水下风成噪声的垂直空间特性包括噪声垂直方向性和垂直相关性,研究海洋环境对其影响规律对提升声呐性能、增加海洋环境参数反演的准确性具有重要意义.本文利用Pekeris割线下的简正波理论描述噪声的传播过程,研究了深海环境下存在表面声... 水下风成噪声的垂直空间特性包括噪声垂直方向性和垂直相关性,研究海洋环境对其影响规律对提升声呐性能、增加海洋环境参数反演的准确性具有重要意义.本文利用Pekeris割线下的简正波理论描述噪声的传播过程,研究了深海环境下存在表面声道时,表面声道以下噪声垂直空间特性的变化规律及其原因.研究表明,在临界深度以上,表面声道的存在导致噪声垂直方向性在水平凹槽边缘靠近海底方向上的峰值升高,噪声垂直相关性随垂直距离增加先后周期地向正相干和负相干方向偏移;在临界深度以下,表面声道的存在导致水平方向上的噪声能量增强,噪声垂直相关性整体向正相干方向偏移.当表面声道的参数变化时,表面声道的厚度变化对噪声垂直空间特性影响较大,而表面声道内的声速梯度变化对噪声垂直空间特性几乎没有影响.结合各类简正波的变化分析表明,存在表面声道时,噪声源激发的折射简正波阶数增加,强度增强,是表面声道引起噪声垂直空间特性变化的主要原因. 展开更多

涡旋是深海环境中频繁出现的海洋现象,它会引起上层海水的声速扰动,改变海面风成噪声的传播过程,最终导致噪声场特性异常.本文采用高斯涡模型描述涡旋引起的声速扰动,分别使用射线和抛物方程模型描述近场和远场噪声信号的传播,研究了涡... 涡旋是深海环境中频繁出现的海洋现象,它会引起上层海水的声速扰动,改变海面风成噪声的传播过程,最终导致噪声场特性异常.本文采用高斯涡模型描述涡旋引起的声速扰动,分别使用射线和抛物方程模型描述近场和远场噪声信号的传播,研究了涡旋对其水平中心位置不同深度上的风成噪声垂直空间特性(包括噪声垂直方向性和垂直相关性)的影响.研究表明:1)在涡心深度上,涡旋对噪声垂直空间特性的影响最大,其中冷涡导致噪声垂直方向性中水平凹槽的宽度增加,凹槽下边缘峰值的高度降低,噪声垂直相关性减弱,暖涡的影响反之;2)在远离涡心的深度上,涡旋对噪声垂直空间特性的影响减小,冷涡和暖涡分别仅引起噪声垂直方向性中水平凹槽下边缘峰值的高度升高和降低,对噪声垂直相关性几乎没有影响;3)涡旋对噪声垂直空间特性的影响均随其绝对强度增大而增强.针对以上现象,使用射线逆推方法分析了涡旋影响噪声垂直空间特性的机理.该方法由噪声接收点发射声线,利用声场互易性分析噪声沿声线反向到达接收点的俯仰角和能量大小.分析表明,存在涡旋时,噪声沿海面反射声线反向到达接收点的俯仰角和能量变化,是引起噪声垂直空间特性变化的主要原因.此外,仿真表明,当接收点偏离涡旋水平中心但两者距离较近时,研究中的分析和结论仍是近似成立的. 展开更多

A heat center (HC) of the western Pacific warm pool (WPWP) is defined, its variability is examined, and a possible mechanism is discussed. Analysis and calculation of a temperature dataset from 1945-2006 show that the mean position of the HC during this period was near 0.4°S/169.0°E, at 38.0 m depth. From a time series of the HC, remarkable seasonal variability was found, mainly in the meridional and vertical directions. Interannual variabilities were dominant in the zonal and vertical directions. In addition, semiannual variation in the HC depth was discovered. The longitude of the HC varies with ENSO events, and its latitude is weakly related to ENSO on time scales shorter than a decade. The variation of the HC longitude leads the Nifio-3 index by about 3-4 months, and its depth lags the index for approximately 3 months. It is concluded that the HC depth results from a combination of its longitudinal and latitudinal variations. Low-pass-filtered time series reveal that the HC has moved eastward since the mid 1980s. 展开更多

In this paper,various aspects of the 2D and 3D nonlinear liquid sloshing problems in vertically excited containers have been studied numerically along with the help of a modified-transformation.Based on this new numerical algorithm,a numerical study on a regularly and randomly excited container in vertical direction was conducted utilizing four different cases: The first case was performed utilizing a 2D container with regular excitations.The next case examined a regularly excited 3D container with two different initial conditions for the liquid free surface,and finally,3D container with random excitation in the vertical direction.A grid independence study was performed along with a series of validation tests.An iteration error estimation method was used to stop the iterative solver(used for solving the discretized governing equations in the computational domain) upon reaching steady state of results at each time step.In the present case,this method was found to produce quite accurate results and to be more time efficient as compared to other conventional stopping procedures for iterative solvers.The results were validated with benchmark results.The wave elevation time history,phase plane diagram and surface plots represent the wave nonlinearity during its motion. 展开更多

Optimization for Maximum Nonlinear Buckling Load and Topics on Imperfection of Latticed Shells

The present paper represents comparison of continuum shells and latticed shells with qualitative analysis. For shells, the mechanical characteristics in the two perpendicular directions are continuous and related to each other, and any change in thickness will result in change in stiffness in any direction. In latticed shells, members are discrete and stiffnesses in two mutually perpendicular directions are discontinuous and independent of each other. Therefore, sensitivity of geometrical imperfection for buckling of latticed shells should be different from that of continuum shells. The author proposes a shape optimization method for maximum buckling load of a latticed shell. A single layer latticed dome is taken as a numerical example, and the results show that the buckling load parameter for full area loading case increases 32.75% compared to that of its initial shape. Furthermore, the numerical example demonstrates that an optimum latticed shell with maximum buckling load, unlike an optimum continuum shell, may not be sensitive to its geometrical imperfection. 展开更多

Stress sensitivity of coal samples in terms of anisotropy

The permeability and porosity of coal seams are anisotropic, and the variation of confining stress may induce deformation in coal samples. In order to study these characteristics, experiments and model analyses were conducted to understand the behaviors of anisotropic stress sensitivity of lean coal samples. The results showed as the closure of cleats and the generation of micro-cracks, the strong stress sensitivity of coal samples and the discrete changes in porosity were caused by confining pressure changes. In the compression period, the anisotropy trend first increased, and then decreased. In the direction perpendicular to the bedding plane, the permeability decrease rate and the irreversible damage rate were the highest. In the direction parallel to the cleats, permeability recovery rate was higher and the irreversible damage rate was lower along butt cleats. Compared to the cube root of permeability to porosity, a 1/6 power relationship was proved to be closer to the experiment results, the new relationship had the highest fit level in the face cleat direction, and the lowest fit level in the vertical direction 展开更多

The quality problem of the concrete body and backwall grouting of shaft lining must be taken into consideration during the engineering construction of the shaft. Detection and evaluation are needed to determine the parameters such as the location and depth of drilling. The record of elastic wave can be gained through laying the surveying lines of the ring and ver- tical direction in the shaft lining by the elastic wave method. And specifically, through analyzing the different parameters of seismic attribute such as the velocity of high frequency reflection wave, amplitude and frequency, the abnormal range on the wall or under the wall can be forecasted. The concrete quality of shallow layer in the shaft lining can be evaluated through the velocity of surfer wave. Using the evaluating technique of comprehensive frequency and the phase feature of waveform, the basic features such as inner construction, wall back filling and failure depth of shaft lining can be interpreted from qualitatively to half quantitatively, and the interpreting section can be drawn. The results show that the detection effect for the shaft quality is significant by elastic wave technique, and the delineation of abnormal areas is accurate. In order to research the vibration law of electrostatic suspension systems in the vertical direction, the mathematical model as a nonlinear differential equation is established. A series of simulation is carried out. The results show that the solution of the differential equation is a periodic function. The amplitude becomes bigger with the original velocity increased. The period becomes smaller with the original velocity increasing. The numerical methods are presented to derive the amplitude and the frequency, and the results coincide with that of the simulation. The condition during which the simple harmonic vibration arises is pointed out. The expressions for the amplitude and the period of simple harmonic vibration are derived respectively, and the results are the same with that of the simulation. This study is helpful for researching the vibration characteristics of the electrostatic suspension system. The external disturb should be controlled to lower the amplitude and the frequency of the vibration. 展开更多

Integral imaging is a 3D display technology without any additional equipment. A new system is proposed in this paper, which uses a lenticular lens array to replace the lens array in the conventional integral imaging system. The lenticular integral imaging system reduces the complexity and the price of integral imaging system. The positive characteristics of conventional integral imaging system, such as full parallax and quasi-continuous view points, are still kept on the proposed system in horizontal direction. Optical results show that the time for calculating the elemental images is reduced by 25% compared with the conventional one. The resolution of integrated image in vertical direction is 4 times higher than that of conventional system. This proposed system opens a new way on application of integral imaging. 展开更多
