ADAPTIVE GENETIC ALGORITHM BASED ON SIX FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLERS

The performance of genetic algorithm(GA) is determined by the capability of search and optimization for satisfactory solutions. The new adaptive genetic algorithm(AGA) is built for inducing suitable search and optimization relationship. The use of six fuzzy logic controllers(6FLCs) is proposed for dynamic control genetic operating parameters of a symbolic-coded GA. This paper uses AGA based on 6FLCs to deal with the travelling salesman problem (TSP). Experimental results show that AGA based on 6FLCs is more efficient than a standard GA in solving combinatorial optimization problems similar to TSP.

Effects of sintered metal distributor on fluidization quality of the air dense medium fluidized bed

Dry coal beneficiation using an air dense medium fluidized bed (ADMFB) requires the formation of a sta- ble and uniform bed from the dense medium. Others have shown that the structure and geometric parameters of the air distributor have a significant influence on the experimentally observed fluidization quality. In this study we used a sintered metal distributor (SMD) in the ADMFB separator and study its effect on the fluidization quality. The results show that for the same open area ratio (OAR), a smaller aper- ture in the SMD will provide improved fluidization quality. If aperture size is held constant bigger open area ratios result in improved fluidization quality. And, the fluidization quality also improves when the pressure drop across the SMD increases. A model relating distributor pressure drop and the geometric parameters of the SMD is also proposed.

Intercultural Communication of Assist Card in Connecting Its Cardholder and Its Medical Service Provider

Technology-assisted, multi-party involved, non-face-to-face communication will become more prevail than interpersonal communication, and will play more important role in intercultural communication. Conflicts, complaints rise, how to balance all different positioned parties, how to advance the case will be of referential value to the cases coming later. AC at the center of multi-lateral communication acted timely and appropriately to have managed the complaints and facilitated communication. As an international traveling assistance and insurance company, Assist Card provides medical assistance from its direct and indirect medical service providers around the world to its cardholders. The role AC plays in connecting its cardholders and both its direct and indirect medical service providers is crucial and dominating. This is a case study of how did AC especially AC China act to facilitate the dialogue between Maria, the patient and Hengyang HP, the problem of AC intragroup communication, how did the in-group intimacy help AC trust hospital, defend for it, while believe it was Maria who should be more intercultural sensitive. Participant observation is another research method. Dialectical approach was used to analyze intercultural sensitivity responsibility.

Helicity Amplitude Analysis of η_c Decays into Hyperon-Antihyperon Pairs

The helicity amplitudes for the processes of e^＋e^- →J/ψ→γηc→γYY（Y： hyperon） are presented, together with the joint angular distributions for ηc decays into ∧∧,∑^0 ∑^0, and [1]-[1]＋. The sensitivities to measure the hyperon decay parameters in these decays are evaluated based on the helicity amplitudes. The prospects to test the Bell inequality in experiment using the decay of ηc→∧∧ are discussed.

Development and Application of Heat-integrated Aromatics Fractionation Process

The PRO/Ⅱ process simulation software was applied to carry out simulated calculation of the aromatics fractionation unit and the heat integrated rectification process was proposed for the aromatics fractionation section of the 1.0 Mt/a toluene disproportionation unit at the Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company. The optimized operating parameters were obtained through the energy utilization analysis,process simulation,heat exchanger calculations and comparisons of utility consumption. The operation of commercialized unit has revealed that the design parameters of each rectification column were consistent with the operation results,and the utility consumption was about 47% lower than the traditional heat integrated process.

Participation in the Higher Education Chamber [CESJ of the National Education Council （：CNE） During the Administration of Fernando Henrique Cardoso

After the creation of the Law 9.394/96, which established the bases of Brazilian education, it is noted that government policies initiated at Fernando Henrique Cardoso （FHC） government reinforced the education decentralization process, combining higher education reform with state reform ruled by neoliberal policies. The literature about Higher Education contemporary problems points to three central themes： access to higher education, academic organization, and public universities privatization. Therefore, it is important to analyze the public space of relationship between state and civil society constituted for making decisions in this area because its deliberations directly affect public policy development. This paper aims to examine the capacity of Higher Education Chamber （CES） of the National Education Council （CNE） to consolidate civil society participation in decision-making issues concerning Higher Education in the period that includes 1997-2002, The CNE was selected because it is the highest forum for participation： it discusses the problems involved in national education, especially in higher education, whose decisions are taken by CES. The period 1997-2002 was defined because it is the period of President FHC government, after the creation of Law 9.394/96. The official documents and Council documents analysis showed that this public space consolidates the participation because there is an educational process of recognition of civil society issues, although there are restrictions imposed by the government.

Preliminary Studies on Composition, Quality and Oxidative Stability of Commercial Avocado Oil Produced in Chile

Avocado oil is a relatively new oil in the market and is highly appreciated by the consumers because of its fine aroma, pleasant taste and health benefits. A study on the characterization of commercial avocado oils produced in Chile was conducted in order to discuss their quality parameters. The study was applied to two marketed avocado oils. The main analytical parameters evaluated to the oils were： fatty acid composition, total chlorophylls, total carotenoids, tocopherols, acid value, peroxide value, total phenolic compounds, polar compounds, oil stability, UV absorption and 3.5-stigmastadiene content. The fatty acid compositions of the studied oils were according with oil composition of pulp pure of avocado fruit. The analysis of tocopherols by high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC） revealed significant differences between the avocado oils studied. Total phenolic compounds, oil stability, UV Absorption characteristics, peroxide value, acid value, tocopherols content, total chlorophylls, total carotenoids and polar compounds were also significantly different between the commercial studied oils. All the above results show a different quality between both commercial avocado oils, showing that the sample C has worse values for the parameters of quality as those required by legislation in many countries. Also, 3.5-stigmastadiene content shows high concentration for one of the commercial avocado oil evaluated which demonstrates the presence of refined oil or that the oil has been submitted to high temperatures. On the other hand it is remarkable that despite the fact that there are many differences in quality parameters, both oils are labeled and marketed as extra virgin quality oils, demonstrating the need to regulate the classification of appreciated oils by the consumers.

A Verifiable Multi-Secret Sharing Scheme Based on Hermite Interpolation

A threshold scheme, which is introduced by Shamir in 1979, is very famous as a secret sharing scheme. We can consider that this scheme is based on Lagrange＇s interpolation formula. A secret sharing scheme has one key. On the other hand, a multi-secret sharing scheme has more than one key, that is, a multi-secret sharing scheme has p （〉_ 2） keys. Dealer distribute shares of keys among n participants. Gathering t （〈 n） participants, keys can be reconstructed. Yang et al. （2004） gave a scheme of a （t, n） multi-secret sharing based on Lagrange＇s interpolation. Zhao et al. （2007） gave a scheme of a （t, n） verifiable multi-secret sharing based on Lagrange＇s interpolation. Recently, Adachi and Okazaki give a scheme of a （t, n） multi-secret sharing based on Hermite interpolation, in the case ofp 〈 t. In this paper, we give a scheme ofa （t, n） verifiable multi-secret sharing based on Hermite interpolation.

The Biological Parameters： Support for a Successful and Sustainable Business

This study is of conceptual nature and analyzes the annual reports of agriculture ministry. Albania is an economy characterized by a high percentage of agriculture of gross domestic product （GDP） with 25%. Actually, Albania for many decades and varied reasons will remain, to the future, a country where agriculture and especially livestock will play an important role. This paper starts from the actual situation and tries to find solutions to any effective management＇s problems. Treatments in this paper are based on literature reviews and combined with empirical research. Part of this article clarifies the scope of modem agricultural business and the impacts of circumstances of biological parameters on a sustainable livestock.

Prospects of Deliberative Global Governance

Global governance is often equated with international institutions such as the United Nations and the World Bank that were established after World War II to address problems transcending national borders. While these institutions incorporate norms of representative democracy that evolved in national societies, their legitimacy is often questioned on grounds of limited effectiveness and remoteness from the citizens they purportedly serve. The arguments of many democratic theorists that deliberation among ordinary citizens can legitimize policies that heed these views thus bear important implications for global governance. In this paper, the possibility and different ways that civil society enhancing public participation, transparency and accountability in global governance are addressed. The empirical focus will be on the world＇s first global deliberation--WWViews （world wide views on global warming） that was held in 38 countries with all inhabited continents in 2009. The social drivers that encourage innovation in global democratic governance are analysed, as the main successes and challenges of WWViews and sketch three scenarios of the future of deliberative global governance are based on the experiences and plans around global citizen participation. The authors argue that despite some challenges, such as ensuring high quality of deliberation in highly variant policy cultural contexts and building policy pathways conducive to political impact, the prospects of deliberation in helping solve global environmental and policy problems are high, and likely to see cumulative progress in the near future.
