It is found that the substitution of Cr is affected by Cr and Al contents and limits of occupation probabilities of Cr atom in L12 phase are present. The precipitate is single L12 phase when the component is less than the limit, Cr atoms substitute the Al sublattices in Ll2 phase, and both of atoms Al and Cr occupy the β-sites and complex phases Ni3(Al1-xCrx) are formed; Cr atoms enter Ni sites when Al and Cr contents exceed the limit, and substitute β-sites or both of α- and β-sites. The DO22 phase is formed at the boundary of Ll2 phase.展开更多

The productivity of subsistence farming is below 50% of the potential of agriculture, mainly because of inappropriate rainwater management. At farm level, rainwater is exposed to poor partitioning described as flooding, land degradation, siltation and water scarcity for domestic, irrigation, hydropower and environmental uses in the basin. Hence, it is one of the root causes of food-insecurity in the region. To reverse this situation and achieve increased rainwater productivity knowledge of rainfall partitioning at grassroots level is significantly important. However, rainwater partitioning and partitioning points are not clearly known by farmers in the area. Besides, understanding water-routes helps to manage rainwater with integrated water resources management (IWRM) processes. The objective of this study was to identify the knowledge gap of farmers and experts on rainwater partitioning that help for increased water productivity. Intensive monitoring and interviews have been carried out for 81 farmers and 22 local experts in three pilot sites. The interviewed farmers and experts are clearly aware of the runoff partitioning, since it is easily observable. While, only 10% of the farmers and 25% of experts know about evaporation partitioning, which is the largest compared to other losses. The paper gives recommendations for better understanding of rainfall partitioning points and management of water-routes at grassroots level to increase rainwater productivity and enhance food security in the area with IWRM processes.展开更多

Moreover, the interatomic potentials of Llo phase, L12 phase and DO22 phase changing with temperature and concen- trations were computed through utilizing the interatomic potentials equations induced by Khachaturyan's relational equations between the interatomic potentials and the long-range order (LRO) parameters. Results match preceding work and demonstrate that the phase precipitation sequence of Ni75AlloCr15 alloy is the disordered phase -L10 pre-precipitation phase -L12 equilibrium phase -L12+DO22 equilibrium phase. Free energies of Llo pre-precipitation phase are higher and interatomic potentials are smaller than those of L12 equilibrium phase; therefore, it is concluded that Llo phase is unstable, and phase transformation would occur to L12 which is more stable; L12 phase precipitates earlier than DO22 phase because L12's interaction potentials are larger than DO22's.展开更多
