Hot deformation behavior of extrusion preform of the spray-formed Al-9.0Mg-0.5Mn-0.1Ti alloy was studied using hot compression tests over deformation temperature range of 300-450 ℃ and strain rate range of 0.01... Hot deformation behavior of extrusion preform of the spray-formed Al-9.0Mg-0.5Mn-0.1Ti alloy was studied using hot compression tests over deformation temperature range of 300-450 ℃ and strain rate range of 0.01-10 s-1. On the basis of experiments and dynamic material model, 2D processing maps and 3D power dissipation maps were developed for identification of exact instability regions and optimization of hot processing parameters. The experimental results indicated that the efficiency factor of energy dissipate (η) lowered to the minimum value when the deformation conditions located at the strain of 0.4, temperature of 300 ° C and strain rate of 1 s-1. The softening mechanism was dynamic recovery, the grain shape was mainly flat, and the portion of high angle grain boundary (〉15°) was 34%. While increasing the deformation temperature to 400 ° C and decreasing the strain rate to 0.1 s-1, a maximum value of η was obtained. It can be found that the main softening mechanism was dynamic recrystallization, the structures were completely recrystallized, and the portion of high angle grain boundary accounted for 86.5%. According to 2D processing maps and 3D power dissipation maps, the optimum processing conditions for the extrusion preform of the spray-formed Al?9.0Mg?0.5Mn?0.1Ti alloy were in the deformation temperature range of 340-450 ° C and the strain rate range of 0.01-0.1 s-1 with the power dissipation efficiency range of 38%?43%. 展开更多

The hot deformation behavior of 7A55 aluminum alloy was investigated at the temperature ranging from 300 ℃ to 450 ℃ and strain rate ranging from 0.01 s-1 to 1 s-1 on a Gleeble-3500 simulator. Processing maps were established in order to apprehend the kinetics of hot deformation and the rate controlling mechanism was interpreted by the kinetic rate analysis obeying power-law relation. The results indicated that one significant domain representing dynamic recrystallization (DRX) existed on the processing maps and lying in 410-450 &#176;C and 0.05-1 s-1. The conclusions of kinetic analysis correlated well with those obtained from processing maps. The apparent activation energy values calculated in the dynamic recrystallization (DRX) domain and the stability regions except dynamic recrystallization (DRX) domain were 91.2 kJ/mol and 128.8 kJ/mol, respectively, which suggested that grain boundary self-diffusion and cross-slip were the rate controlling mechanisms. 展开更多

A novel framework for parallel subgraph isomorphism on GPUs is proposed, named GPUSI, which consists of GPU region exploration and GPU subgraph matching. The GPUSI iteratively enumerates subgraph instances and solves the subgraph isomorphism in a divide-and-conquer fashion. The framework completely relies on the graph traversal, and avoids the explicit join operation. Moreover, in order to improve its performance, a task-queue based method and the virtual-CSR graph structure are used to balance the workload among warps, and warp-centric programming model is used to balance the workload among threads in a warp. The prototype of GPUSI is implemented, and comprehensive experiments of various graph isomorphism operations are carried on diverse large graphs. The experiments clearly demonstrate that GPUSI has good scalability and can achieve speed-up of 1.4–2.6 compared to the state-of-the-art solutions. 展开更多

The hot deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of 6082 aluminum alloy fabricated through squeeze casting(SC)under different pressures were studied.The alloy was subjected to hot compression tests and 3D hot processing maps were established.The microstructure evolution was studied by optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),and electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD).It is found that more dynamic recrystallization(DRX)grains are generated during the deformation of the specimen fabricated under higher SC pressure.At high temperature the effect of SC pressure on microstructure evolution weakens due to the dissolution of second phase particles.In addition,uneven second phase particles in specimens fabricated under higher SC pressure compressed with low temperature and middle strain rate would result in flow localization instability.Finally,the optimum deformation conditions for the 6082 aluminum alloy fabricated by SC were obtained at the temperatures of 430−500℃ and the strain rates of 0.01−1 s^(−1). 展开更多

The hot deformation behavior of as-solutionized Mg 8Sn 2Zn 0.5Cu(TZC820)alloy was investigated experimentally and numerically via isothermal compression tests at 250400℃and strain rate range of 0.013 s 1 on a Gleeble 1500D thermomechanical simulator.Results show that the deformation temperature and strain rate signi cantly affected ow stress and material constants.In addition,the strain-compensated constitutive relationship was established on the basis of true stress strain curves.The main deformation mechanism for this alloy was the dynamic recrystallization(DRX),and the DRX degree was effectively enhanced with an increase in deformation temperature and a decrease in strain rate.Moreover,the cellular automaton method was used to simulate the microstructure evolution during hot compression.In addition,the processing maps were established,and the optimum deformation parameters for the as-solutionized TZC820 alloy are at 370400℃and 0.01 s 1,and at 320360℃and 13 s 1. 展开更多

The determination of intrinsic deformation parameters inducing grain refinement mechanism of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) contributes to the relative forming process design. For Ni80A superalloy, the processing maps were constructed by the derivation of the stress-strain data coming from a series of isothermal compression tests at temperatures of 1273^-1473 K and strain rates of 0.01-10 s^-1. According to the processing maps and microstructural validation, the deformation parameter windows with DRX mechanism were separated in an innovative deformation mechanism map. In addition, the deformation activation energy representing deformation energy barrier was introduced to further optimize such windows. Finally, the enhanced processing maps were constructed and the parameter domains corresponding to DRX mechanism and lower deformation barrier were determined as follows: at ε=0.3, domains: 1296-1350 K, 0.056-0.32 s^-1 and 1350-1375 K, 0.035-0.11 s^-1;at ε=0.5, domains: 1290-1348 K, 0.2-0.5 s^-1 and 1305-1370 K, 0.035-0.2 s^-1;at ε=0.7, domains: 1290-1355 K, 0.042-0.26 s^-1;at ε=0.9, domains: 1298-1348 K, 0.037-0.224 s^-1. 展开更多

The commonly used data structures--rectangular array structure and quadtree structure ,are analyzed. Two compressed data structures--compressed circular link array structure and compressed doubly-linked circular array structure,are proposed,which are much more suitable for displaying the regularly gridded block model. When the two compressed data structures are adopted,the storage space can be tremendously saved and the algorithms are simple,while the requirements of the accuracy and the manipulating speed will be both satisfied for the interactive open pit short range plan formulation. 展开更多

In this paper, we show one of the possibility utilizing typical origami structures for civil engineering fields such as the bridge bearing support. We numerically investigate axial spring constants and buckling behaviors of bellows-like origami tube structures. The bellows-like origami tube structures, which can be folded because of elastic deformations, work as a kind of spring. If the initial heights of the bellows-like origami tubes are less than 90% of the height of the prismatic tubes without bellows-like folded lines, the spring constants of the bellows-like tubes are very low compared with those of the prismatic tubes. The buckling loads and patterns of the bellows-like tubes vary depending on the initial heights of the tubes. 展开更多

The use of visible and infrared remote sensing images to calculate the water area is an effective means to grasp the basic situation of water resources,and water segmentation is the premise of statistics.Generally,the edge features of the water in the remote sensing images are complex.When the traditional morphology is used for image segmentation,it is easy to change the image edge and affect the accuracy of image segmentation because the fixed structuring elements are used to perform morphological operations on the image.To segment water in the remote sensing image accurately,a remote sensing image water segmentation method based on adaptive morphological elliptical structuring elements is proposed.Firstly,the eigenvalue and eigenvector of the image are estimated by linear structure tensor,and the elliptical structuring elements are constructed by the eigenvalue and eigenvector.Then adaptive morphological operations are defined,combining the close operation to eliminate the influence of dark detail noise on water without overstretching the water edge,so that the water edge can be maintained more accurately.Finally,on this basis,the water area can be segmented by gray slice.The experimental results show that the proposed method has higher segmentation accuracy and the average segmentation error is less than 1.43%. 展开更多

This paper aims at designing a better net-work i,,imozatopm strategy to fight against the Sus- ceptible-Infected-Susceptible (SIS) type epidemic spreading in networks. Previous work used the nurrber of drops in the spectral radius of the net-work for evaluation and guiding the design of im-munization strategies. Instead, we propose using the infected node number in the steady state of SIS spreading as the appropriate metric. We use the metric to point out the limitations of the Equal Graph Partitioning (EGP) strategy and the "max-△λ" strategy, which are two representative network inmmnization strategies, and then identify the criti-cal role of epidemic spreading parameters in the e-valuation and design of network immuzization strat- egies. Based on all of these, we design a new immuzization strategy. Simulation results show that our strategy performs consistently better than the EGP strategy. In many cases, it uses only 50% less re-sources to achieve the same immuzization effect. 展开更多

Influence of Holding Time on Hot Deformation Behavior of Hard-Deformed Superalloy U720Li

To improve the hot workability of hard-deformed superalloy U720Li,the effect of holding time before deformation(5 and 10 min)on hot deformation behavior was investigated by hot compression tests.Results show that the flow stress increases with increase in strain rate,while decreases with increase in deformation temperature and holding time.Based on the obtained Arrhenius-type constitutive models,the calculated peak stresses are in good agreement with experimental values,indicating that this model can accurately predict the hot deformation behavior of U720Li alloy,and the deformation activation energies for the holding time of 5 and 10 min were calculated to be 992.006 and 850.996 kJ·mol^(-1),respectively.Moreover,processing maps of U720Li alloy with these two holding durations were constructed.Through observation of deformation microstructures in each domain of the processing maps,the optimal hot working conditions for the holding time of 5 min are determined to be 1090‒1110℃/1‒10 s^(-1) and 1146‒1180℃/1‒10 s^(-1),and the optimal hot working conditions for the holding time of 10 min are 1080‒1090℃/1‒10 s-1 and 1153‒1160℃/1‒10 s^(-1),indicating that the safe processing window can be obviously enlarged by shortening the holding time reasonably.In the absence of cracking,the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)grain size increases gradually with increasing the deformation temperature and holding time,but it first decreases and then increases with the increase in strain rate.When the deformation temperature is below 1100℃,the DRX mechanism is mainly the particle-induced continuous DRX.As the temperature is raised to above 1130℃,the main DRX mechanism changes to discontinuous DRX. 展开更多

This paper considers the problem of estimating the bounds on the average controlled direct effects (ACDEs) of a treatment variable on an unobserved response variable in the presence of unobserved confounders between an intermediate variable and the response variable. When the response variable is observed, Cai, et al.(2008) derived the formulas for the sharp bounds on the ACDEs. When the response variable is unobserved, the authors propose a graphical criterion for selecting variables affected by the response variable to derive the formulas for the bounds on the ACDEs, which is an extension of the result of Kuroki(2005) to ACDEs. The results enable us not only to judge from the graph structure whether the bounds on the ACDEs can be expressed through observed variables when the response variable is unobserved, but also to provide their formulas when the answer is affirmative. 展开更多

In frictional soil, the failure surface has the shape of logarithm helicoid, with the outline profile defined by a log- spiral curve. The internal dissipation rate of energy caused by soil cohesion and gravity power of the failure soil is obtained through theoretical derivation. By solving the energy balance equation, the stability factor for the excavation is obtained. Influence of the ratio of width to height, the slope angle, and the top angle on the stability is examined. Numerical results of the proposed algorithm are presented in the form of non dimensional graph. Examples illustrate the practical use of the results. 展开更多
