They are composed of active deposits in the regular distributed tectonic lithofacies zones. This indicates that the late Paleozoic strata belong to continental margin deposits. According to the strong conformability of the sedimentary strata in the same continental margin and distinct differences among the three continental margins, three stratigraphical regions of the Jiamusi-Mongolia Stratigraphical Province are recognized along the northern, southern and eastern margins of the Jiamusi-Mongolia Block, named respectively as Xing'an Stratigraphical Region, Inner Mongolia grass-Songhua River Stratigraphical Region and Baoqing-Hunchun Stra- tigraphical Region. Due to the characteristics of continental margin deposits and active sediments, the strata can be correlated on the level of formation by the methods of analysing the rock association in the same stratigraphic region. Therefore, some revisions of the lithologieal formations of the late Paleozoic strata in northeastern China have been made, and a new chart of lithostratigraphic correlation has been proposed. Furthermore, the present stratigraphic framework is setting on the International Stratigraphic Chart on the level of stage, after comprehen- sive researches to lithostratigraphy, biostratigraphy and chronostratigraphy, especially the conodont biostratigra- phy and isotopic ages of volcanic rocks obtained in recent years.展开更多

The objective of the present study was to explore its application for mapping in subsurface agricultural soils to a depth of several meters. For a loamy sand and a clayey site on the North China Plain, clay inclusions in the sand were detected; the thickness, inclination, and continuity of the confining clay and silt layers was assessed; and a local water table was mapped. Direct sampling (soil coring and profiling) in the top meter and independent measurement of the water table were utilized to confirm the findings. Also, effective estimates of the dielectric number for the site with the dielectric number of moist clayey soils depending strongly on frequency were obtained. Thus, important properties of soils, like the arrangement and type of layers and in particular their continuity and inclination, could be explored with moderate efforts for rather large areas to help find optimal locations for the time-consuming and expensive measurements which would be necessary to detail a model of the subsurface.展开更多

The result~ indicate that when considering the existence of surface buildings, the relative story displacements and internal forces of subway structures are changed greatly. Further the influence of surface buildings on subway structure changes as the distance increases.展开更多

Through morphotectonic analysis about this surface, the authors are able tounderstand the distribution characteristics of the main topographic irregularities, with the blockstructure of the lower cover floors and underlying complexes as the focus. The largest irregularities are caused by the presence of three regional altitude steps, which show a regional tendency of basement being submerged in the north-north-east direction. Within these irregularities, the authors have distinguished some regions, which can be divided, based on the characteristics of morphostructural distribution, into two groups, i.e., areal (Nadym, Tol'ka, Urengoy)and belt (Tarko-Sale, Russko-Chasel'ka and Messoyakha). The first ones represent quasihomogeneous blocks, whose surfaces are complicated by irregular low-amplitude elevations and troughs and low-gradient zones with gradient values being up to 0.03, or they submerge stepwise, with the leveled areas being separated by zones with high gradients (0.07-0.15). The morphostructure of the other group of regions is characterized by the en-echelon distribution of contrastingly positive and negative elements with high values of slope gradients (higher than 0.1-0.2).展开更多

The research was held in summer time of 2010. Quantitative and qualitative features and dominating types of zooplankton of the individual reservoirs are shown. It is detected that the waters of the South Kazakhstan oblast (region) are inhabited by 70 types of zooplankton organisms of different taxonomic groups, whose association to certain reservoir depends on the hydrochemical indicators of the aquatic environment.展开更多

Those black cotton soils are out of season's sorghum loft, locally called as muskwari. As the staple diet in the Cameroonian dry areas, this crop becomes more and more an alternative to drying or better to climate changes. Till now, those soils are considered to be lacustrine or they are resulting just from weathering, according to pedologic researchs. The purpose of this communication, therefore, is to show the effects of Harmattan on the basis of our field's observations, investigations and superficial deposits' analysis: granulometry and diffractometry in the laboratory. Harmattan is a dry and stable air mass which originates from the saharian anticyclone. Its participation in edaphics process is very relevant. Indeed, dust storms take place throughout the dry season and vertisoil spreads out on various topographic locations bringing about homogeneity of texture and similarity of mineralogic spectrum. Their high kaolinite content, thin granulometric component (fine sand, silt and clay) are indicative of Aeolian loessial dust deposits. It could not be something else in this area of the most southern saharian blow of the great Saharo-Sahelian GWAS (global wind action system) in sub-equatorial latitudes, in line with the venturi formed by Ennedi and Tibesti mountains.展开更多
