新型双叶轮浮选机离心叶轮结构设计与优化

通过有机结合离心叶轮与搅拌叶轮,前期设计了2+1结构模式的双叶轮控制系统浮选机。为了进一步优化双叶轮浮选机搅拌系统,设计了不同结构离心叶轮,分别对使用不同离心叶轮时浮选机充气、水力空化和磷矿浮选分选性能进行了研究。试验结果... 通过有机结合离心叶轮与搅拌叶轮,前期设计了2+1结构模式的双叶轮控制系统浮选机。为了进一步优化双叶轮浮选机搅拌系统,设计了不同结构离心叶轮,分别对使用不同离心叶轮时浮选机充气、水力空化和磷矿浮选分选性能进行了研究。试验结果表明,浮选机的充气、空化性能与离心叶轮的结构特征有关。大叶轮直径和套筒结构有利于增大浮选机的充气量,直叶片中空轴打孔结构有利于增大离心叶轮水力空化强度。通过细粒难选胶磷矿浮选试验,发现分选性能受离心叶轮结构特征影响较大,叶轮直径较大、直叶片、带套筒、中空轴上部打孔的离心叶轮获得的浮选分离效果较好。与常规机械搅拌自吸式浮选机相比,双叶轮控制系统浮选机具有较好的分选性能,在最优条件下,浮选精矿P_(2)O_(5)的品位、回收率、选矿效率分别可以提高1.44、8.95和5.12个百分点。 展开更多

To solve the problem of advanced digital manufacturing technology in the practical application, a knowledge engineering technology was introduced into the computer numerical control(CNC) programming. The knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation and reasoning used in CNC programming were researched. The CNC programming system functional architecture of impeller parts based on knowledge based engineering(KBE) was constructed. The structural model of the general knowledge-based system(KBS) was also constructed. The KBS of CNC programming system was established through synthesizing database technology and knowledge base theory. And in the context of corporate needs, based on the knowledge-driven manufacturing platform(i.e. UG CAD/CAM), VC++6.0 and UG/Open, the KBS and UG CAD/CAM were integrated seamlessly and the intelligent CNC programming KBE system for the impeller parts was developed by integrating KBE and UG CAD/CAM system. A method to establish standard process templates was proposed, so as to develop the intelligent CNC programming system in which CNC machining process and process parameters were standardized by using this KBE system. For the impeller parts processing, the method applied in the development of the prototype system is proven to be viable, feasible and practical. 展开更多

To address this problem, the computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT was applied to establish three-dimensional model of the centrifugal fan. The numeral model was verified by comparing simulation data to experimental data. The pressure centrifugal fan and the speed changes in distribution in centrifugal fan was simulated by computational fluid dynamics soft-ware FLUENT. The simulation results show that the gas flow velocity in the impeller increases with impeller radius increase. Static pressure gradually increases when gas from the fan access is imported through fan impeller leaving fans. 展开更多

An Automated Ultrasonic NDT System for In-Situ Inspection of Wind Turbine Blades

It is crucial to maintain wind turbine blades regularly, due to the high stress leading to defects or damage. Conventional methods require shipping the blades to a workshop for off-site inspection, which is extremely time-consuming and very costly. This work investigates the use of pulse-echo ultrasound to detect internal damages in wind turbine blades without the necessity to ship the blades off-site. A prototype 2D ultrasonic NDT (non-destructive testing) system has been developed and optimised for in-situ wind turbine blade inspection. The system is designed to be light weight so it can be easily carried by an inspector onto the wind turbine blade for in-situ inspection. It can be operated in 1D A-scan, 2D C-scan or 3D volume scan. A software system has been developed to control the automated scanning and show the damage areas in a 2D/3D map with different colours so that the inspector can easily identify the defective areas. Experiments on GFRP (glass fibre reinforced plastics) and wind turbine blades (made of GFRP) samples showed that internal defects can be detected. The main advantages of this system are fully automated 2D spatial scanning and the ability to alert the user to the damage of the inspected sample. It is intended to be used for in-situ inspection to save maintenance time and hence considered to be economically beneficial for the wind energy industry. 展开更多

On the basis of the three-dimensional design platform of the mixed-flow pump impellers, an optimization design system was developed in this paper by improving the genetic algorithm with application of both strategies of keeping the optimal individu- al and employing the niche. This system took the highest efficiency of the impeller as the optimization objective and employed P, a0, A0h and A0t, which could directly affect the shape and the position of the blade, as optimization parameters. In addition, loss model was used to obtain fast and accurate prediction of the impeller efficiency. The optimization results illustrated that this system had advantages such as high accuracy and fine convergence, thus to effectively improve the design of the mixed-flow pump impellers. Numerical simulation was applied to determine the internal flow fields of the impeller obtained by optimization design, and to analyze both the relative velocity and the pressure distributions. The test results demonstrated that the mixed flow pump had the highest efficiency of 87.2%, the wide and flat high efficiency operation zone, the relatively wide range of blade angle adjustment, fine cavitation performance and satisfied stability. 展开更多

Minipump is widely used in microfluidics system, active cooling system, etc. But building a high efficiency minipump is still a challenging problem. In this paper, a systematic method was developed to design, characterize and optimize a particular mechanical minipump. The optimization work was conducted to cope with the conflict between pressure head and hydraulic efficiency by an improved back-propagation neural network (BPNN) with the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II (NSGA-II). The improved BPNN was utilized to predicate hydraulic performance and, moreover, was modified to improve the prediction accuracy. The NSGA-II was processed for minipump multi-objective optimization which is dominated by four impeller dimensions. During hydraulic optimization, the processing feasibility was also taken into consideration. Experiments were conducted to validate the above optimization methods. It was proved that the optimized minipump was improved by about 24 % in pressure head and 4.75 % in hydraulic efficiency compared to the original designed prototype. Meanwhile, the sensitivity test was used to analyze the influence of the four impeller dimensions. It was found that the blade outlet angle β2 and the impeller inlet diameter Do significantly influence the pressure head H and the hydraulic efficiency η, respec- tively. Detailed internal flow fields showed that the optimum model can relieve the impeller wake and improve both the pressure distribution and flow orientation. 展开更多

The efficient heat exchanging near the surface of a blade may be achieved by forcing a cooling air flow emitting out of a thin layer of the porous metal which is pasted on the structural high strength metal. The contents include the consideration on the computational model of heat transfer through a layer of porous material, the concrete modeling and the analysis of the model, the numerical survey of key parameters for both the two-layer porous materials and the heat transfer fluid flow passing through the model channels.
