本文介绍了80年代国际林木遗传改良领域一些新的研究成果和应用趋势,并把我国的研究现状与国际上出现的新情况作了比较,提出加快我国林木改良速度和提高工作效果的对策。

国产清梳联的发展与使用管理

20世纪 90年代以来国产清梳联技术有了长足的发展 ,工艺技术已趋成熟 ,主要技术指标已经赶上或超过进口同类设备的工艺技术水平 ,完全可以替代进口 ;2 0世纪末国际清梳联工艺技术又有了新的发展 ,正朝着短流程、宽幅化方向发展 ,进一步实现了精细抓棉 ,开松效果和控制自动化等方面也有大的改进。根据清梳联的生产实践提出了清梳联的评价指标和进一步扩大使用清梳联的建议。

Development path of Chinese low-carbon cities based on index evaluation

This work takes the 36 cities from China＇s low-carbon pilot project as the research object and uses the carbon emission per capita and GDP per capita to categorize the 36 cities into four types to reveal their low-carbon development status; these four types are leading cities, developing cities, latecomer cities, and exploring cities. On the basis of an index system that quantitatively describes low-carbon development, this research analyzes the characteristics, development trends, and low-carbon development pathways of the four types of cities. According to the present situation and objectives of national emissions and considering the differences in development stages, challenges, and opportunities for each type of the city, this research presents recommendations for the low-carbon roadmap and the medium- and long-term （by 2030） emission trend routes of different types of regions in China.

Trends of Urban Air Pollution in Zhengzhou City in 1996-2008

Urban air pollution is a commonly concerned environmental problem in the world. Identification of air quality trend using long-term monitoring data is helpful to understand the effectiveness of pollution control strategies. This study, using data from six monitoring stations in Zhengzhou City, analyzed the changing trend in concentrations of SO2, NOJNO2 and TSP/PM10 in 1996-2008, based on non-parametric Mann-Kendall test and Sen＇s slope estimator, and evaluated the comprehensive air pollution level using Multi-Pollutant Index （MPI）. It was found that the concen- tration of each pollutant exceeded obviously the World Health Organization （WHO） guideline value, but the changing trend varied： SO2 and NO2 were significantly increased mainly due to an increase in coal consumption and vehicle number, while NOx, TSP and PM10 decreased. The air pollution was serious, and differed markedly among the three functional regions： it is the most severe in the Industrial and Residential Area （IRA）, followed by the Transportation Hub and Business District （THBD）, and then the High-tech, Cultural and Educational Area （HCEA）. Different from NO2 concentration that had a similar change trend/rate among the function regions, the change rate of PM10 concentra- tion differed spatially, decreased much more obviously in THBD than other two regions. For the whole city, the com- prehensive air pollution level declined gradually, illustrating that the air quality in Zhengzhou was improved in the last decade.

Century-long variability and trends in daily precipitation characteristics at three Finnish stations

Long-term variations and trends in a wide range of statistics for daily precipitation characteristics in terms of intensity, frequency and duration in Finland were analysed using precipitation records during 1908e2008 from 3 meteorological stations in the south(Kaisaniemi),centre(Kajaani) and north(Sodankyl€a). Although precipitation days in northern part were more frequent than in central and southern parts, daily precipitation intensity in the south was generally higher than those in the centre and north of the country. Annual sum of very light precipitation(0 mm < daily precipitation long-term 50 th percentile of daily precipitation more than 0 mm) significantly( p < 0.05) decreased over time,with the highest rate in northern Finland. These decreasing trends might be the result of significant increases in frequency of days with very light precipitation at all the stations, with the highest and lowest rates in northern and southern Finland, respectively. Ratio of annual total precipitation to number of precipitation days also declined in Finland over 1908e2008, with a decreasing north to south gradient. However, annual duration indices of daily precipitation revealed no statistically significant trends at any station. Daily precipitation characteristics showed significant relationships with various well-known atmospheric circulation patterns(ACPs). In particular, the East Atlantic/West Russia(EA/WR)pattern in summer was the most influential ACP negatively associated with different daily precipitation intensity, frequency and duration indices at all three stations studied.

Hepatitis B and C infection and liver disease trends among human immunodeficiency virus-infected individuals

AIM:To examine trends in and correlates of liver disease and viral hepatitis in an human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected cohort. METHODS:The multi-site adult/adolescent spectrum of HIV-related diseases (ASD) followed 29 490 HIVinfected individuals receiving medical care in 11 U.S. metropolitan areas for an average of 2.4 years,and a total of 69 487 person-years,between 1998 and 2004. ASD collected data on the presentation,treatment,and outcomes of HIV,including liver disease,hepatitis screening,and hepatitis diagnoses. RESULTS:Incident liver disease,chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV),and hepatitis C virus (HCV) were diagnosed in 0.9,1.8,and 4.7 per 100 person-years. HBV and HCV screening increased from fewer than 20% to over 60% during this period of observation (P < 0.001). Deaths occurred in 57% of those diagnosed with liver disease relative to 15% overall (P < 0.001). Overall 10% of deaths occurred among individuals with a diagnosis of liver disease. Despite care guidelines promoting screening and vaccination for HBV and screening for HCV,screening and vaccination were not universally conducted or,if conducted,not documented. CONCLUSION:Due to high rates of incident liver disease,viral hepatitis screening,vaccination,and treatment among HIV-infected individuals should be a priority.

Bio-inspired computational techniques based on advanced condition monitoring

The application of bio-inspired computational techniques to the field of condition monitoring is addressed. First, the bio-inspired computational techniques are briefly addressed; the advantages and disadvantages of these computational methods are made clear. Then, the roles of condition monitoring in the predictive maintenance and failures prediction and the development trends of condition monitoring are discussed. Finally, a case study on the condition monitoring of grinding machine is described, which shows the application of bio-inspired computational technique to a practical condition monitoring system.

Focusing on several commonly used insect resistance genes,we reviewed the advances in insect-resistant transgenic rice,and analyzed the problems and developing tendency in transgenic rice research in this paper.

The Status Quo and Development Trend of Low-carbon Vehicle Technologies in China

Three types of low-carbon vehicle technologies in China are reviewed. Potential effects are listed for those integrated energy-saving technologies for conventional vehicles. Low carbon transitions, including alternative vehicle power train systems and fuels, are discussed on their development status and trends, including life cycle primary fossil energy use and greenhouse gas emissions of each pathway. To further support the low-carbon vehicle technologies development, integrated policies should seek to： （1） employ those integrated energy-saving technologies, （2） apply hybrid electric technology, （3） commercialize electric vehicles through battery technology innovation, （4） support fuel cell vehicles and hydrogen technology R＆D for future potential applications, （5） boost the R＆D of second generation biofuel technology, and （6） conduct further research on applying low-carbon technologies including CO2 capture and storage technology to coal-based transportation solutions.

Research ＆ Exploration Dematerialization Factors in Furniture-design Based on Scandinavian Style

Nordic design has also been called the ＂Scandinavian＂ design, with the best reputation in the international design field, especially in furniture, industrial products and other fields. Scandinavian design, with simple but not easy product appearance and shape, perfect man-machine interface, and very humane exotic customs, has led the global design industry trend, touching consumers＇ hearts all over the world since several decades of years ago. Dematerialization factors bound in Nordic-design are the root cause of the classic achievements. Dematerialization fully contains human touch, human factors. This is focusing on people-oriented design concepts, reflecting the best harmonious development of the modern world＇s ideas and themes. This article mainly takes Scandinavian-product design as an example-furniture and industrial design, and makes further exploration and research of dematerialization factors contained by products.

Trends on Rural Household Net Income Structure Based on Surveys of Baoding Villages from 1930-1998

Using the rural survey data preserved by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences＇ （CASS） Institute of Economics, this paper analyzes changes in the level and structure of per capita net income in the eleven villages of Baoding Prefecture, Hebei province, over the 1930-1997periods. According to the surveys, per capita net income level of the villages maintained consistent growth, as indicated by survey data on the years of 1930, 1936, 1957, 1986 and 1997, except for 1946 which saw decline, and enjoyed rapid growth particularly in the years of reform and opening-up after 1986. The changes reflect the national trendsustained decline of the proportion of net income from household operations versus eontinuous growth of the proportion wages income takes of the whole income.

China＇s Industrial Competitiveness and Evolving Trends on the World Market--- Analysis Based on Commodities Export Data

On the basis of classification of technology content for export goods＇, this＇ paper employs the latest trade statistics to examine the situation and evolving trend of China＇s industrial international competitiveness. Results indicate that.＂ （1） ranked by the order of low-, medium- and high-technology content, international competitiveness of China＇s industrial manufactured products is in a U-shaped distribution pattern; （2） distance between China＇s export advantage products and products with potentials is relatively small, which provides favorable micro-basis for steady transformation of export structure; （3） medium- and high-technology manufactured products including machinery and transport equipment will lead the upgrade of China＇s export,＂ and （4） countries in south Europe, transitional countries of the Central and Eastern Europe, and lndia will challenge China＇s leading position in low-technology products; China will compete with advanced countries of Europe in the area of medium-technology manufactured products and needs to catch up with and overtake the United States, and the developed economies in Europe and East Asia in the area of high-technology manufactured products. In order to enhance China＇s industrial international competitiveness, the government should pay great attention to the issue of the lack of competitiveness and low product density of medium-technology manufactured products, objectively view the dual effect of labor-intensive manufactured products in the upgrade of China＇s export structure, timely optimize policy portfolio for high-technology industries and give the highest priority to climbing up the value chain.
