To get better tracking performance of attitude command over the reentry phase of vehicles, the use of state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) method for attitude controller design of reentry vehicles was investigated....To get better tracking performance of attitude command over the reentry phase of vehicles, the use of state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) method for attitude controller design of reentry vehicles was investigated. Guidance commands are generated based on optimal guidance law. SDRE control method employs factorization of the nonlinear dynamics into a state vector and state dependent matrix valued function. State-dependent coefficients are derived based on reentry motion equations in pitch and yaw channels. Unlike constant weighting matrix Q, elements of Q are set as the functions of state error so as to get satisfactory feedback and eliminate state error rapidly, then formulation of SDRE is realized. Riccati equation is solved real-timely with Schur algorithm. State feedback control law u(x) is derived with linear quadratic regulator (LQR) method. Simulation results show that SDRE controller steadily tracks attitude command, and impact point error of reentry vehicle is acceptable. Compared with PID controller, tracking performance of attitude command using SDRE controller is better with smaller control surface deflection. The attitude tracking error with SDRE controller is within 5°, and the control deflection is within 30°.展开更多

The importance of teacher talk in EFL (English as a foreign language) class has aroused much attention in China since the late 1990s. On a basis of classroom discourse analysis, this paper has observed 14 courses wi...The importance of teacher talk in EFL (English as a foreign language) class has aroused much attention in China since the late 1990s. On a basis of classroom discourse analysis, this paper has observed 14 courses with 21 hours in total from advanced and fundamental grades in an English department. The classroom observation has been transcribed to analyze the features of teacher talk in various English courses in terms of five dimensions--discourse quantity, questioning types, feedback manners, interactional modification features, and conversation chains, It is found that on average there is significant difference in those five dimensions between fundamental and advanced courses. In terms of discourse quantity, the teacher talk has occupied more than 80% of the total talk amount and the total teacher talk in advanced courses is more than that in fundamental ones; the number of display questions is much more than that of referential questions; evaluative feedbacks are more than discursive ones; all of the teachers prefer to employ confirmation checks to modify students' answer, and half of the conversational chains are IRF (Initial-Response-Follow-up) structure while another half are full of complicated chains. The paper then provides some suggestions and implications for EFL teaching in the light of these findings.展开更多

The author develops a new approach to BSPDEs and also provides some new results. The adapted solution of BSPDEs in terms of those of SDEs and BSDEs is constructed. This brings a new insight on BSPDEs, and leads to a probabilistic approach. As a consequence, the existence, uniqueness, and regularity results are obtained for the (classical, Sobolev, and distributional) solution of BSPDEs.The dimension of the space variable x is allowed to be arbitrary n, and BSPDEs are allowed to be nonlinear in both unknown variables, which implies that the BSPDEs may be nonlinear in the gradient. First, the partially averaged Ito equations are derived by using the stochastic averaging method for quasi integrable-Hamiltonian systems under combined harmonic and white noise excitations. Then, the dynamical programming equation and its boundary and final time conditions for the control problems of maximizing the reliability is established from the partially averaged equations by using the dynamical programming principle. The nonlinear stochastic optimal control for maximizing the reliability is determined from the dynamical programming equation and control constrains. The reliability function of optimally controlled systems is obtained by solving the final dynamical programming equation. Finally, the application of the proposed procedure and effectiveness of the control strategy are illustrated by using an example.展开更多

To this end, an explicit Lyapunov function as a weighted and squared H2-norm of a small perturbation of the stationary solution is constructed. The authors show that by a suitable choice of the boundary feedback conditions, the H2- exponential stability of the stationary solution follows.
