreating the carbon fibers in order to increase their conductivity,and consequently enhance the EMI shielding effectiveness of the comp...The electroless nickel plating on the surface of carbon fibers was prepared by pretreating the carbon fibers in order to increase their conductivity,and consequently enhance the EMI shielding effectiveness of the composites.The relationship between the performance of depositing coat and pH value,temperature,reaction time and the way of agitation was studied.Results show that the depositing quality is stable under pH between 4.5 and 5.0,temperature between 75 ℃ and 85 ℃,reaction time for 10 min and air agitation.The uniform and compact nickel layer deposited on carbon fibers was proved by XRD and SEM,and the electrical resistivity of carbon fibers with nickel coating was tested.Results indicate that the electrical resistivity of carbon fibers with electroless nickel plating is decreased by an order of magnitude compared with that of carbon fibers.It means that nickel coating can greatly improve the electromagnetic interference shielding properties of carbon fibers.展开更多

The electronic properties, pore dimension...Two series of molybdenum-containing MCM-41 catalysts were prepared for oxidative desulfurization ofdibenzothiophene (DBT) using t-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) as the oxidant. The electronic properties, pore dimension and hydrophilic properties of the catalysts were studied by XRD, BET, and 1R spectrometry. The Mo-Al2O3 catalyst and TiMCM-3% were also studied for comparison. The two series of MCM-41 zeolite with MoO3 in the framework or impregnated on the surface exhibited considerable activities at low MoO3 content and both were faxbetter than the Mo-Al2O3 catalyst, but had lower activities as compared to the TiMCM-3% catalyst. The catalysts with the highest activity were evaluated in a fixed-bed reactor. The concentration of DBT in model diesel upon oxidative desulfurization was successfully reduced from 5000 ppm to less than 150 ppm, but the catalysts were deactivated very fast. The probable reason was the high affinity of DBTO2 to the MCM-41 skeleton, especially to MoO3. The catalysts could restore most of its original activity by treating with alcohol.展开更多

The Mo-Al2O3 catalyst and TiMCM-3% were also studied for comparison. The two series of MCM-41 zeolite with MoO3 in the framework or impregnated on the surface exhibited considerable activities at low MoO3 content and both were faxbetter than the Mo-Al2O3 catalyst, but had lower activities as compared to the TiMCM-3% catalyst. The catalysts with the highest activity were evaluated in a fixed-bed reactor. The concentration of DBT in model diesel upon oxidative desulfurization was successfully reduced from 5000 ppm to less than 150 ppm, but the catalysts were deactivated very fast. The probable reason was the high affinity of DBTO2 to the MCM-41 skeleton, especially to MoO3. The catalysts could restore most of its original activity by treating with alcohol.
