This paper reviews process and the underlying driving forces of China＇s urbanization between 1949-2015. Contemporary China＇s urbanization has experienced four stages, and each has had different driving forces： 1） economic re-construction and industrialization-led urbanization 0949-1977）; 2） economic reform and mar- ket-led urbanization （1978-1995）; 3） economic globalization and the global-local urbanization （1996-2010）; and 4） the land-economy- led urbanization （2010-）. These urbanization processes and driving forces will undoubtedly provide scientific reference and have sig- nificant implications for developing countries, especially African countries, to formulate their urbanization public policies.展开更多

Complicated gallstone disease represents the most frequent of biliary disorders for which surgery is regularly advocated. As regards, cholecystectomy represents a common abdominal surgical intervention; it can be performed as either an elective intervention or emergency surgery, in the case of gangrene, perforation, peritonitis or sepsis. Nowadays, the laparoscopic approach is preferred over open laparotomy. Globally, numerous cholecystectomies are performed daily; however, little evidence exists regarding assessment of post-surgical quality of life (QOL) following these interventions. To assess post-cholecystectomy QOL, in fact, documentation of high quality care has been subject to extended discussions, and the use of patientreported outcome satisfaction for quality improvement has been advocated for several years. However, there has been little research published regarding QOL out-comes following cholecystectomy; in addition, much of the current literature lacks systematic data on patientcentered outcomes. Then, although several tools have been used to measure QOL after cholecystectomy, diffi culty remains in selecting meaningful parameters in order to obtain reproducible data to reflect postoperative QOL. The aim of this study was to review the impact of surgery for gallbladder diseases on QOL. This review includes Medline searches of current literature on QOL following cholecystectomy. Most studies demonstrated that symptomatic patients profi ted more from surgery than patients receiving an elective intervention. Thus, the gain in QOL depends on the general conditions before surgery, and patients without symptoms profi t less or may even have a reduction in QOL.展开更多

However, there are remarkable health differences among urban and rural areas, different regions, and small, medium-sized and large cities. In this paper, on the basis of the healthy social economic decision theory, the characteristics and causes of the regional difference between China＇ s residents in the health level are systematically analyzed, and then the strategies for the harmonious regional development of the Chinese population health are deeply discussed.展开更多

Three Japanese newspaper reports concerning this penalty fine are selected for critical discourse analysis. Emotional ambience of them is derogative, neutral, and approving respectively. Foucault＇s triad relationship of discourse-power-identity is borrowed and the postmodernists＇ view of the ＂other＂ is corroborated with the self-presentation of China. Positive self-presentation is underscored by the contrast of negative other-presentation and vice versa, the negative commendation on this punishment event revealed in certain news coverage is to lessen the negative image of Japanese enterprises because of their shared Japanese identity. However their fundamental tone maybe, the fact that China evolves to be able to handle the illegal international events in its confines with dignity is tacitly recognized as a warning in three newspapers. The new identity of China is thus highlighted as the role of the other by the Japanese media. The reason why Japanese accept it instead of staging substantial resistance is analyzed from the Japanese cultural considerations of the hierarchical sequence or the ＂weizhiyishi＂ （positional consciousness or postural consciousness）, and the practical reasons of why Hitachi and Nachi commit self-confession is analyzed. The related interests about endowment insurance to migrant workers have a great significance on their old life. The latest information released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that the proportion of migrant workers to participate in endowment insurance is only 15.7%. The actively of migrant workers attend pension insurance is not very high. The article through learning the literature, a method combining empirical research and the interview, find that the traditional values are still an important aspect to bound migrant workers to attend endowment insurance.
