[Method] From 27 pairs of porcine microsatellite primers recommended by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations （FAO） and international Society for Animal Genetics （ISAG）, six pairs （S0155, SW240, IGF1, SW951, SW857, SW24） were selected for microsatellite DNA detection of three Guizhou local pig breeds, including Nuogu Pig, Kele Pig and Guanling Pig. Subsequently, their genetic diversities were analyzed. [ Result] The three pig breeds were high polymorphic at the six microsatellite loci （PIC 〉0.5）. The Nei＇s standard genetic distance of them was 0.206 3 -0.481 5. The genetic distance between Nuogu Pig and Kele Pig Was the closest, and that between Nuogu Pig and Guanling Pig was the furthest. [ Conclusion] The three Guizhou local pig breeds are in high genetic diversities. Nuogu Pig is a special type of Kele Pig, an excellent Chinese local pig breed.展开更多

The hybrid of Pei'ai 64S/javanica possesses positive heterobeltiosis in culm height, panicle length, panicles per plant, spikelets per panicle, grains per panicle, yield per plant, theoretic yield per hectare and actual yield per hectare; performs negative heterobeltiosis in days to flower, seed setting rate and 1000-grain weight. There are significant linear regression relations between culm height of the hybrid and panicle length of its male parent, panicle length of the hybrid and that of its male parent, spikelets per panicle of the hybrid and spikelets per panicle and panicle length of its male parent, grains per panicle of the hybrid and spikelets per panicle of its male parent, 1000-grain weight of the hybrid and spikelets per panicle of its male parent, respectively. In general, significant differences at 1% level are seen in most traits except grains per panicle and theoretic yield per hectare between the indica/javanica hybrid and Pei'ai 64S/Teqin (CK). Compared with the check, the indica/javanica hybrids have positive Standard heterosis in culm height, panicle length, spikelets per panicle, grains per panicle and 1000-grain weight but negative standard heterosis in days to flower, panicles per plant, seed setting rate, theoretic yield per hectare and actual yield per hectare. For the individuals, 11.1% hybrids possess > 40% standard heterosis in theoretic yield per hectare, 3.7% possess >40% standard heterosis in actual yield per hectare. The javanica restorer line 770 derives from a single cross of Pei'ai 64S/Moroberekan B-51-4-9-2. The hybrid 43S/770 possesses an elite plant type and strong heterosis.展开更多

Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op. 24, （Op. 2...＂Variations＂ is one of the main musical forms in compositional process. Johannes Brahms is one of the most important Romantic composers that used this form. Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op. 24, （Op. 24, 1862） is a piece that Johannes Brahms wrote for solo piano in a highly creative style, which was classically arranged. Brahms took the theme from an aria in George Frederic Handel＇s Harpsichord Suite in B-flat major, HWV 434 （1733）. In Handel＇s work, the original theme was turned into five variations. With the purpose of exploring chromatic possibilities after the piano was developed from harpsichord, Brahms made 25 magnificent variations with an extensive fugue in his work. The purpose of this work is to prepare an explanatory document for pianists who intend to perform this piece and who are not familiar with such work. Also, it is hoped that piano performers will find explanatory points in this composition （e.g., stylistic characteristics） through comparisons with his other variations and start performing it more frequently展开更多

He was interested in the convergence of social, cultural, and economic capital. The authors propose to focus on the cultural capital of both the qualitative characteristics of the state of society. The problem is that in the presence of cultural capital as a funded system of values in the form of works of art and science, society degrades morally. Any cultural capital based on traditional religious values. This does not mean the broadcasting of religious themes in works of art, although it excludes, but rather a philosophical position of artists and researchers, through which the public receives the interpretation of events, their assessment of a certain value-regulatory system of coordinates. This element is the spiritual capital of the company and is a fundamental element of cultural capital. Qualitative state of society, its morality depends on the amount of spiritual capital, which he occupies in the field of cultural capital. Indigenous potato is linked to specific adaptations to loc...The presence and introduction of new potato cultivars in Kosovo has increased the yield per unit area but reduced the cultivation of native potato population. Indigenous potato is linked to specific adaptations to local fanning system and specific agro ecological conditions. This research was conducted in Prishtina region which is located in the Kosovo agro ecological region （42°38′97″ latitude and 21°08′45＂ longitude at 574 m.a.s.l ）. Plant material used in this research was 18 potato accessions with different origins. The experimental design was a randomized complete block （RCB） with three replicates, while the plot sizes were 4.20 m^2. All observation and analysis were carried out on 12 plants from each accession. All characters were measured in the field and laboratory at the normal harvest time. Morphological diversity was characterized using standard descriptors. The genetic diversity studies of the investigated potato accessions showed significant genetic variation on 17 physiological and chemical parameters, which could be largely due to that they were of different origins. The genetic diversity of potato cultivars offers a wealth of natural resources from which breeders can select the most desirable genotypes based on their favorable traits.展开更多

The trait in this research include birth weight （BW）, 3 （W3）, 6 （W6）, 9 （W9）, 12 （W12） months weight, fleece weight （WF） （as production traits）, body length（BL）, size of femur（F）, thorax（TX）, testis（TS）, height of lumber（L） and shoulder（SH） （as morphological traits）. Variance components, least square means and standard error of production and morphological traits were estimated and environmental factors （including effects of year of birth, season, sex, type of birth and age of dam） were studied with GLM procedure of SAS 9.1 software. The results showed that the all environmental factors have significant effect, male lambs weight more than females, and twins were more performance than single. Production and apparent performance characteristics of phenotypic traits was different in year of birth, maternal age, season. This study shows that Macoie sheep breed at the various management environment have suitable performance and genetic potential.展开更多
