A surgical simulation and evaluation method in the anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)reconstructionwith image-free navigation was presented.Firstly,video tracking module,bone surface reconstructionmodule and virtual simu...A surgical simulation and evaluation method in the anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)reconstructionwith image-free navigation was presented.Firstly,video tracking module,bone surface reconstructionmodule and virtual simulation module of this system were discussed.Secondly,the coordinate relations ofseveral surgery objects(including surgical instrument,anatomical,camera and screen)in the surgicalenvironment,the tracking based on MicronTracker with two cameras and the bone surface real-time recon-struction based on the Delaunay algorithm were introduced in detail.Finally,experiments of anisometrymeasurement and virtual simulation on two plastics were carried out to verify the validity of the proposedmethod.The anisometry value of reconstructed ACL was 8.970039mm.The effectiveness of ACL recon-struction has been proved by preliminary evaluation trials.展开更多

Cell death was assessed by Live/Dead staining and image analysis. Reaulta The EPCs death rate seemed not affected by 48 h hypoxia ( P 〉 0. 05 ), but affected by SD ( P 〈 0. 01 ). Prolonged hypoxia concomitant with SD resulted in the death of nearly all EPCs from 72 h, but this rate was remarkably reduced when with 20% fetal bovine serum( P 〈 0. 01 ). Conclusion Our findings indicate that EPCs are sensitive to hypoxia/SD stimuli, while serum may be the more important factor for EPCs survival.展开更多

In this process two groups a...The paper first introduces and analyzes the merits and demerits of some traditional methods of evaluating the grade of clothing fit. Then a computer-aided evaluating method is put forward. In this process two groups are needed. The control group is made up of people who wear maillot while the experimental group consists of those who wear target clothes to be evaluated. People in these two groups are taken photos respectively from front, back and lateral sides. The photos are input computer and receive a series of image processing using Open CV which provides the open source library function including image preprocessing, edge detection and image segmentation, etc. Finally, taking the clothing ease into account, the processed data is used for region matching and evaluating the grade of clothing fit.展开更多

In contrast to most existing methods that use linear transformations or models to represent images, we employ a complex mathematical expression of high dimensionality to reveal the statistical characteristics of the images. Furthermore, by introducing kernel methods to transform the linear problem into a nonlinear one, a full-reference image quality assessment method is proposed based on high-dimensional nonlinear feature extraction. Experiments on the LIVE, TID2008, and CSIQ databases demonstrate that nonlinear features offer competitive performance for image inherent quality representation and the proposed method achieves a promising performance that is consistent with human subjective evaluation.展开更多
