This thesis sets up the dynamic model of residents′perception and attitude, analyzes the linkage between residents′ perception and attitude and the influential factors of resort life cycle, and finally, with a case study of Putuo Mountain, preliminarily discusses the relationship between resort life cycle and residents′perception and attitude. The research findings show that, although within development stage of life cycle, Putuo Mountain has already presented some signs of mature stage. The on-the-spot survey also indicates that, the local residents′ positive perception is stronger than their negative perception. But compared with residents in some other coastal resorts such as Haikou and Sanya, negative perception of residents in Putuo Mountain is more evident, as the result of the smaller tourism carrying capacity in Putuo Mountain. There are some influential factors that have great impact on tourism carrying capacity in Putuo Mountain: tourist-resident number ratio, residents′ benefit-cost ratio and characteristics of tourism resources. And the less influential factors are residents′ demographic character, tourist behavioral character and cultural differences between local residents and tourists. Therefore, effective measures should be taken to adjust the structure of tourism product for the purpose of expanding tourism carrying capacity, lowering its pressure, lessening residents′ environmental cost and enhancing their positive perception, which is the most essential prerequisite for the maturation of life cycle in Putuo Mountain.展开更多

In line with the 9th Malaysia Plan, development in Malaysia must meet current and future needs to achieve sustainability in economic development, as well as functioning as a social and environmental responsibility for prosperity without compromising the needs of future generations. To ensure that the government's objective is met, construction industry should implement the LCC (life cycle costing) method in structure and infrastructure projects so as to not cause losses to the industry itself and to the government. Through LCC, factors contributing to, and the associated cost of maintenance works for a building are identified at the design stage to obtain a more accurate projection of the total cost. This paper describes the LCC as a vital element in the construction industry since this method can drive quality improvement by taking into account the comprehensive cost of a project. The main aim of this paper is to aid in understanding the application of the LCC concept for the construction industry, particularly for the maintenance phase. This paper also identifies LCC processes involved in a building construction project and subsequently provides recommendation on appropriate measures to implement LCC in the construction industry in Malaysia.展开更多

It is especially the case of cheeses, whose taste varies from one geographical region to another depending on specific flora and technological processes used in traditional systems. The paper tries to bring new elements on the methodology used in order to elucidate some aspects related to traditional products' quality, products obtained by private producers in the Bra^ov district (Rucar-Bran pass). Covasna district and Bistrita Nasaud district were analyzed organoleptically, physico-chemically and microbiologically samples of fresh cow cheese, soft cow cheese, smoked curd cheese, gaiter cheese and cottage cheese taken within the strategic and self-control program from individuals in the rural areas of Fundata, Poiana Sibiului, Sirnea, Pfirliu, Cristian, Cincaor, Sohodol, Ranov, Brarov, Bod, Roadea, Harnan, Prejmer, Soars, Rupea, Lunca Calnicului, Balanii, Mari, Bran, Buzaiel, Bacut, H~.lchiu, Fagraa, Moeciu de Sus, Purcaareni, Bran-Simon, Venelia de Jos, Vama Buzatului, lntorsura Buzaului, Vatrghia and Sita Buzaului.展开更多
