A crystal plasticity finite element model was developed for the drawing deformation of pure copper micro wire,based on rate-dependent crystal plasticity theory.The impact of wire diameter compression ratio on the micro-mechanical deformation behavior during the wire drawing process was investigated.Results indicate that the internal deformation and slip of the drawn wire are unevenly distributed,forming distinct slip and non-slip zones.Additionally,horizontal strain concentration bands develop within the drawn wire.As the wire diameter compression ratio increases,the strength of the slip systems and the extent of slip zones inside the deformation zone also increase.However,the fluctuating stress state,induced by contact pressure and frictional stress,results in a rough and uneven wire surface and diminishes the stability of the drawing process. 展开更多

Numerical Analysis of Finite Deformation of Overbroken Rock Mass in Gob Area Based on Euler Model of Control Volume 被引量:10

The overbroken rock mass of gob areas is made up of broken and accumulated rock blocks compressed to some extent by the overlying strata. The beating pressure of the gob can directly affect the safety of mining fields, formarion of road retained along the next goaf and seepage of water and methane through the gob. In this paper, the software RFPA'2000 is used to construct numerical models. Especially the Euler method of control volume is proposed to solve the simulation difficulty arising from plastically finite deformations. The results show that three characteristic regions occurred in the gob area: (1) a naturally accumulated region, 0-10 m away from unbroken surrounding rock walls, where the beating pressure is nearly zero; (2) an overcompacted region, 10-20 m away from unbroken walls, where the beating pressure results in the maximum value of the gob area; (3) a stable compaction region, more than 20 m away from unbroken walls and occupying absolutely most of the gob area, where the beating pressures show basically no differences. Such a characteristic can exolain the easy-seeoaged “O”-ring phenomena around mining fields very well. 展开更多

Mechanical properties, corrosion behavior and hydrogen absorption of zirconium alloys are related to the texture resulting from prior forming processes. In order to investigate the high temperature deformation behavior of α-Zr, compression tests at 700 ℃, microstructure measurements via EBSD, and visco-plastic self-consistent modeling were performed. Twinning activity was negligible at strain rates ε≤1s^-1. The strain rate sensitivity m=0.17 seemed to be the same for all slip modes. Material parameters were fitted to reproduce the mechanical anisotropy and deformed texture, and were validated by comparing the simulated and measured strain anisotropy. The best-fit simulation showed that at high temperatures prismatic slip was the easiest deformation mode and pyramidal <c+a> was the hardest, but basal slip and pyramidal slip operated easily and in large amount. 展开更多

The techniques of stress relief mining in low-permeability coal seams and pillarless gob side retained roadway entry using Y-type ventilation and gas drainage systems were developed to control gas outbursts and applied successfully. However, as the mining depth increasing, parts of the gas drainage system are not suitable for mines with high gas emissions. Because larger mining depths cause higher ground stresses, it becomes extremely difficult to maintain long gob side roadways. The greater deformation suffered by the roadway is not favorable lor borehole drilling for continuous gas drainage. To solve these problems, Y-type ventilation and gas drainage systems installed from a roof roadway were designed for drainage optimization. This system was designed based on a gas-enrichment zone analysis developed from mining the 11-2 coal seam in the Zhuji Mine at Huainan, Anhui Province, China. The method of Y-type gas extraction from different mine areas was applied to the panel 1112(1) in the Zhuji Mine. The absolute gas emission rate was up to 116.3 m^3/min with an average flow of 69.1 m^3/min at an average drainage concentration of nearly 85 %. After the Y-type method was adopted, the concentration of gas in the return air was 0.15 %-0.64 %, averaging 0.39 % with a ventilation rate of 2100-2750 m^3/min. The gas management system proved to be efficient, and the effective gas control allowed safe production to continue . 展开更多

A goal of transfer pricing may be to maximize after tax revenue by setting transfer prices that reduce the total tax paid. "Transfer pricing" is the pricing of products or services provided by one division to other division of the same corporate entity. Most of the corporate entities are using the method of "Window dressing", which is a technique used in preparation of financial statements of corporate entities. A transnational corporation is any enterprise that undertakes Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), owns or controls income gathering assets in more than one country, produces goods or services outsides its country of origin, or engages in international production. Profitability of the transnational corporate entities is being manipulated by the technique of transfer pricing. Abuse of transfer prices is a key tool used by the corporate entities to think that they have virtually no profit; hence, they shouldn't pay any taxes. India needs to realize the fundamental need for co-operation among tax administrations in order to remove the obstacles that international double taxation presents to the free movement of goods, services and capital between various countries. In this context, one needs to consider that transactions among associated enterprises may take place under different conditions from those taking place among independent enterprises, while enforcing the act of transfer price mechanism. This paper focuses on transfer pricing and its implications in transnational transactions. 展开更多

The Shigujian pluton is a gneissic quartz monzonite located in Tiantangzhai area in central part of the Dabie orogen.Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMS) data show that most magnetic foliations dip steeply to southeast.About 85% of sampling points dip from 40° to 90°.Magnetic foliations are generally parallel to the foliations measured in the field.The pluton has NWW-SEE trending lineations in the southeast and NE-SW trending lineations in central part and north,but the lineations plunge to SW in central part and to NE in the north.All plunges are moderate.The anisotropy degree(P) is between 1.065 and 1.532 and the shape parameter(T) is between 0.005 and 0.694.A Flinn diagram of the magnetic fabrics shows that the value of K is less than 1.The analysis of AMS suggests that the pluton was emplaced and deformed under a SE-NW compressional stress regime.The analysis of quartz C-axis fabrics indicates that the pluton was deformed under compressional stress and deformation temperatures range from 400 to 500℃.Microstructures indicate that the pluton is deformed in near solidus conditions and the pluton is a synkinematic intrusion.The emplacement of the Shigujian granite is inferred to have taken place syntectonically.The zircon U-Pb dating of the granite suggests that the pluton was intruded at 141±2.3 Ma.By synthesizing all data,it seems that the Shigujian pluton was emplaced in a compressional environment and the transformation time of the Dabie orogen from compression to extension took place after 141 Ma.The structural evolution of the Dabie orogen was controlled by the Pacific tectonic domain when the Shigujian pluton was emplaced,whereas the adjacent Tiantangzhai complex massif is the result of an extensional environment. 展开更多

The deformable mirror utilizes the concept of magnetic fluid deformation shaped with electromagnetic fields to achieve concave or convex surface and to change the optical focus depth of the mirrors. The free surface of the magnetic fluid is coated with a thin layer of metal-liquid-like film(MELLF) prepared from densely packed silver nanoparticles to enhance the reflectance of the deformable mirror. The experimental results on the fabricated prototype magnetic fluid deformable mirror(MFDM) show that the desired concave/convex surface shape can be controlled precisely with a closed-loop adaptive optical system. 展开更多
