A suitable and efficient flotation collector at normal atmospheric temperature for Donganshan iron ore was developed.A new chelate collector W-2 was synthesized.At 30 °C,condition flotation tests on mixed magneti...A suitable and efficient flotation collector at normal atmospheric temperature for Donganshan iron ore was developed.A new chelate collector W-2 was synthesized.At 30 °C,condition flotation tests on mixed magnetic concentrate of Donganshan sintering plant established the best reagent system.With the optimum reagent system,one direct flotation and one reverse flotation including one roughing,one cleaning and two scavenging stages have been conducted.After closed-circuit flotation,excellent indices were obtained with grade of siderite concentrate of 36.49%,recovery rate of 10.65%,and loss on ignition of 11.17%,and the grade of hematite concentrate reached 66.27%,with recovery rate of 78.25%,tailing grade of 16.22%,and recovery rate of 11.10%.To analyze the mechanism of action from W-2 to quartz and siderite,zeta potential and FTIR spectra were detected.Results showed that after reaction with W-2,the zeta potential of quartz and siderite evidently changed,which resulted from hydrogen bond between quartz and W-2,and a certain chemical action between siderite and W-2.In addition,the electronegativity equalization principle was used to calculate electronegativity of active adsorption sites and analysis on reagent molecular structure showed that W-2 molecule had five active adsorption sites.Results showed that the electronegativity of atoms N and O in W-2 presented a substantial increase,and the synergy of atomic sites allowed considerable enhancement of collecting ability.展开更多

In the present study, the modified (non-Keggin-type) aqueous solutions of Mo-V-phosphoric heteropoly acids HaPzMoyVx,Oh (HPA-x') were applied as homogeneous catalysts for the two-stage oxidation of TMP (2,3,6-tr...In the present study, the modified (non-Keggin-type) aqueous solutions of Mo-V-phosphoric heteropoly acids HaPzMoyVx,Oh (HPA-x') were applied as homogeneous catalysts for the two-stage oxidation of TMP (2,3,6-trimethylphenol) by oxygen into TMQ (2,3,5-trimethyl-l,4-benzoquinone), the latter being the key intermediate in the synthesis of vitamin E. The TMQ yield was analyzed regarding solvent type, reaction temperature, molar HPA-x ':TMP ratio, and the concentration of vanadium (V) in the HPA-x' solution. The TMQ yield was found to depend strongly on the catalyst redox potential and the rate of electron transfer. The results obtained enabled to establish the optimal reaction conditions as well as to suggest the reaction mechanism. In the target reaction, which proceeds in the two-phase system, the TMQ yield is higher than 99%. After phase separation, the catalyst is rapidly regenerated by oxygen and reused.展开更多

The sampl...The target products were prepared by homogeneous precipitation method using SDS and PEG 800, respectively, as surfactant at a reaction temperature of 95 ℃ for 3 h, followed by calcination at 400 ~C for 3 h. The samples were charac- terized and analyzed by XRD, SEM, FTIR and zeta potential measurements. The products were modified with different sur- factants to improve their dispersion stability, both the amount and the best zeta potential values of which were identified in this work. The surface-modified nano-particles were added at a mass fraction of 1.0%, 2.0%, 3.0%, and 4.0%, respectively, into the base oil. It was showed that the additive in base oil has good oil solubility without detectable corrosion of copper stripe, and had excellent behavior in terms of anti-wear performance and lower friction coefficient.展开更多

After arraying, the total saturation light output power and the maximum injection current are enhanced by 5.19 times and nearly 7 times, respectively. In addition, the test results demonstrate that the illuminance uniformity on the receiving surface reaches the optimum when the spacing between the arrays is equal to the maximum flat condition. The main content is as follows: (1) The principle of electronegativity equalization has gained wide acceptance, and has been used to calculate the intramolecular charge distribution and inductive effect of groups. A valence electrons equalization method was proposed to compute the molecular electronegativity on the basis of geometric mean method, harmonic mean method, and weighted mean method. This new calculation method further extended the application of the principle of electronegativity equalization. (2) A scale method was established for experimentally determining the electrophilic and nucleophilic ability of reagents, in which benzhydryliumions and quinone methides were taken as the reference compounds, and the research field was extended to the gas phase conditions, organometallic reaction and radicals system. Moreover, the nucleophilicity parameters N and electro- philicity parameters E for a series of reagents were obtained. The definition and quantitative expression of electrophilicity in- dex co and nucleophilicity index co were proposed theoretically, and the correlation between the parameters from experimental determination and the indexes from theoretical calculation was also investigated. (3) The polarizability effect parameter was initially calculated by empirical method and further developed by quantum chemistry method. Recently, the polarizability ef- fect index of alkyl (PEI) and groups (PEIx) were proposed by statistical method, and got wide applications in explaining and estimating gas-phase acidity and basicity, ionization energy, enthalpy of formation, bond energy, reaction rate, water solubility and chromatographic retention for organic compounds. (4) The excited-state substituent constant Crcc obtained directly from the UV absorption energy data of substituted benzenes, is different from the polar constants in molecular ground state and the radical spin-delocalization effects constants in molecular radical state. The proposed constant Crcc correlated well with the UV absorption energy of many kinds of organic compounds, such as 1,4-disubstituted benzenes, substituted stilbenes, and di- substituted N-benzylidenebenzenamine. (5) The establishment of the steric shielding effect distinguished the three traditional steric effects. The stereoselectivity index Ci was proposed to quantify the stereoselectivity of the addition reaction of carbonyl with nucleophilic reagent. The shielding parameter Rs was defined to quantitatively express the specific surface of the reac- tion center screened by a group. Further, the Topological Steric Effect Index (TSEI) of a group was proposed on the basis of the relative specific volume of reaction center screened by the atoms of substituents. These parameters can be applied in esti- mating the intramolecular dihedral angles, stereoselectivity of reaction, enthalpies of formation of alkenes and alkylbenzene, acidity of substitutedimidazolium ionic liquid, and the reaction rate of alkane and hydroxyl radical. In addition, some sugges- tions and prospects for further studies on quantifying the organic substituent effects were presented in this paper.展开更多
