XRF岩芯连续扫描在近30年间被广泛用于获取不同地理环境的湖泊沉积序列元素分布及其指示的环境意义,特别是湖泊密集的“亚洲水塔”青藏高原。然而,XRF扫描数据的准确性受沉积岩芯物理属性的显著影响,可能导致记录信息的过度或错误解释。本研究基于青藏高原南部哲古错(ZGC)内近4400年以来由植物和泥沙混合沉积而成的2.16 m完整岩芯(ZGC21),利用XRF岩芯连续扫描获取其元素信号值和色度分布,结合含水量、粒度、烧失量等物理特征分析,表明ZGC岩芯层理清晰、定年精准、气候信息记录全面,是重建印度夏季风和青藏高原南部气候变化的最佳载体之一。稳定元素(Al、 K、 Fe、 Mn、 Rb、 Si、 Ti、 Zr)信号值分布均不能用于指示ZGC岩芯不同层理的碎屑物质输入比例,但Zr/Rb比值则可反映流域内物质输入的真实特征;Ca和Br元素信号值分布分别指示ZGC21岩芯的碳酸盐和有机质含量变化。基于可靠元素信号分布和AMS-14C精确定年,青藏高原南部在太阳辐射强度变化驱动下于4400~3500 a B. P.和850~80 a B. P.年间均处于寒冷气候环境中,低温不足以支撑湖内植被的生存,而在2750~1830 a B. P.和1320~850 a B. P.年间则相反。上述结果为XRF岩芯连续扫描数据的正确应用和准确解释提供科学示范,也为重建该地区过去4400年人地关系提供年代际尺度环境演变框架。 展开更多

For example, they both recognize the role of language in constructing, and limiting, knowledge and reality. This is because thinkers of different cultures and geographical regions, and of different historical periods, can possibly come up with similar philosophical conclusions when addressing what is commonly known as the "human condition". The paper will discuss, in general terms, some of the philosophical similarities between postmodemism and classical Chinese philosophy; it will also take a close look at three concepts in Chinese philosophy that register strong affinity with Western postmodernism: namely, change, dialectic, and relativism. 展开更多

Eros and Thanatos in Theo Angelopoulos' Trilogy: The Weeping Meadow (2004) and Dust of Time (2008)

Nevertheless, in the main myths related to the netherworld such as those of Orpheus or Persephone,... Eros and Thanatos are the forces of life and death. The Ancient Greek Philosophers never showed the two gods together. Nevertheless, in the main myths related to the netherworld such as those of Orpheus or Persephone, the two gods are in a continuous fight which has determined the human condition until nowadays. The author wishes in this paper to examine how the Orpheus' myth related to the duality Eros and Thanatos is treated in Theo Angelopoulos' world and especially how it appears in Ulysses' Gaze (1995) and Trilogy: The Weeping Meadow (2004) and Dust of Time (2008). In this last Angelopoulos' Trilogy, we will search the unfolds of the love story of two young people started in Odessa in 1918 and finished by the death of the woman at the end of the century, under the lens of the duality Eros and Thanatos as literal and metaphorical qualities. The historical and personal adventures of the two characters represent a daedal itinerary from East to West, which offers multiple levels of reading of the filmic texts. A comparative approach with myth, literature, and historical research will demonstrate the richness of artistic expression and a profound relationship of Angelopoulos' thought with the formulaic myths he introduces in his filmic work. 展开更多

Plotinian Methodology and Hermeneutics: Philosophy or History of Philosophy?

The present paper has a double aim: (1) it attempts to present an aspect of Plotinus' philosophical and hermeneutical methodology on the basis of relevant remarks in the treatise "On Eternity and Time"; (2) it seeks to connect this attitude with contemporary methodological questions concerning the relation between philosophy and history of philosophy. After an introduction where it is emphasized that the term "Neo-Platonism" is of recent coinage, I exploit David Sedley's remarks regarding the function of ancient philosophical schools: the quest for the "correct" interpretation of the school's founder as a philosophical enterprise in itself is not an exclusively Neoplatonic characteristic. Nonetheless, the example of Plotinus' Enneads III.7, owing to the complexity of its theme, shows that Plotinus does not pay attention only to the Platonic teachings regarding eternity and time, but also to all the other philosophical schools' theories, including the Epicurean. The aim is the ascertainment of the truth inherent in them and its apt interpretation. Hence, I follow Steven K. Strange (1950-2009), who relates the Plotinian methodology to Aristotle's endoxic method. After a presentation of similarities and differences between the two philosophers, I conclude that the problematic features posed by several philosophical theories are resolved via an innovative Plotinian reading of Plato. Thus, the non-Platonic theories play a role in the more adequate interpretation of Plato, which is identified with the successful answer to the philosophical problems. This fact makes us wonder as to the best characterization of Plotinus' enterprise: philosophy or history of philosophy? Although the question is somehow anachronistic, Plotinus gives an explicit response in his aforementioned tractate: to the extent that he is interested in solving philosophical problems, rather than compiling a "catalogue" of past philosophical positions, his enterprise is not historical, but philosophical. Two final corollaries stem from this: (i) to a certain extent, the previous enunciation explains the Neoplatonic reading of Plato; (ii) it teaches us that the difference between philosophizing and a historical treatment of philosophy does not lie only on the content, but also on the manner according to which the interpreter approaches past or contemporary philosophers. 展开更多

Chinese sports aim at building the body and self-cultivation. The movement structures of sports are mainly the simulation of all kinds of movement of animals, which are particular about static and dynamic equilibrium, firmness, and gentleness, getting refined internally and externally. The feature of Chinese sports is the unification of form and spirit. The pattern of Chinese sports is closely related with Chinese philosophy thought, and the constructed Chinese sports culture has become the essential part of Chinese traditional philosophy. Chinese sports have integrated fitness and aesthetic appreciation into one, which is the specific expression of Chinese traditional thought. However, western sports have integrated with western philosophy thought with strong athletic tint. The characteristic of western sports has a necessary connection with the ancient Greek thought. Ancient Greeks had realized that the relationship between human and the nature was not totally dependent with contrariety, so they thought only fighting with the nature could they survive. The origins of thought of Chinese and western sports cultures decide the differences between Chinese and western sports.
