It is of great significance to make comparative analyses of seismic fortification criteria at home and abroad for improving the anti-seismic capability of electrical equipment and revising the relevant national standa...It is of great significance to make comparative analyses of seismic fortification criteria at home and abroad for improving the anti-seismic capability of electrical equipment and revising the relevant national standards.A brief overview of American,Japanese,IEC standards and Chinese seismic design codes for electrical equipment is presented.Differences between these seismic fortification standards of electrical equipment are compared and analyzed in respect of the goal and level of seismic fortification and the seismic design spectrum.The advantages and disadvantages of Chinese standards are pointed out.Through learning from foreign experience on the determination of seismic fortification standards,recommendations are made for the improvement and revision of Chinese seismic fortification standards for electrical equipment.展开更多

They are turning to pile foundations to solve t...Complexity and implementation of design norms in Cameroon required a proven foreign expertise, but nowadays local engineers are mastering modern construction techniques. They are turning to pile foundations to solve the problem of construction sites on weak soils. The objective of this work is to present the trend of the country pile-driving capacity of some foundations design and construction companies. The proposed analytical method is based on Finite Element Method and on the theory of wave's propagation and transmission along the pile taking into account experimental data on the construction site. The proposed method is validated through recorded data during the construction of the Mungo Bridge in Cameroon, and obtained analytical results are in agreement with experimental results.展开更多
文摘输电铁塔属于风敏感结构,风与结构的相互作用十分复杂,风荷载是设计的主要控制荷载。随着涉外工程的增多,准确把握国外规范的风荷载取值成为铁塔设计的关键一步。首先对国际上通用的输电线路设计规范(包括ASCE 74-2009、IEC 60826及BS EN 50341)中关于铁塔风荷载的计算原理进行梳理和分析,得到了一套完整的铁塔风荷载计算方法。以某一典型的输电铁塔为研究对象,分别按照国外规范计算得到了塔身和横担的风荷载,分析了结构各层的风荷载分布特点,并与我国规范的计算结果进行对比研究。通过研究,揭示了国外规范计算铁塔风荷载的特点,结果可作为输电铁塔抗风设计的参考。
