Organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs)have important applications in the field of next-generation displays and lighting,and phosphorescent iridium complexes are an important class of electroluminescent phosphorescent ma...Organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs)have important applications in the field of next-generation displays and lighting,and phosphorescent iridium complexes are an important class of electroluminescent phosphorescent materials.In this paper,Ir(bmppy)_(3),tris(4-methyl-2,5-diphenylpyridine)iridium,was synthesized and elvaluted for photo-physical characteristics.Single crystals suitale for X-ray diffraction(XRD)were grown from a mixture solvent of dichloromethane and absolute ethanol.The composition and structur of Ir(bmppy)_(3)were determined by element analysis,NMR spectra and XRD.The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic symmetry with the space group P21/c with a slightly distorted octahedral configuration.As measured by UV-Visible and photoluminescence spectra,Ir(bmppy)_(3) displays a maximum emission at at 527 nm at ambient temperature,a typical green-emitting profile.The complex has potential for application in the OLED industry.展开更多
The parameters of fluorescence induction kinetics and the maximal light-saturated net CO2 assimilation rate (P-sat) of the flag leaves of four cultivars of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were compared at three di...The parameters of fluorescence induction kinetics and the maximal light-saturated net CO2 assimilation rate (P-sat) of the flag leaves of four cultivars of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were compared at three different developing stages for the first time. From the blooming stage to the milky stage, the quantum efficiency of PS II photochemistry (F-v/F-m) declined slightly only at the milk stage. The photochemical quenching co-efficient (qP), actual quantum yield of photosystem II (PS II)electron transport (Phi (PSII)) and P-sat decreased substantially (> 15%), while the non-photochemical quenching co-efficient (qN) increased significantly (> 100%). There existed a linear correlation between the Phi (PSII) and the P-sat (r = 0.918). The results indicate that with the senescence of the flag leaves of winter wheat the photosynthetic efficiency including that of the energy transport and the CO2 assimilation significantly decreased.展开更多

However, in this report, we showed that both PS II and PS I could be formed in dark-grown lotus (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) seedlings. Lots of evidence were given: First I during the dark-grown period, the single fluorescence emission peak at 679 nm in lotus embryo red-shifted and transformed into the normal PS II fluorescence emission; Simultaneously, PS I fluorescence emission at 730 nm appeared and increased obviously; Second, with partial denaturing SDS-PAGE method, PS I chlorophyll-protein complex could be clearly separated from 10 days dark-grown lotus seedlings; Third, the existence of Lhca1 was also proved by Western blots. Moreover, measurements of electron transfer rate demonstrated that both PS II and PS I core in dark-grown lotus seedlings were photochemically active.展开更多
