The samples were cold deformed by compression into the different heights up to 40% reduction. The isothermal holding treatments were carried out at 625 ℃ for predetermined time intervals. The results reveal that the average grain size is gradually reduced with the increase of the compression ratio. When the compression ratio surpasses 30%, the above descending trend is not as evident as that below 30% reduction. During the subsequent heat treatments, the recrystallization is induced in the deformed samples by the increasingly accumulated strain energy. The grain growth mechanisms and the microstructural coarsening of the SIMA processed 7075 Al alloy were discussed and confirmed.展开更多

The analysis by SDS-PAGE showed that the Delta nif EAv1 was similar to OP MoFe protein (Av1) of A. vinelandii in the kinds and molecular weights of subunits (alpha and beta subunit). When complemented with nitrogenase Fe protein (M), the A nif EAv1 had hardly any proton-reduction activity, but could be significantly activated by FeMoco extracted from OP Av1. After the Delta nif E Av1 was treated with an excess o-phenanthroline (o-phen) and chromatographied on Sephadex G-25 column under atmosphere of Ar, Delta nif E Av1(C) was obtained. In the presence of both Av2 and MgATP regeneration system, the Delta nif EAv1(C), rather than A nif EAv1, was significantly activated in vitro by a reconstituent solution containing Mn which composed of KMnO4, ferric homocitrate, Na2S, Na2S2O4 (DT) and dithiothreitol (DTT). But in the absence of MgATP or Av2, the activation of Delta nifE Av1(C) did not happen. It indicates that activation of Delta nif EAv1 by RS-Mn requires the pretreatment with o-phen and the simultaneous presence of Av2 and MgATP.展开更多

In the study, the system was heated up without electric device, i.e., the fuel providing the required thermal energy through an integrated BOP (balance of plant). The ex-situ experiments, without an SOFC stack installed in the system, were fast conducted to investigate the operability of a BOP apparatus. It was found that the BOP possessed high conversion rates for both steam reforming and water gas shift reactions. The total fuel concentration of hydrogen and carbon monoxide from the reformer was around 91.2%. The system validation tests showed that, with the natural gas as fuel, the output power from the stack reached to 1,060 W, while the fuel utilization efficiency and electrical efficiency were 67.16% and 45.0%, respectively. A steady 600-hour system operation test was carried out at an average system temperature of 694℃. Of which, a 36-cell stack was employed for the test. Meanwhile, the current, voltage and output power were 26 A, 32.3 V and 840 W, respectively, and its electrical efficiency was around 33.4%.展开更多

The permeability coefficient was obtained based on the pressure drop data and the Darcy's law. In three filtration experiments, pure carbon dioxide at 283 K, nitrogen at 85 K and liquid helium at 18 K are adopted, respectively. It is found that the permeability coefficient decreases at the working temperature due to the cold shrink of the filter element at cryogenic temperature. Then, two kinds of feed slurries, mixture of liquid nitrogen and solid carbon dioxide at 85 K, and mixture of liquid helium and solid nitrogen at 18 K, flow into the filter cell. The solid particles are deposited on the filter surface to form a filter cake and the purified liquid flows through the filter. It is found that the pressure drop evolution shows the same trend on these two temperatures, which can be divided into three stages with high filtration efficiency, indicating the feasibility of the filter for cryogenic application. However, variant cake resistances are obtained, which is resulted from the different interactions between solid particles in the feed slurry at lower working temperature.展开更多
