一种采用分步式可校准直方图的dTOF探测器

基于0.18μm互补金属氧化物半导体器件工艺实现了一种高分辨率、大动态范围的三段式混合结构单光子直接飞行时间(dTOF)探测器,并提出一种应用于飞行时间峰值提取的分步式可校准直方图算法,以降低光噪声和探测器抖动等非理想因素对测距... 基于0.18μm互补金属氧化物半导体器件工艺实现了一种高分辨率、大动态范围的三段式混合结构单光子直接飞行时间(dTOF)探测器,并提出一种应用于飞行时间峰值提取的分步式可校准直方图算法,以降低光噪声和探测器抖动等非理想因素对测距精度的影响。测试结果表明,dTOF探测器实现了130 ps时间分辨率和258 ns动态范围,差分非线性度(DNL)和积分非线性度(INL)均小于±0.98 LSB(1 LSB=130 ps)。采用分步式可校准直方图算法处理dTOF探测器读出的16 bit TOF数据,峰值提取精度达到99.9%,相较于部分帧间直方图方案,峰值提取速率有一定的提升;所需数据存储容量仅为256 bit,为完整帧间直方图(CIFH)方案的1/2048。采用该新型直方图算法的dTOF探测器不但分辨率高、动态范围大,而且存储容量小、速率快、误差小,可应用于低成本、高精度的激光雷达测距系统。 展开更多

The target reliability indices of the foundation structures of sea-crossing bridges on the serviceability limit state (SLS) are different from those of common bridges due to their different surroundings. Consequently, three levels of the target reliability indices, which are 1.5, 2. 0 and 2. 3, respectively, for those structures on the SLS are suggested based on the Joint Committee on Structural Safety (JCSS) model code, and a new method of calibrating factors of live loads, which is based on the contribution ratio of tensile stresses of reinforcing bars produced by various loads to the maximum crack width of concrete, is proposed. Finally, the calibration of the reliability-based factors of the frequent value and the quasi-permanent value of live loads is conducted by the Joint Committee (JC) method through an actual design, and the indices are proved to be reasonable and the new method is proved to be feasible. 展开更多

The automatic all-sky imager developed by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,provides all-sky visible images in the red,green,and blue channels.This paper presents three major cali-bration experiments of the all-sky imager,geometric an-gular calibration,optical calibration,and radiometric calibration,and then infers an algorithm to retrieve rela-tive radiance from the all-sky images.Field experiments show that the related coefficient between retrieved radi-ance and measured radiance is about 0.91.It is feasible to use the algorithm to retrieve radiance from images.The paper sets up a relationship between radiance and the im-age,which is useful for using the all-sky image in nu-merical-simulations that predict more meteorological pa-rameters. 展开更多

A Model-calibration Approach to Using Complete Auxiliary Information from Stratified Sampling Survey Data

One of the fundamental questions is how to effectively use the complete auxiliary information at the estimation stage. In this paper, we extend the model-calibration method to obtain estimators of the finite population mean by using complete auxiliary information from stratified sampling survey data. We show that the resulting estimators effectively use auxiliary information at the estimation stage and possess a number of attractive features such as asymptotically design-unbiased irrespective of the working model and approximately model-unbiased under the model. When a linear working-model is used, the resulting estimators reduce to the usual calibration estimator(or GREG). 展开更多

An accurate frequency response characterization method for photoreceivers with optical heterodyne technique is presented in this paper.The characterization is implemented with two single-mode tunable lasers operating near the wavelength of 1.55 μm.The errors introduced by extra fixtures as well as laser output fluctuations are considered and calibrated simultaneously.Compared with previous works,the proposed calibration procedures are more complete.Experimental results indicate that the significant improvement in measurement precision has been achieved with the proposed method in the frequency range from 0 to 30 GHz,which proves the proposed frequency response characterization method to be feasible and reliable. 展开更多
