Switch states of MC are obtained when the output voltage error function is minimized, thus the optimum combination of switch states is derived for the closed-loop control of MC. Meanwhile, advantages of the least calculation workload, the simple process, and the convenient for implementation are brought while switch states are described as space vectors in the α-β coordination system. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the validity of the time-discrete modulation technique and the feasibility of the control approach.展开更多

Several coaxial resonators including the empty coaxial cavity, re-enrant coaxial cavity and partially stepped resonator are studied with this method, especially the spurious mode resonant frequencies of coaxial cavi- ties. The numerical results thus obtained are shown to be in excellent agreement with those obtainable through rigorous theoretical solutions and experiment results.展开更多

To enhance DE, it is necessary to handle discrete design variables. In this paper, a discrete differential evolution (DDE) algorithm is proposed to handle discrete design variables The proposed DDE is based on the DE/l/rand/bin method. In the proposed DDE, the mutation ratio is regarded as the exchange probability, and thus, no modifications of DE/l/rand/bin are required. In addition, in order to maintain diversity through the search process, we initialize all search points. By introducing the initialization of all search points, global or quasi-optimum solution can be found. We validate the proposed DDE by applying it to several benchmark problems.展开更多

The fuzzy logical system is used so that the fuzzy inference rule is transferred into a type of variable coefficient nonlinear ordinary differential equation. Consequently the model of the chaotic system is obtained. Then a fuzzy tracking control and a fuzzy synchronization for chaotic systems is proposed as well. First, a known tracking control for the Rossler’s system is used in this paper. We represent the Rossler’s chaotic and control systems into fuzzy inference rules. Then the variable coefficient nonlinear ordinary differential equation is also got. Simulation results show that such an approach is effective and has a high precision.展开更多

In this study, a new denoising method is proposed for removing such kind of noise by smoothing spectral signals in the transformed multi- scale domain. Specifically, the proposed method includes three procedures: 1 ) applying a discrete wavelet transform (DWT) to each band; 2) performing cubic spline smoothing on each noisy coeffi- cient vector along the spectral axis; 3 ) reconstructing each band by an inverse DWT. In order to adapt to the band-varying noise statistics of HSIs, the noise covariance is estimated to control the smoothing degree at different spectra| positions. Generalized cross validation (GCV) is employed to choose the smoothing parameter during the optimization. The experimental results on simulated and real HSIs demonstrate that the proposed method can be well adapted to band-varying noise statistics of noisy HSIs and also can well preserve the spectral and spatial features.展开更多
