Based on this method, the four proxy blind signature schemes are correspondently generated with four different signature equations, and each of them has four forms of variations of signs. Hence there are sixteen signatures in all, and all of them are proxy stronglyblind signature schemes. Furthermore, the two degenerated situations of multi-linear transform are discussed. Their corresponding proxy blind signature schemes are shown, too. But some schemes come from one of these degenerate situations are proxy weakly-blind signature scheme.The security for proposed scheme is analyzed in details. The results indicate that these signature schemes have many good properties such as unforgeability, distinguish-ability of proxy signature,non-repudiation and extensive value of application etc.展开更多

The noun and verb attributes of the 3 variants are recursiv...English gerund construction is a system composed of 3 variants, including "Gerund + Φ", "Gerund + of + NP", and "Gerund + NP". The noun and verb attributes of the 3 variants are recursive, and in theory their frequencies vary regularly in different styles. An abstract is placed before the beginning of an academic papers, which has the basic characteristics of conciseness and generalization, and has special requirements for the use of gerunds. The purpose of this study was to empirically explore the system of gerund construction in abstracts of natural science and social science papers, and to specifically explore the inherent characteristics of noun and verb properties of the 3 variants. For this purpose, two corpora were constructed, one is about abstracts of natural science papers, and the other is about abstracts of social science papers. Finally, the results of chi-square test showed that there was no significant difference in the frequencies of the 3 variants in the abstracts of natural science and social science papers, and the two corpora can be studied as a whole. In the combined corpus, there were significant differences in the frequencies of the 3 gerund variants. The frequencies of these 3 variants and their gerund properties showed a recursive change.展开更多
On the basis of our predecessors' research,we study the distribution and the space-time evolution characteristics of the seismic apparent strain field in Yunnan since the 1970's using the seismic data of Yunna...On the basis of our predecessors' research,we study the distribution and the space-time evolution characteristics of the seismic apparent strain field in Yunnan since the 1970's using the seismic data of Yunnan and its surrounding areas.The result shows that there is a rather strong corresponding relationship between the anomaly region of seismic apparent strain and strong earthquakes.In the nine earthquakes studied,anomaly areas of seismic apparent strain had appeared before eight earthquakes,including five occurring in the anomaly region and three on the edge.Finally,the investigative result is demonstrated primarily.展开更多
A novel traffic sign recognition system is presented in this work. Firstly, the color segmentation and shape classifier based on signature feature of region are used to detect traffic signs in input video sequences. S...A novel traffic sign recognition system is presented in this work. Firstly, the color segmentation and shape classifier based on signature feature of region are used to detect traffic signs in input video sequences. Secondly, traffic sign color-image is preprocessed with gray scaling, and normalized to 64×64 size. Then, image features could be obtained by four levels DT-CWT images. Thirdly, 2DICA and nearest neighbor classifier are united to recognize traffic signs. The whole recognition algorithm is implemented for classification of 50 categories of traffic signs and its recognition accuracy reaches 90%. Comparing image representation DT-CWT with the well-established image representation like template, Gabor, and 2DICA with feature selection techniques such as PCA, LPP, 2DPCA at the same time, the results show that combination method of DT-CWT and 2DICA is useful in traffic signs recognition. Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm is robust, effective and accurate.展开更多

The same localization wi...After infection and integration steps, HIV-1 transcriptions increase sharply and singly-spliced mRNAs are produced. These encode Env (gpl20 and gp41) and auxiliary proteins Vif, Vpr and VpU. The same localization within the unique structure of the mRNAs suggests that the VpU sequence prior to the Env could affect the Env polyprotein expression.The HIV-I infection process begins when the gpl20 subunit of the envelope glycoprotein complex interacts with its receptor(s) on the target cell. The V3 domain of gpl20 is the major determinant of cellular co-receptor binding. According to phenotypic information of HIVol isolates, sequences from the VpU to V3 regions (119 in R5- and 120 X4-tropic viruses; one per patient) were analysed. The binomial correlation phi coefficient was used to assess covariation among VpU and gpl20v3 signatures. Subsequently, average linkage hierarchical agglomerative clustering was performed. Beyond the classical V3 signatures (R5-viruses: SI1, E25D; X4-viruses: SllKR, E25KRQ), other specific V3 and novel VpU signatures were found to be statistically associated with co-receptor usage. Several statistically significant associations between V3 and VpU mutations were also observed. The dendrogram showed two distinct large clusters: one associated with R5-tropic sequences (bootstrap=0.94), involving: (a) H13NPv3, E25Dv3, Sllv3, T22Av3 and Q61Hvpu, (b) E25Av3 and L12Fvpu, (c) D44Evpu, R18Qv3 and D80Nvpu; and another associated with X4-tropic sequences (bootstrap=0.97), involving: (i) E25Iv3 and V10Avpu, (ii) 0-1insVvpc, H13Rv3, I46Lvpc, I30Mv3 and 60-62delvpu, (iii) SllKRv3 and E25KRQv3. Improving the level of intensive cultivated land use is an important measure to ensure food security and promote the sustainable development of the regional society and economy.Based on data from the statistical yearb...Improving the level of intensive cultivated land use is an important measure to ensure food security and promote the sustainable development of the regional society and economy.Based on data from the statistical yearbook of Maoming City and its counties and districts from 2005 to 2018 and the land use change database of Maoming City for 2018,this study constructed an evaluation index system for four aspects:cultivated land use intensity,cultivated land use degree,cultivated land output benefit and cultivated land sustainable use status.The level of intensive use of cultivated land in Maoming City from 2004 to 2017 was evaluated by AHP,the range method and the comprehensive evaluation model,and its temporal and spatial characteristics were evaluated.The results revealed three major points.(1)The intensive use of cultivated land in Maoming City in the past 14 years was good,and its level showed an overall upward trend,with the intensive use degree of cultivated land rising from 0.4045 in 2004 to 1.3148 in 2017.(2)The levels of intensive use of cultivated land in each county and district of Maoming City were generally on the rise,with no significant differences between them.However,according to the regional distribution,the intensive use level of cultivated land was highest in Maonan District,while it was relatively low in Dianbai County.The largest increase in the level of cultivated land intensive use was in Gaozhou,and the smallest was in Dianbai County.(3)According to the existing problems of cultivated land utilization in Maoming City,combined with the current international and domestic measures to effectively improve the level of intensive use of cultivated land,four suggestions are put forward:to improve the efficiency of cultivated land utilization and effectively protect basic farmland;to improve the overall urban planning and rationally adjust the layout of construction land;to raise farmers’awareness of the intensive use of cultivated land;and to increase agricultural investment and improve agricultural infrastructure.展开更多

Using a cryogenic scanning tunneling microscopy, we here report the signature of topologically nontrivial superconductivity on a single material of β-Bi_2Pd films grown by molecular beam epitaxy. The superconducting gap associated with spinless odd-parity pairing opens on the surface and appears much larger than the bulk one due to the Dirac-fermion enhanced parity mixing of surface pair potential. Zero bias conductance peaks, probably from Majorana zero modes supported by such superconducting states, are identified at magnetic vortices. The superconductivity exhibits resistance to nonmagnetic defects, characteristic of time-reversal-invariant topological superconductors. Our study reveals β-Bi_2Pd as a prime platform to generate, manipulate and braid Majorana zero modes for quantum computation.展开更多

Zhao Yingcheng (1619-1657), known as "The Great Advisor", is the only Kaifeng Jew who is mentioned both in the synagogal stele of 1663 and in Chinese gazetteers during his lifetime. Zhao, given the Hebrew name of ...Zhao Yingcheng (1619-1657), known as "The Great Advisor", is the only Kaifeng Jew who is mentioned both in the synagogal stele of 1663 and in Chinese gazetteers during his lifetime. Zhao, given the Hebrew name of Moshe ben Avram, was fluent in Hebrew but also achieved success as a Confucian scholar familiar with the Chinese classics. He would have witnessed the destruction of his hometown by a catastrophic flood during the 1642 Siege of Kaifeng. In 1645, at the age of 26, he attained the jinshi rank in the Imperial Exams, in which only one in 10,000 can- didates was successful. A year later, he was appointed Minister of Justice for the newly installed Qing Dynasty and supervised the controversial decree forcing the Manchu tonsure onto the Han population as a mark of submission. In 1647, he was sent as an envoy to quell the unrest in Fujian province. After defeating bands of violent warlords funded by the notorious pirate Koxinga, Zhao set up a system of public schools to provide greater economic opportunity for the poor. After the death of his father, Zhao returned to Kaifeng for the three-year mourning period; during that time, he funded the restoration of the synagogue, which had been destroyed in the deluge, and the rectification of the Torah scrolls damaged in that catastrophe. Though the biographical facts are sparse, when these are juxtaposed with the dra- matic events that unfolded during his short lifetime, the potential for a fascinating historical fictionalization emerges. Moreover, many of those historical events in seventeenth-century China--climate change, elite corruption, populist revolt, xenophobia, terrorism, law and order, etc.--resonate with contemporary tropes. The story of "The Great Advisor" shows how a Jew in seventeenth-century China rose to national prominence at a time when Jews in Europe faced severe discrimination and persecution.展开更多
Steady shear flows of dense athermal systems composed of soft disks are investigated via non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations, from which we sort out links among the structure, dynamics, and shear rheology. ...Steady shear flows of dense athermal systems composed of soft disks are investigated via non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations, from which we sort out links among the structure, dynamics, and shear rheology. The systems at rest are jammed packings of frictionless disks with a nonzero yield stress. Driven by low shear rates, the flows shear thin due to the presence of the nonzero yield stress, but transit to shear thickening above a crossover shear rate γc - At γc, we observe the strongest struc- tural anisotropy in the pair distribution function, which serves as the structural signature of the shear thinning-thickening tran- sition. We also observe dynamical signatures associated with the transition: At γc , scaling behaviors of both the mean squared displacement and relaxation time undergo apparent changes. By performing a simple energy analysis, we reveal an underlying condition for the shear thickening to occur: d(lnTg)/d(Inγ) 〉 2 with Tg the kinetic temperature.
