The thermal decomposition and intermediates and final solid products of La2(CO3)3·3.4H2O from 30 to 1000 °C were characterized by XRD, FTIR and DTA-TG. The kinetics of dehydration of La2(CO3)3·3.4H2O in the temperature range of 30-366 °C was investigated under non-isothermal conditions. Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Friedman isoconversion methods were used to calculate the activation energy and analyze the reaction steps; multivariate non-linear regression program was applied to determine the most probable mechanism and the kinetic parameters. The results show that the thermal dehydration of La2(CO3)3·3.4H2O is a kind of three-step competitive reaction, and controlled by an n-order initial reaction followed by n-order competitive reaction(FnFnFn model). The activation energy matching with the most probable model is close to value obtained by Friedman method. The fitting curves match the original TG-DTG curves very well.展开更多

Numerical simulations show that both methods can effectively enhance the synchronizability of this kind of networks. Furthermore, we show that the maximal BC of all edges is an important factor to affect the network synchronizability, although it is not the unique factor.展开更多

The dynamical evolution process of the coupled system is investigated with variations of the system parameter and coupling coefficients. Particularly, the influence of coupling strength on dynamics of the coupled system is analyzed in detail. The range of the coupling strength in which the coupled system can generate hyperchaos or realize synchronization is determined, including phase portraits, Lyapunov exponents, and Poincare section. And the critical value of the system parameter between hyperchaos and synchronization is also found with fixed coupled strength. In addition, abundant dynamical behaviors such as four-wing hyperchaotic, two-wing chaotic, single-wing coexisting attractors and periodic orbits are observed and chaos synchronization error curves are also drawn by varying system parameter c. Numerical simulations are implemented to verify the results of these investigations.展开更多

The regions of the selective oxidation of the pyridine derivatives have been found, and the optimal conditions for the production of4-vynilpyridine, 4-vynilpyridine N-monoxide, 2, 2-dipyridyl, and pyridine have been determined. The most probable synchronization mechanism is suggested for hydrogen peroxide decomposition and the free-radical chain oxidation of pyridine derivatives. The HO2 -radical plays the key role in this mechanism. The activation energies are calculated for the elementary steps of 4-ethylpyridine dehydrogenation.展开更多

Much attention has been given to investigate the synchronization of complex networks in recent years. However, few work has done for the networks with uncertain parameters and unknown topology. In this paper, to further reveal the dynamical mechanism in complex networks with time delays, an uncertain general complex dynamical network with delayed nodes is studied. By constructing a drive network and a suitable slave network, several novel criteria for the networks consisting of the identical nodes and different nodes have been obtained based on the adaptive feedback method. Particularly, the hypotheses and the proposed adaptive laws for network synchronization are simple and can be readily applied in practical applications. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization criteria.展开更多

Under the assumption of adiabatic motion and isotropic particle distribution maintained by pitch-angle scattering, the model calculates the electron flux by following bounce-averaged electric field, gradient, and curvature drift in the time dependent electric and magnetic field, meanwhile it counts the electron loss caused by pitch angle scattering. Using the model, the clectron flux distribution during a magnetic storm was calculated and compared with the observation data from the geosynchronous orbit. It is shown that the model can successfully reproduce most of the major electron flux enhancements observed at the geosynchronous orbit and generally tracks the satellite data well. The rms errors of the modeled logarithm of flux are between 0.5-1.0.展开更多
