省域水资源可持续利用效率分析 被引量:19

我国正面临着严峻的水资源短缺、水质恶化和水生态退化问题,高效、可持续地利用水资源至关重要。为了通过省域之间的相互比较来提高我国省域水资源可持续利用效率,本文从水资源可持续利用的基本要求出发,以国土面积和Ⅲ类以下水资源量... 我国正面临着严峻的水资源短缺、水质恶化和水生态退化问题,高效、可持续地利用水资源至关重要。为了通过省域之间的相互比较来提高我国省域水资源可持续利用效率,本文从水资源可持续利用的基本要求出发,以国土面积和Ⅲ类以下水资源量为投入变量,以地区生产总值和人口数量为产出变量,应用DEA(BCC)-Tobit两步法测算了中国26个省域水资源可持续利用相对效率,分析了影响省域水资源可持续利用效率的关键因素。结果表明,规模偏大与不合理用水导致我国省域水资源的可持续利用效率总体较低,综合效率均值为0.303,纯技术效率均值为0.592,规模效率均值为0.513。水资源可持续利用效率的省际差异很大,综合效率值的变异系数达1.010,效率提升的潜力很大。第一产业增加值占地区生产总值的比重、单位国土面积环保投资额和耕地占国土面积比重是影响省域水资源可持续利用效率的3个关键因素,影响系数依次为0.015 7、0.014 2和0.004 9。综合分析可知,在充分保护和持续利用耕地的基础上推进工业化、城镇化和农业现代化,调整经济发展结构,加大环保投资有利于提高省域水资源可持续利用效率。 展开更多

Rainwater harvesting RWH has yet to see significant uptake in UK households primarily due to a lack of innovation in residential RWH system types.This ppa er presents the results of per liminary investigations into a range of traditional and innovative residential-scale RWH systems. These systems are examined using a patent application search informal interviews with industry professionals cost-benefit analysis and a simple multi criteria analysis MCA .The latter examines the sustainability of the systems based on a priori social economic and ne vironmenat l criteria.Two of the innovative systems are subject to a more detailed analysis and benchmarked agains ta rt aditional system.Results of the MCA indicate that the innovative RWH systems achieve better sustainability scores than the traditional RWH with a lower capital cost.Further research is focused on monitoring the identified systems to generate empir cal datasets in order to undertake the WLC/LCAs and to identify challenges associated with installation. 展开更多

Improving Water Use Efficiency for a Sustainable Productivity of Agricultural Systems Using Subsurface Drip Irrigation 被引量:1

The sustainability of agricultural production depends on conservation and appropriate use and management of scarce water resources especially in arid and semi-arid areas where irrigation is required for the production of food and cash crops. The objective of this paper was to evaluate the effects of surface and subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) at 5, 20 and 35 cm depths on water's dynamic in soil (Soil moisture distribution, water's stock in soil and irrigation water use efficiency) to produce maize in semiarid climates. Field study was conducted at the Higher Institute of Agronomy of Chott Meriem, Tunisia. The results indicated that soil moisture content under subsurface drip irrigation at 35 cm (T3) depth was more uniform compared to 5 cm (T1) and 20 cm (T2). Moreover, irrigation water use efficiency was higher in this treatment. Indeed, it increased about 18%, 14% and 7% for T3, T2 and T1, respectively when compared with surface drip irrigation. The results of the present study showed that SDI allows uniform soil moisture, minimize the evaporative loss and delivery water directly to the plant root zone and consequently increases use efficiency. Further research is needed in order to determine whether corn production with SDI is feasible in the arid region. 展开更多

Evolved Urban Form to Respond to Extreme Sea Level Events in Coastal Cities

Along with climate change and global warming, ESLEs (extreme sea level events) are seriously threatening coastal cities' development. In order to respond to such events, transformational adaptation strategy in urban planning might play an important role. For instance, it has been proposed that BCR (building coverage ratio) should be minimized to a certain range in order to enhance coastal areas' resiliency. For the purpose of urban planning practices, the main objective of this research is to develop a method which could formulate the proper BCR range in vulnerable coastal areas. The research is conducted through simulating storm surge floods in simplified waterfront settlements with different BCRs. Data representing the impact of ESLEs collected through CFD (computational fluid dynamic) simulations has been examined. This research has proved that in dense coastal areas, ESLEs may cause serious damage to the built environment if their protective structures fail. It showed that controlling BCR is an effective way to enhance their resiliency. When the BCR is low, the pressure caused by storm surge floods and wave height can be greatly reduced. However, decreased BCR may also reduce land utilization efficiency. Simulation results indicated that controlling the BCR to around 36% might be the most effective scenario which balances resiliency and land use efficiency. They also showed that under the same storm surge flood scenario, the pressures caused by flood waves could be reduced if the length of the building is increased. This study might be considered as transformational adaptation measures that contributes some knowledge for waterfront development in vulnerable locations, and it also provides scientific and useful proof for sustainable strategies in coastal cities and reveals that particular urban design tools, such as BCR control, could play an essential role in responding to ESLEs. 展开更多
