国性论、国粹论与文化的排孔开新

国性论、国粹论 ,滥觞于晚清。在五四新文化运动中 ,它们成为旧文人旧思想护圣守旧的工具 ;同时 ,又是新文化新思想排孔开新的靶子。由对于国性论、国粹论的批判 ,到主张国民性改造 ,标志着新文化运动由关注思想文化问题到关心社会主体———人的问题 ,这本身就体现着新文化运动的深化和进步。因此 ,理所当然地说 ,文化新人对国性论、国粹论的批判 ,既是五四时期排孔开新文化主题的题中本义 ,更是新文化运动的重要内容。因此 ,研究晚清思想史学术史固然要重视国性论、国粹论 ,而研究五四思想史学术史也不能忽视国性论、国粹论。

Fouling acorn barnacles in China——a review

We review the species composition, distribution, and seasonal variation of fouling acorn barnacles in Chinese waters--from Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea to East and South China Seas. Thirty-two species of acorn barnacles were found, of which, the dominant species are Amphibalanus amphitrite, A. reticulatus, A. variegates, Balanus trigonus, Fistulobalanus kondakovi, Megabalanus tintinnabulum, Striatobalanus amaryllis, and Eurapha withersi in the fouling communities. A. amphitrite is the dominant species in the coastal waters of Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea and A. reticulatus is dominant in the East and South China Seas. The settlement period of fouling acorn barnacles is usually in summer and autumn. From north to south with the decrease of latitude, their settlement period obviously extends, even to the whole year, and the species number also increases. Other environmental factors, such as salinity and distance from shore, also play an important role in the distribution of fouling acorn barnacles.

Mechanical genesis of Henan(China) Yima thrust nappe structure

Considering the serious coal and rock dynamic disasters around the main slip plane called F16 in the coal mining area) of Henan Yima(China) thrust nappe structure,the mechanical genesis of the Yima thrust nappe structure was studied comprehensively using geomechanics,fault mechanics,elastic mechanics,and Coulomb's law of friction.First,using the centrifugal inertia force of Earth's rotation as a source,a mechanical model of N-S compression superimposed with W-E reverse torsion was established to explain the formation of the early Yima coal basin and Jurassic Yima Group coal measures.Second,an equation for the ultimate stress in the forming stage of F16 was derived using the plastic slip-line field theory and the parabolic Mohr failure criterion.Moreover,the distribution of ultimate stress and the geometric characteristics of the fault profile were obtained using the field model parameters.Finally,the stress field of F16 and the mechanical genesis of the large-scale reverse thrust sheet were discussed based on elastic mechanics theory and Coulomb's law of friction.The results show that the tectonic framework of the early Yima coal basin and the formation pattern of Jurassic Yima Group coal measures given by the model are consistent with the in-situ explorations.The geometric characteristics of the fault profile obtained by numerical calculation can better reflect the shape of F16 in its forming stage,and the mechanical genesis of the large-scale reverse thrust sheet also concurred with the field situations.Thus,this work can provide a foundation for further studies on the genesis of the thrust nappe structure,the mechanism of rock bursts induced by F16,and the characteristics of the residual stress field in the Yima mining area.

Acting and Thinking as a Revolutionary Organ： The Case of the French Review Socialisme ou Barbarie （1948-1965）

The aim of the article is to analyze the evolution of a radical left group in France that created a scission inside the Fourth International after World War II. The group founded a review Socialisme ou Barbarie that criticized Marxism and the Trotskyist interpretation of the status of the USSR. The rigorous description of this review reveals the mixture of strong theoretical views on bureaucratic societies and empirical investigations of reactions against those societies. The hypothesis is that this group failed to be a new political force. As a matter of fact, is it possible to depict the evolution of Socialisme ou Barbarie as an investigative journalism based on a strong political and philosophical theory？

How to Determine the Upgrading Opportunities for Industries： Theory, Method and Policy

Industrial upgrading and transformation is important for China to transform its way of development. To accomplish this task effectively, we need to identify industries with potential comparative advantage. Using the latest data on international trade of products, this paper verifies the premise of heterogeneity of product space of the evolutionary theory of comparative advantage, and analyses the evolution of product space of China and most countries in the world. The paper makes predictions on China ＂s industries with potential comparative advantage in near terms using the product space theory, and carries out thorough discussion on the evolutionary track of industries under different proximity thresholds. The basic conclusion is that even as China＇s number of industries with comparative advantage is larger than the global average, its industrial upgrading capacity is limited, as it has fewer industries with potential comparative advantage and lower sustainability in the current sectors than the world average. China faces a dilemma in the process of industrial upgrading, as a rapid upgrading would cause a shock to current economic growth, and a slow one would not maintain sustainable growth. With limited industrial upgrading capacity, the best structure adjustment and upgrading strategy is to give full play to the advantage of China＇s industrial diversification and combination to achieve an inclusive upgrading.

Marxism in China and ideological education

It is a big project of whole society to strengthen the holistic view and ideological and political education, thus we must work together to make full use of social resources to advocate the basic value rules of society and guarantee the promotion of human nature, guiding people to think according to the social reality to enhance rational ability of thinking, eventually forming a mutual power of education; in the mean time, we should still exert advantages of strong systematic, theoretical and logical factors to achieve double swords with combination of education mode. Research of Pipeline Pressure Based on the Reliability Theory

The former gas pipeline operating pressure transmission determined mostly according to the determined formula into the corresponding pipeline parameters are obtained, and the parameters of the actual pipeline due to many reasons, such as measurement error, production batch, etc., is not a fixed value. This paper on pipeline integrity established limit state equation, using Monte Carlo method to calculate the gas pipeline in different pressures of reliability, according to the API （American Petroleum Institute） 579 recommended target reliability to determine the operating pressure of the different regions, and design coefficient method, the calculated results are compared, results of calculation reliability is more reasonable and improve the delivery pressure of the area, the pipeline safety management provides the basis.

经济全球化和文化认同

With economic globalization,the issue of cultural identity becomes especially prominent and urgent.There was no this problem in ancient China.It arises parallel with the process of the Chinese modernization.However,it remains unresolved.Our history and tradition can provide the basis for cultural identity,but they can not establish a new identity.The self?identity of the modern nation state includes three aspects:the political ideal,the commitment for values and the cultural character.The cultural identity of modern China can merely be the result of the active interplay between us and our tradition,between other cultures and Modernity.It will make the Chinese way of development really possible.

今年43岁的陈永明,1983年10月公派赴日本留学,以全优的成绩于1991年3月获日本筑波大学教育学博士学位。为促进我国教育事业的发展,曾与我驻日本大使馆一起筹办了“中国在日学人教育研究会”并任会长。1992年回华东师大比较教育研究所从事教学与研究工作。现为华东师大比较教育研究所副教授。 在日本学习期间,由于学业成绩与研究成绩优秀,陈永明分别在日本外务省和外交协会举办的全国性论文征集以及国际问题讨论会上,荣获日本“外务大臣奖”和“优秀论文奖”。曾三次应邀在日本NHK电视台举办的教育专题中就中日两国的教育问题发表论述,获得广泛好评。

Fatigue behavior of high-entropy alloys： A review

Fatigue failures cost approximately 4% of the United States' gross domestic product(GDP). The design of highly fatigue-resistant materials is always in demand. Different from conventional strategies of alloy design, high-entropy alloys(HEAs) are defined as materials with five or more principal elements, which could be solid solutions. This locally-disordered structure is expected to lead to unique fatigue-resistant properties. In this review, the studies of the fatigue behavior of HEAs during the last five years are summarized. The four-point-bending high-cycle fatigue coupled with statistical modelling, and the fatigue-crack-growth behavior of HEAs, are reviewed. The effects of sample defects and nanotwins-deformation mechanisms on four-point-bending high-cycle fatigue of HEAs are discussed in detail. The influence of stress ratio and temperature on fatigue-crack-growth characteristics of HEAs is also discussed. HEAs could exhibit comparable or greater fatigue properties, relative to conventional materials. Finally,the possible future work regarding the fatigue behavior of HEAs is suggested.

The Chinese Logic of Consultative Governance

Contemporary China needs to change from a Western to a Chinese-style governance discourse so as to form and explore a consultative governance discourse with Chinese characteristics. This is profoundly evident in the following： the Marxist philosophy of the state is the theoretical premise of contemporary China＇s consultative governance; traditional Chinese thought on governance and practice are the soil in which contemporary Chinese consultative govemance grows; socialism with Chinese characteristics is the realm in which contemporary Chinese consultative governance exists; the masses under the leadership of the CPC are the necessary subjects of contemporary Chinese consultative governance; and the target of contemporary Chinese consultative governance is a multi-layered and diverse existence. Realization of national governance through consultative democracy is the basic form of contemporary Chinese consultative governance; the balanced development ofpublic, collective and individual interests is the basic objective of contemporary Chinese consultative governance; the basic principles of contemporary Chinese consultative governance are equality, inclusiveness and peace; and the criteria for assessing contemporary Chinese consultative governance are authority, consensus, institutions and the rule of law. Guided by the Marxist view of the state, rooted in the tradition of China＇s fine political culture, and founded on the theoretical and practical claims of socialism with Chinese characteristics, socialist consultative governance with Chinese characteristics constitutes the Chinese form of contemporary governance theory.

Cross-national Buddhism and Identity Construction in Ch＇oe Ch＇iwon＇s ＂Four Mountains Stele＂

This paper aims to evaluate how Chart Buddhism played a part in Buddhist discourses reflecting an increased sense of legitimacy in ninth-century East Asia. It may not surprise us that the sinicisation of Buddhism implies a process of identity construction to place China in the centre. Culture and religion joined together in this process, first in China and then in Korea. However, the location of centrality or marginality was not fixed in Buddhist ontology. Rather, innovative Buddhist intellects such as Ch＇oe Ch＇iwon （b. 857 A.D.） ventured to create a reversal of centre and margin. In Ch＇oe Ch＇iwon＇s inscriptions for four Korean Son schools （the total of nine schools are also known as nine mountains）, an attempt to supersede China through Chan Buddhism is conspicuous. It is particularly inter- esting to note that, in the context of the cross-border transmission of Buddhism, the mobility of ＂Chan patriarchs＂ was essential in maintaining the legitimacy and continuity. This characteristic of the mobility of Chan patriarchs is seen in the Korean masters depicted by Ch＇oe Ch＇iwon＇s, namely Chingam, Ranghye and Chijong.

Theorizing the Gendered Patriarchy of the Huaxia:Constancy(jing)/Expedience(quan)and Continuity(yin)/Change(bian)—From Male/Female Distinction to Inner/Outer Distinction in the Context of the Order of Family and State

The gender-based patriarchy of the Huaxia people,consisting of family and state order,inner/outer distinction and gender-based hierarchy,took shape in the period of radical transformation when the Zhou dynasty replaced the Shang dynasty and reached maturity in the Han dynasty,which had been established in the wake of the radical transformation conducted by the Zhou and Qin dynasties.On the basis of the principles of male/female distinction and the integration of family and state,Western Zhou aristocrats abolished the state structure the inner and outer governance systems(nei/waifuzhi内外服制),carried on in part the main patrilineage and surname exogamy of the Shang dynasty,and established the Huaxia patriarchal system.During the Qin and Han dynasties,the patriarchal system evolved into family and state isomorphism characterized by power-sharing between the royal house and its officials and by a two-pronged kinship system in which the male line was inner and the female line was outer.The system thus evolved into the Huaxia gender-based patriarchy,which covered spatial spheres,division of responsibilities,the kinship system,values and ethics,and codes of daily interaction and conduct.The distinction between the inner and the outer was not only a core value of the gender-based patriarchy but also its operational strategy.It also engendered such inter-related sub-systems as human functions,ethics and gender and such philosophical systems as the unity of heaven and man and the cosmic binaries of yin-yang(阴阳)and qian-kun(乾坤).The constancy(经jing)/Expedience(权quan)and Continuity(因yin)/Change(变bian)of the gender-based patriarchy,the jing/quan at the heart of the basic system and governance strategy within its constraints jointly ensured the stability and dynamism of the gender-based patriarchy of the Huaxia people.

MODELING THE SPREAD OF HIV IN A STAGE STRUCTURED POPULATION： EFFECT OF AWARENESS

Human immunodeficiency virus （HIV） is a lenti-virus （a member of the retrovirus family） that causes acquired immunodeficieney syndrome （AIDS）, a critical condition in humans in which progressive failure of the immune system allows life-threatening opportunis- tic infections. Over the past few years HIV has been spreading rapidly in the popula- tion. Almost, everyday there are thousands of new human cases of HIV infection being recorded in the world and these occur in almost every country of the world. However, the spread of HIV is relatively faster in the developing countries as compared to developed countries because developing countries have limited resources. Worldwide, 70% of HIV infections in the adults have been transmitted through heterosexual contact and vertical transmission accounts for more than 90~ of global infection in infants and children. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear mathematical model to study the spread of HIV by considering transmission of disease by heterosexual contact and vertical transmission. A stage structured model is proposed and analyzed by considering the total population variable and dividing the whole population under consideration into three stages： chil- dren, adults and old. Also, in this paper it is assumed that the rates of recruitment are different in different groups of population. Equilibria of the model and their stability are also discussed. Using the stability theory of differential equations and computer simu- lation, it is shown that due to the increase in the awareness of the disease in the adult class the total infective population decreases in the region under consideration.
