Through empirical research, this paper delves into the intricate relationships among enterprise dynamic capabilities, digital transformation, and innovation performance, as well as their impacts on the sustainable development of manufacturing enterprises. The study reveals that digital transformation not only directly influences enterprise innovation performance but also indirectly fosters its enhancement by enhancing firms’ absorptive capacity, integration capabilities, and organizational transformational capabilities. Notably, enterprise dynamic capabilities play a prominent intermediary role in the process of digital transformation, particularly absorptive and integration capabilities, which are instrumental in enabling enterprises to swiftly respond to market changes and achieve innovation goals. Although organizational transformational capability exhibits a relatively smaller intermediary effect, its positive influence on enterprise innovation performance remains significant. Consequently, this paper offers a series of recommendations, including strengthening the application and innovation of digital technologies, nurturing and enhancing dynamic capabilities, promoting organizational structural reforms, constructing an open innovation ecosystem, attending to market environment adaptability in the post-pandemic era, and continuously monitoring and evaluating innovation performance. These strategies aim to assist enterprises in leveraging the opportunities presented by digital transformation, enhancing their innovation performance, and ultimately achieving sustainable development.展开更多
