A low density parity check(LDPC)encoder with the codes of(8176,7154)and encoding rate of 7/8 under CCSDS standard for near space communication is designed.Based on LDPC encoding theory,the FPGA-based coding algorithm ...A low density parity check(LDPC)encoder with the codes of(8176,7154)and encoding rate of 7/8 under CCSDS standard for near space communication is designed.Based on LDPC encoding theory,the FPGA-based coding algorithm is designed.Based on the characteristics of LDPC generating matrix,the cyclic shift register is introduced as the core of the encoding circuit,and the shift-register-Adder-Accumulator(SRAA)structure is adopted to realize the fast calculation of matrix multiplication,so as to construct the encoding module with partial parallel encoding circuit as the core.In addition,the serial port input and output module,RAM storage module and control module are also designed,which together constitute the encoder system.The design scheme is implemented by FPGA hardware and verified by simulation and experiment.The results show that the test results of the designed LDPC encoder are consistent with the theoretical results.Therefore,the coding system is practical,and the design method is simple and efficient.展开更多

To solve the real-time transmission problem of displacement fields in digital image correlation,two compression coding algorithms based on a discrete cosine transform(DCT)and discrete wavelet transform(DWT)are propose...To solve the real-time transmission problem of displacement fields in digital image correlation,two compression coding algorithms based on a discrete cosine transform(DCT)and discrete wavelet transform(DWT)are proposed.Based on the Joint Photographic Experts Group(JPEG)and JPEG 2000 standards,new non-integer and integer quantizations are proposed in the quantization procedure of compression algorithms.Displacement fields from real experiments were used to evaluate the compression ratio and computational time of the algorithm.The results show that the compression ratios of the DCT-based algorithm are mostly below 10%,which are much less than that of the DWT-based algorithm,and the computational speed is also significantly higher than that of the latter.These findings prove the algorithm s effectiveness in real-time displacement field wireless transmission.展开更多
In many electrical grids worldwide, the rising amount of installed PV (photovoltaic) power entails a considerable influence of PV systems on grid quality and stability. Consequently, in the wake of the revised Germa...In many electrical grids worldwide, the rising amount of installed PV (photovoltaic) power entails a considerable influence of PV systems on grid quality and stability. Consequently, in the wake of the revised German medium voltage directives issued in 2009, new requirements for PV inverters have been established internationally. At Fraunhofer ISE's Inverter Laboratory, approximately 25 large PV inverters with a nominal power of up to 880 kVA have been characterized in the past three years. In this period, the focus of many inverter manufacturers has begun to shift from traditional European markets towards an international perspective. Therefore, experiences with numerous different grid codes have been gained by our team. This work summarizes the similarities and differences between these grid codes. Additionally, several requirements that have proved to be critical will be examined. Finally, the adequacy of these grid codes to guarantee the safe and reliable operation of electrical grids is discussed.展开更多

It is usually produced in embryonic tissues during development and...Survivin(coding gene BIRC5) is a dual functional protein acting as a critical inhibitor of apoptosis(IAP) and key regulator of cell cycle progression. It is usually produced in embryonic tissues during development and undetectable in most adult tissues.Overexpression of Survivin frequently occurs in various human cancers and increased Survivin correlates with poor clinic outcome, tumor recurrence, and therapeutic resistance. Because of its selective expression in tumor, but not normal tissues,Survivin has been recognized as an attractive target for cancer treatment. Although several therapeutic approaches targeting Survivin are actively under clinical trials in human cancers, to date no Survivin-targeted therapy has been approved for cancer treatment. Numerous studies have devoted to uncovering the underlying mechanism resulting in Survivin dysregulation at multiple levels, such as transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation. The current article provides a literature review on the transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of Survivin expression in human cancers. We focus on the impact of DNA methylation and histone modifications, including specific lysine methylation, demethylation, and acetylation on the expression of Survivin.The latest development of epigenetic approaches targeting Survivin for cancer treatment are also discussed.展开更多
