Sea level change and forecast in the future — climate of the past,today and the future 被引量:1

The sea-level change is resulted from superposition of sun, moon and other planeries, and earth itself, biological process, atmosphere and oceanography, as well as artificial actions. As a result, the sea level change... The sea-level change is resulted from superposition of sun, moon and other planeries, and earth itself, biological process, atmosphere and oceanography, as well as artificial actions. As a result, the sea level change is really a sensitive integral variation value of many variations, or a combined function of coupling effects of various big systems. Therefore the above mentioned superposed action of different systems and the coupling effect of sun earth and biological aspects may be called as sun earth biological coupling effect system. Based on this hypothesis, the corresponding sun dynamic, air dynamic, water dynamic and earth dynamic conceptional models are established in order to research the multiple coupling effects and feedback machsnism between these big systems. In order to determine the relations, effectness and coherent relation of different variations, the quantity, analysis is conducted through collective variation and stage division. The quantity analysis indicates that the earths spindle rotation speed is the dynamic mechanism controlling the sea level change of fluctuation. The change rate of sea level in the world is +1.32 + 0.22 mm/a, while the sea level change rate in China is only+1.39 + 0.26 mm/a in average. If take the CO2 content as the climate marker, eight cold stages (periods) are grouped out since two hundreds years AC. The extreme cold of the eighth cold stage started approximately at 1850 years AC. and if the stage from the extreme cold to extreme warm is determined as long as 200 years, the present ongoing warm stage will end at about 2050 years, there after the temperature will begin to tower. If the stage between cold and warm extremes lasts for 250 years, then the temperature will become lower at about 2100 year. Until to that time, the sea-level is estimated to raise +7 - +11 + 3.5 cm again, and there after, the sea level will begin the new lowering trend. A facile and innovative method to improve bonding between the two parts of compound squeeze cast Al/Al-4.5 wt.%Cu macrocomposite bimetals was developed and its effects on microstructure and mechanical properties of the bimetal were investigated.A special concentric groove pattern was machined on the top surface of the insert(squeeze cast Al-4.5 wt.%Cu) and its effects on heat transfer,solidification and distribution of generated stresses along the interface region of the bimetal components were simulated using ProCAST and ANSYS softwares and experimentally verified. Simulation results indicated complete melting of the tips of the surface grooves and local generation of large stress gradient fields along the interface. These are believed to result in rupture of the insert interfacial aluminum oxide layer facilitating diffusion bonding of the bimetal components. Microstructural evaluations confirmed formation of an evident transition zone along the interface region of the bimetal. Average thickness of the transition zone and tensile strength of the bimetal were significantly increased to about 375 μm and 54 MPa, respectively, by applying the surface pattern.The proposed method is an affordable and promising approach for compound squeeze casting of Al-Al macrocomposite bimetals without resort to any prior cost and time intensive chemical or coating treatments of the solid insert. 展开更多

Mg/Cu bimetal composites were prepared by compound casting method, and the microstructure evolution, phase constitution and bonding strength at the interface were investigated.It is found that a good metallurgical bonding can be achieved at the interface of Mg and Cu,which consists of two sub-layers,i.e.,layer I with 30μm on the copper side composed of Mg2Cu matrix phase, on which a small amount of dendritic MgCu2 phase was randomly distributed;layerⅡ with 140μm on the magnesium side made up of the lamellar nano-eutectic network Mg2Cu+(Mg) and a small amount of detached Mg2Cu phase. The average interfacial shear strength of the bimetal composite is measured to be 13 MPa.This study provides a new fabrication process for the application of Mg/Cu bimetal composites as the hydrogen storage materials. 展开更多

The formation mechanism and wear behavior of a gradient nanostructured(GNS) Inconel 625 alloy were investigated using SEM, TEM and ball-on-disc sliding wear tester. The results show that surface mechanical grinding treatment(SMGT) induced an approximately 800 μm-deep gradient microstructure, consisting of surface nano-grained,nano-laminated, nano-twined, and severely deformed layers, which resulted in a reduced gradient in micro-hardness from 6.95 GPa(topmost surface) to 2.77 GPa(coarse-grained matrix). The nano-grained layer resulted from the formation of high-density nano-twins and subsequent interaction between nano-twins and dislocations. The width and depth of the wear scar, wear loss volume, and wear rate of the SMGT-treated sample were smaller than those of untreated coarse-grained sample. Moreover, the wear mechanisms for both samples were mainly abrasive wear and adhesive wear, accompanied with mild oxidation wear. The notable wear resistance enhancement of the GNS Inconel 625 alloy was attributed to the high micro-hardness, high residual compressive stress, and high strain capacity of the GNS surface layer. 展开更多

The microstructure and the filiform corrosion behaviour of machined AA7150 aluminium alloy were investigated using scanning and transmission electron microscopies combined with potentiodynamic polarization and filiform corrosion testing,respectively.It is found that the grain refinement,redistribution of alloying elements,and elements segregation at grain boundaries are evident within the near-surface region on the machined AA7150 aluminium alloy.The corrosion susceptibility of machining introduced near-surface deformed layer is significantly improved caused by the modified microstructure associated with severe deformation.Filiform corrosion resistance on the machined surface is obviously decreased,due to the surface roughness associated with machining tracks and the presence of the electrochemically more active near-surface deformed layer introduced by machining. 展开更多

In this paper, we firstly present a brief review of the definition, classification and the factors related to mixed-face conditions. Secondly, for a better understanding of this topic, we investigate the main difficulties and problems involved in TBM tunnelling under mixed-face ground with detailed cases. The formation mechanism for the body-centred regular octahedral structure of Li7 cluster is proposed. The curve of the total energy versus the separation R between the nucleus at the centre and nuclei at the apexes for this structure of Li7 has been calculated by using the method of Gou's modified arrangement channel quantum mechanics (MACQM). The result shows that the curve has a minimal energy of-52.169 73 a.u. at R = 5.06ao. When R approaches infinity, the total energy of seven lithium atoms has the value of-51.996 21 a.u. So the binding energy of Li7 with respect to seven lithium atoms is 0.173 52 a.u. Therefore the binding energy per atom for Li7 is 0.024 79 a.u. or 0.674 eV, which is greater than the binding energy per atom of 0.453 eV for Li2, the binding energy per atom of 0.494 eV for Li3 and the binding energy per atom of 0.632 eV for Li5 calculated previously by us. This means that the Li7 cluster may be formed stably in a body-centred regular octahedral structure with a greater binding energy. 展开更多

When R approaches infinity the total energy of five lithium atoms has the value of-37.1401 a.u. Therefore the binding energy per atom for Li5 is 0.023 22 a.u., or 0.632 eV, which is greater than the binding energy per atom of 0.453 eV for Li2 and the binding energy per atom of 0.494 eV for Li3 calculated previously by us. Combining with Jeffery :quation and mechanics model of fixed point of Euler rigid btdy, the mechanism and method of short fiber radial orientrion and characteristics of movement in tread extrusion process were studied. The influences of tension flow field and shear flow field in flow channel on short fiber orientation trove been systemically analyzed. The extrusion die, which had a hinder dam by adopting such principle, was designed. The results show that the expansion ratio and expanding angle of cross section are the key factors to determine the radial orientation of short fiber. Mathematical model of short fiber radial orientation was established. The results also show that the best expansion ratio is 3 - 4, the expanding angle is 75°, obtaining the average orientation angle between 70°- 80°, and the rationality of the radial oriented mechanism and the mathematical model are verified. 展开更多

The results show that there is a nonlinear relationship between the ratio of Fe-Al compound at the interface and the interfacial shear strength. When the ratio of Fe-Al compound at the interface is smaller than 71.4%, with the increase of the ratio of Fe-Al compound at the interface, the interfacial shear strength increases gradually; when the ratio of Fe-Al compound at the interface is larger than 71.4%, with the increase of the ratio of Fe-Al compound at the interface, the interfacial shear strength decreases continuously; when the ratio of Fe-Al compound at the interface is 71.4%, the largest interfacial shear strength 70.2MPa is obtained. 展开更多
