The exploitation of coal resources inevitably affects, to different degrees, arable land resources and impacts the socio-economic development in mining areas. Therefore it is of great practical importance to probe the rules of the effect from coal resource exploration on arable land. Suitable and effective measures to compensate for damaged to and loss of arable land resources should be taken on the basis of carrying out green mining and reducing damage to limited arable land resources. We have used GIS in simulating the effect of coal resource exploration on arable land. In light of our simulation of the space-time spectrum, the effect is analyzed. Given the socio-economic development conditions of a mining area, specified rational amounts and opportunities for compensation to arable land in mining areas are explored. Finally, from a policy perspective, relevant proposals for rational arable land resource compensation are proposed to facilitate the coordinated development between coal resource exploitation and socio-economy development in mining areas. 展开更多

In order to fulfill the needs of life-support oxygen supply during the development of plateau mineral resources,four oxygen supply patterns suitable for the plateau mine in specific environment were developed:tunnel face diffusive oxygen supply,tunnel oxygen-bar car,carried oxygen cylinder and portable oxygen generator. Through the study of safety oxygen supply experiments in low- pressure plateau areas,the mathematical relationship between maximum integration of secure oxygen volume and altitude has been achieved. Oxygen supply safety control should follow this relationship in plateau mines during the time of executing tunnel face or in room air diffusive oxygen supply. The application results of life-support oxygen supplement technologies in the development of mineral resources in high altitude areas show that the oxygen supply for tunneling miners in plateau mines can not only effectively enhance the oxygen saturation,reduce the pulse rate and the breath rate per minute,but also improve various symptoms caused by altitude hypoxia and high-intensity physical labor. 展开更多

The GIS (geographic information system) used for predicting the associated with upper-intrusive zone of hydrothermal alteration IOCG (iron-oxide copper gold) mineralizing systems is shown by example of the northeast of Russian. IOCG ore deposits can have enormous geological resources with significant reserves of base, precious and strategic metals, are economically attractive targets for mineral exploration worldwide, but are still unknown in the northeast Russian. It was localized in Tarinskiy ore node (eastern Yakutia) field of brecciated altered rocks with sulfide and iron-oxide cement is a first in eastern Yakutia nature anomaly of IOCG-type with iron-oxide Cu-Au ± U specialization, that was formed close to the surface of Rep-Yuruinskiy pluton. It should be of interest as a new precious metals world class deposit type in northeast of Russia. 展开更多

Along with the economic development,large tunnels need to be constructed in many high mountains or complex structure regions,and the design and construction of detailed tunnel exploration become particularly important.Transient electromagnetic method( TEM) uses a non-grounded loop or an electrode to send a primary electromagnetic pulse into the ground,and observes spatial and temporal distribution of secondary electromagnetic field,which is widely applied in mineral resource exploration,engineering geology,etc.The application of TEM in the tunnel construction of Kaiyuan Temple is researched in this study.The smoke loop inversion is adopted for inverting the transient electromagnetic data.The drilling data and high density resistivity method data are combined for comparison.The obtained inversion result greatly coincides with the actual conditions.Therefore,the geophysical prospecting basis can be provided for the division of stratum,delineation of geological structure,and design and construction of tunnel pavement.By virtue of TEM,drilling data and high density resistivity method,the tunnel construction of Kaiyuan Temple has obtained satisfactory results. 展开更多

East Kalimantan province is one of the largest coal deposit reserve source, especially in the mining and quarrying sector. Mining sector is a strategic sector in East Kalimantan but post coal mining land has the problem for land using. The research method used survey method and laboratory test on 21 entities/companies with the status of cooperative and non-cooperative approach and land resource evaluation on 30 respondent keys (key informant). Analysis of data is using the evaluation of land potential: Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), IRR, NPV and BCR. The results showed that there are 2 scenarios decisions in the development of coal mining region that is the optimistic scenario on 2 aspects namely: (1) tourism (recreational parks and historical tours) and (2) aspects of the fishery (tilapia, goldfish, catfish). Then, in the moderate scenario, there are 3 aspects of development: (1) services (administration and housing); (2) fisheries (cork fish and damselfish) and (3) agriculture (guava, melinjo and dragon fruit). Optimizing the utilization of post-coal mining land in the regency of Kutai Kartanegara can be carried out with reference to these two types of scenarios as a manifestation of an engine of regional development. 展开更多
