Integrins offers a platform on which mechanical stimuli, cytoskeletal organization, biochemical signals can concentrate. Mechanical stimuli transmitted by integrins influence the cytoskeleton, in turn, the cytoskeleton influences cell adhesion via integrins, then cell adhesion results in a series of signal transduction cascades. In skeleton, integrins also have a key role for bone resoption by osteoclasts and reformation by osteoblasts. In present review, the proteins involved in integrin signal transduction and integrin signal transduction pathways were discussed, mainly on the basic mechanisms of integrin signaling and the roles of integrins in bone signal transduction, which may give insight into new therapeutic agents to all kinds of skeletal diseases and new strategies for bone tissue engineering.展开更多

With the equation of state (EOS) solved self-consistently, we discuss the properties of neutron stars. We find that the EOS of pure hadron matter with condensed K- phase should be ruled out by the redshift for star EX00748-676, while EOS containing unpaired quark matter phase with B1/4 being about 180 MeV could be consistent with both this observation and the best measured mass of star PSR 1913 + 16. But if the recent inferred massive star among Terzan 5 with M 〉 1.68M is confirmed, all the present EOSes with condensed phase and deconfined phase would be ruled out.展开更多

Methods We identified 1229 patients ag...Objective To compare hospital costs and clinical outcomes between transradial intervention (TRI) and transfemoral intervention (TFI) in elderly patients aged over 65 years. Methods We identified 1229 patients aged over 65 years who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in Fuwai Hospital, Beijing, China, between January 1 and December 31, 2010. Total hospital costs and in-hospital outcomes were compared between TRI and TFI. An inverse probability weighting (IPW) model was introduced to control potential biases. Results Patients who underwent TRI were younger, less often female, more likely to receive PCI for single-vessel lesions, and less likely to undergo the procedure for ostial lesions. TRI was associated with a cost saving of CNY7495 (95%CI: CNY4419-10 420). Such differences were mainly driven by lower PCI-related costs. TRI patients had shorter length of stay (1.9 days, 95%CI: 1.1-2.7 days), shorter post-procedural stay (0.7 days, 95%CI: 0.3-1.1 days), and fewer major adverse cardiac events (adjusted odds ratio = 0.47, 95%CI: 0.31-0.73). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of post-PCI bleeding between TRI and TFI (P〉0.05). Such differences remained consistent in clinically relevant subgroups of acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, and stable angina. Conclusion The use of TRI in patients aged over 65 years was associated with significantly reduced hospital costs and more favorable clinical outcomes.展开更多
Objective:To study the efficacy and safety of hepatic arterial infusion of Endostatin(YH-16,Endostar),combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) on advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:Thirty pa...Objective:To study the efficacy and safety of hepatic arterial infusion of Endostatin(YH-16,Endostar),combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) on advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:Thirty patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma were enrolled in the study.The patients received hepatic arterial infusion of Endostar combined with TACE.The efficacy was evaluated strictly after 1-2 cycles according to RECIST criteria and the value of AFP;quality of life(QOL) was evaluated according to Karnofsky scores.Adverse effects were evaluated too.Results:29 cases' efficacy was evaluated among the total 30 cases.The KPS were significantly increased after the treatment(80.39 ± 8.37 vs 73.93 ± 9.22,P = 0.002).Compared with control group,the objective response rate(CR and PR) and the rate of AFP negative changed were significantly higher(P = 0.021,P = 0.046).The adverse effects were not obvious.Conclusion:The QOL and preliminary efficiency of patients of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma may be improved by hepatic arterial infusion of Endostar combined with TACE,the rate of AFP negative changed were significantly higher too,and there are little of adverse effects.It is worthy to clinical generalization and further clinical observation.展开更多
Achieving common prosperity is the essential requirement of Chinese modernization,and the integration of culture and tourism is of great significance as an important path to narrow the regional gap,and effectively“im...Achieving common prosperity is the essential requirement of Chinese modernization,and the integration of culture and tourism is of great significance as an important path to narrow the regional gap,and effectively“improve quality”and“increase income”.This study used the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2019,and conducted empirical tests by using the panel fixed effects model and the mediation effects model.The results indicated that the integration of culture and tourism can significantly promote the realization of common prosperity.This integration can promote common prosperity by increasing the income and consumption level of urban and rural residents,the degree of equalization of basic public services and the capacity for sustainable development.Spatial analysis shows that there are regional differences in the promotion of common prosperity by cultural and tourism integration,which is particularly obvious in ethnic and non-ethnic areas.Finally,in response to the existing problems identified in the above analyses,countermeasure recommendations that align with the actual development are put forward.展开更多

The reactio...Employing triflic anhydride/2-fluoropyridine as an activation system, the coupling reactions of secondary N-aryl amides with terminal alkynes yielded substituted quinolines in moderate to excellent yields. The reaction tolerated both electron-donating and electron-withdrawing groups at the benzamide moiety. Electron-rich aryl acetylenes served as excellent coupling partners, and aliphatic terminal alkynes such as cyclopropyl and conjugate vinyl acetylenes could also be used as reaction partners. By means of 2 D NMR techniques(heteronuclear multiple bond correlation(HMBC), heteronuclear single quantum correlation(HSQC)),nitrilium ions were probed as reactive intermediates which are in contrast with that suggested by Movassaghi on the basis of in situ IR monitoring experiments. On the basis of these results, a plausible mechanism for the formation of quinolines was suggested.展开更多
