With the analysis of distribution characteristics of motion compensation error surface inside tractional pixel searching window, the matching error is fitted with parabola along horizontal and vertical direction respectively. The proposcd searching strategy needs to check only 6 points rather than 16 or 24 points, which are used in the l lierarchical Fractional Pel Search algorithm (HFPS) for 1/4-pel and 1/8-pel Motion Estimation (ME). The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm shows very good capability in keeping the rate distortion performance while reduces computation load to a large extent compared with HFPS algorithm.展开更多

That might be part of the reason, and the author will discuss the application of information-processing model theory, schema theory in particular from the angle of cognitive psychology in listening comprehension course, hoping to remove barriers in the listening procedure to achieve better progress for students in listening ability.展开更多
Social media are used in corporate communication more and more actively. Operating in conditions of the attention economy companies are fighting for the audience attention and that's why social media become valuable ...Social media are used in corporate communication more and more actively. Operating in conditions of the attention economy companies are fighting for the audience attention and that's why social media become valuable for them. However, the popular corporate communication theories and models were created at the time, when social media did not exist and could not fully reflect the special nature of the communication that is typical for the social media environment. This generates the need for a new corporate communication model. As a result of analysing the habits employed by users and br^mds in social media, as well as the existing models of corporate communication, the author proposes an "added value model", which illustrates the process of corporate communication in social media. According to this model, the process of corporate communication in social media is ongoing taking into account both the company's and users' goals, selecting particular social media on the basis of their message and enriching communication with a communicative added value. The element of added value indicates that social media have a potential to become not only a communication channel, but also a platform, which provides a limited or full range of services, service support, and satisfies users' needs. Thus, the proposed model could serve as a point of reference and evaluation, which is crucial for starting or improving corporate communication in social media.展开更多
An analytical model for the subthreshold current of a strained-Si metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) is developed by solving the two-dimensional (2D) Poisson equation and the conventional drift...An analytical model for the subthreshold current of a strained-Si metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) is developed by solving the two-dimensional (2D) Poisson equation and the conventional drift-diffusion theory. Model verification is carried out using the 2D device simulator ISE. Good agreement is obtained between the model's calculations and the simulated results. By analyzing the model, the dependence of current on the strained-Si layer strain, doping concentration, source/drain junction depths and substrate voltage is studied. This subthreshold current model provides valuable information for strained-Si MOSFET design.展开更多
