The results show that when the solid solution was held at 560 ℃ for 6 h, only partial Si phase dissolved into the matrix; however, the precipitation also occurred during the artificial aging process. The precipitation process in Al-Si alloys with or without La-modification was compared. After modification and heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the alloy were greatly enhanced, due to the modification and uniform distribution of Si phase.展开更多

In the first scheme, two partial entangled four-particle states are used as quantum channels, while in the second scheme,four non-maximally entangled particle pairs are considered as quantum channels. It is shown that the teleportation can be successfully realized with certain probability, for both schemes, if a receiver adopts some appropriate unitary transformations. A signal pre-processing method based on optimal variational mode decomposition(OVMD)is proposed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of local data filtering and analysis of edge nodes in distributed electromechanica...A signal pre-processing method based on optimal variational mode decomposition(OVMD)is proposed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of local data filtering and analysis of edge nodes in distributed electromechanical systems.Firstly,the singular points of original signals are eliminated effectively by using the first-order difference method.Then the OVMD method is applied for signal modal decomposition.Furthermore,correlation analysis is conducted to determine the degree of correlation between each mode and the original signal,so as to accurately separate the real operating signal from noise signal.On the basis of theoretical analysis and simulation,an edge node pre-processing system for distributed electromechanical system is designed.Finally,by virtue of the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and root-mean-square error(RMSE)indicators,the signal pre-processing effect is evaluated.The experimental results show that the OVMD-based edge node pre-processing system can extract signals with different characteristics and improve the SNR of reconstructed signals.Due to its high fidelity and reliability,this system can also provide data quality assurance for subsequent system health monitoring and fault diagnosis.展开更多
There has been a strong interest in the use of Phase Change Materials (PCMs) for the transient thermal abatement of high powered microprocessor.This paper presents a set of transient computational analysis for selecte...There has been a strong interest in the use of Phase Change Materials (PCMs) for the transient thermal abatement of high powered microprocessor.This paper presents a set of transient computational analysis for selected IC packages with the purpose of calibrating the merits of PCM in different configurations.The transient analysis of high powered microprocessors with heat sinks was performed as a benchmark for comparison with the same microprocessors fitted with PCM in the following configurations:a) PCM imbedded into the finned region of the heat sink,b) PCM mounted between the microprocessor and heat sink,c) sealed PCM underfill to the microprocessor and d) PCM fitted to the underside of the printed circuit board directly beneath the microprocessor.The analysis was performed using a commercial CFD tool together with an approximation to the phase change mechanism using the slope method.Results indicate the merit of each configuration.展开更多
