In many ways, at this period, the commercial credit was completed in the form of notes. If defined in contemporary financial concept, it embodied the character of cashier’s cheque, money order, and the cheque itself, that greatly exert positive impact on avoiding risk, saving cost, accelerating trade along with enlarging the commercial scale. But, these notes suffered partly from its own limitation that they were not fully circulated at late 18 century or the early 19 century.展开更多
