Based on catastrophe theory,we used the catastrophe progression method to predict the risk of coal and gas outbursts in coal mines.According to the major factors affecting coal and gas outbursts,we built a comprehensi...Based on catastrophe theory,we used the catastrophe progression method to predict the risk of coal and gas outbursts in coal mines.According to the major factors affecting coal and gas outbursts,we built a comprehensive evaluation index system and a coal and gas outburst prediction model.In addition,we performed a standard transformation for each index system;based on the degree the various indices affect the risk of an outburst,to make the data dimensionless.Based on the outburst data from eight mines,we determined catastrophe progression values and verified these values.The results show that:1) converting multi-dimensional problems into one-dimensional problems using this catastrophe progression method can simplify the steps of predicting coal and gas outbursts;2) when pre-determined catastrophe progression values are used to predict coal and gas outbursts,the predicting accuracy rate can be as high as 87.5%;3) the various coal mines have different factors inducing outbursts with varying importance of these factors and 4) the catastrophe progression values,calculated based on these factors,can be used effectively to predict the risk of outbursts in coal mines.展开更多

Methods: Adult female Wistar rats were randomized into non-pregnant control (NN), non-pregnant cold-stress control (NC), pregnant control (PN) and pregnant cold-stress (PC) groups. The rats of NN and PN groups were put under 25 ℃ and those of NC and PC groups under (4±2)℃ for 4 h every morning respectively in the whole experimental period. The blood pressure, urine protein, body weight, haematocrit, weight of the placenta and weight and length of the fetus were recorded and the histological changes of the placenta and the kidneys were also studied. Results: The blood pressure and urine protein of the rats of the NC and PC groups after 2 weeks of cold-stress were more significantly increased than the rats of the NN and PN groups. In addition, the weight of the placenta and the weight and length of the fetus were more significantly lower in the former than the latter. Obvious changes of anoxia and ischemia were observed in the tissues of the kidneys and every layer of the placenta. Conclusion: Our findings of hypertension syndrome induced with repeated cold-stress in pregnant rats can be applied to illustrate the pathogenesis of pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome in human beings.展开更多

A total of 7...In the present paper, the therapeutic effect of spleen- stomach- reinforcing moxibustion for treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is observed and its underlying mechanisms on immunity are analyzed. A total of 72 IBS patients are randomly divided into moxibustion group (n= 46) and acupuncture group (control group, n = 26). Acu-points used are Zhongwan (CV 12), Qihai (CV 6) and Zusanli (ST 36), etc. Serum IgG, IgA and IgM contents, blood T-lympocytes (T3+, T4+, T8+) counts, T4+ /T8+, cancer embryonic antigen (CEA) content, serum IL-2 and slL-2R contents are assayed for evaluating changes of the immunocompetence. After two courses of treatment (24 sessions), results show that in moxibustion group, 25 cases (54.35%) are cured, 17 experience improvement in clinical symptoms and 4 have no apparent changes, with an effective rate of 91.30% ; in control group, 8 cases (30. 78%) are cured, 12 experience improvement and 6 have no marked improvement, with an effective rate of 76.92% . The therapeutic effect of moxibustion is significantly superior to that of acupuncture (P<0.01). In addition, moxibustion can effectively rectify abnormal immune function and stabilize human's immunity. This research provides a reliable experimental basis for clinical application of 'principal prescription of moxibustion for reinforcing the spleen and stomach'.展开更多

Although proper design of arresters by the numerical simulation method is promising, its reliabil- ity and accuracy are dependent upon the mathematical model. In this work, an integrated mathematical model for the microchannel in the crimped ribbon flame attesters was set up; the fluid flow behavior and the sensitiv- ities of four chemical kinetics mechanisms of propane-air on the accuracy were analysed. It is shown that turbu- lence is predominant in the microchannel of the crimped ribbon flame arresters under the defiagration and detonation conditions, and a new quenching criterion for the numerical simulation is proposed. The kinetics mechanism of Mansouri et al. among the four ones is the most accurate due to the best agreement of the pre- dicted outlet temperature at the experimental flameproof velocity with the autoignition temperature of propane-air. The species mass fraction profiles and the temperature distribution, which are too difficult to mea- sure due to the tiny dimension of the microchannel in experiments, are captured. The fundamental insights into chemical reactions and heat loss are well portrayed. It can be concluded that the integrated mathematical model established in this work can be used as a reliable tool for modeling, selecting and designing such type of crimped ribbon flame attesters with the propane-air medium in the future.展开更多
An optimization model of underground mining method selection was established on the basis of the unascertained measurement theory.Considering the geologic conditions,technology,economy and safety production,ten main f...An optimization model of underground mining method selection was established on the basis of the unascertained measurement theory.Considering the geologic conditions,technology,economy and safety production,ten main factors influencing the selection of mining method were taken into account,and the comprehensive evaluation index system of mining method selection was constructed.The unascertained evaluation indices corresponding to the selected factors for the actual situation were solved both qualitatively and quantitatively.New measurement standards were constructed.Then,the unascertained measurement function of each evaluation index was established.The index weights of the factors were calculated by entropy theory,and credible degree recognition criteria were established according to the unascertained measurement theory.The results of mining method evaluation were obtained using the credible degree criteria,thus the best underground mining method was determined.Furthermore,this model was employed for the comprehensive evaluation and selection of the chosen standard mining methods in Xinli Gold Mine in Sanshandao of China.The results show that the relative superiority degrees of mining methods can be calculated using the unascertained measurement optimization model,so the optimal method can be easily determined.Meanwhile,the proposed method can take into account large amount of uncertain information in mining method selection,which can provide an effective way for selecting the optimal underground mining method.展开更多

PDS can be designed to make particles move in a modified potential that favors diffusion in phase space, then, by rejecting some trial samples, the target distributions can be sampled in an unbiased manner. Furthermore, if the accepted trial samples are insumcient, they can be recycled as initial states to form more unbiased samples. This strategy can greatly improve efficiency when the original potential has multiple metastable states separated by large barriers. We apply PDS to the 2d Ising model and a double-well potential model with a large barrier, demonstrating in these two representative examples that convergence is accelerated by orders of magnitude.展开更多

However, the expected utility maximization often employed as the decision process fails to consider the high risk with low probability cases. On the other hand, the existing min-max regret strategy tends to be dominated by the "worst assumption" regardless of its probability. This research proposes a new framework by formulating the regret by the Minkowski's generalized distance. The authors then apply the formulation to the IAM (integrated assessment model) MARIA. This study focuses on the uncertainties of CCS (carbon capture and storage) costs and the global warming damages. This formulation is then extended to the multi-stage decision frame, known as ATL (act-then-learn) method. The simulation results suggest that the substantial changes in CCS and nuclear deployment strategies depending on the future uncertainty scenarios. The results also suggest that the minimum regret strategy favors the capital accumulation in the early stage.展开更多
Objective To compare the difference in the therapeutic effects on diarrhea- type irritable bowel syndrome (D-IBS) between acupuncture based on soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen and western medicine. Me...Objective To compare the difference in the therapeutic effects on diarrhea- type irritable bowel syndrome (D-IBS) between acupuncture based on soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen and western medicine. Methods Seventy cases were randomized into an acupuncture group and a western medicine group, 35 cases in each one. In the acupuncture group, the conventional acupuncture was applied at Tianshu {天枢 ST 25), Zusanli (足三里 ST 36), Shangjuxu {上巨虚 ST 37), Sanyinjiao (三阴交 SP 6), Taichong (太冲 LR 3) and so on. Electric stimulation was supplemented at bilateral ST 25. The treatment was given once a day, 3-4 treatments in a week. In the western medicine group, pinaverium bromide (dicetel) was prescribed for oral administration, 50 mg each time, three times a day. Four weeks made one session in the two groups. Separately, before treatment and after 1 session treatment, the integral of clinical symptom and the score in the scale of the quality of life measure for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-Q OL) were observed for the patients in the two groups. The efficacy and recurrence rate were assessed in the two groups. Results The symptom integral and IBS-QOL score in the two groups were improved significantly after treatment Call P〈0.01), and the improvements in the acupuncture group were superior to that in the western medicine group (P〈0.01). The effective rate was 94.3% {33/35) in the acupuncture group, which was superior to 77.1% (27/35) in the western medicine group (P〈0.01). In 3 months, the recurrence rate was 36.4% (12/33) in the acupuncture group, which was lower apparently than 72.0% (18/25) in the western medicine group (P〈O.01). Conclusion Acupuncture therapy based on soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen achieves the superior efficacy on D-IBS as compared with western medication, pinaverium bromide. This therapy improves apparently the quality of life of the patients and is lower in recurrence rate.展开更多

Methods: One hundred and sixty male SD rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, aminoguanidine (AG) group, needle-knife group, 40 rats in each group. The L3 transverse process syndrome rat model was established, and after treatment of needle-knife and AG, iNOS activities and NO contents and histomorpholocal changes in the soft tissues around L3 transverse process on 1, 3, 7 and 14 days were observed in the groups. Results: Compared with the normal group, iNOS activity and NO content in the model group were significantly increased (P<0.01); Compared with the model group, iNOS activities and NO contents were significantly decreased in both the needle-knife group and the AG group (both P<0.01); And both iNOS activities and NO contents were identical with both local inflammation response and injured degrees of the injured tissue in the groups. Conclusion: Needle-knife therapy can significantly inhibit generation of NO, alleviate inflammatory response and injured degree of the injured soft tissue, improve microcirculation, prevent formation of pathological scar tissue, and promote repair of the chronic soft tissue injury.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:To master the syndrome patterns characteristics and explore the effective therapy methods ofTraditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for cardiac syndrome X(CSX).METHODS:The TCM syndrome characteristics were mastere...OBJECTIVE:To master the syndrome patterns characteristics and explore the effective therapy methods ofTraditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for cardiac syndrome X(CSX).METHODS:The TCM syndrome characteristics were mastered and the TCM intervention programs were determined by clinical investigations for TCM syndrome patterns characteristics of CSX patients.Then,the clinical efficacy studies on TCM intervention for CSX were carried out through randomized controlled trials.RESULTS:CSX is a clinical syndrome with the main manifestations of chest pain and chest stuffiness,and Qi stagnation,phlegm retention and blood stasis are the basic symptoms of CSX.As a result,the Qi-regulating,chest-relaxing and blood-activating therapy integrated with some Western Medicines was adopted for treatment.The effect of Qi-regulating,chest-relaxing and blood-activating therapy can reduce the frequency and degree of angina,improve the symptoms and exercise the tolerance of patients,inhibit the inflammatory response of vascular walls and protect the function of vascular endothelial cells,which is better than that of the simple and conventionalWestern Medicine alone.CONCLUSION:A good effect was achieved in the integration of Chinese and Western Medicines for CSX.The therapy is worthy to be applied further in clinical practice.On the other hand,more long-term and randomised controlled studies with large samples are still required to further determine the clinical efficacy and safety of the therapy.展开更多

Methods Sixty-four cases were randomly di...Objective To compare the effects between acupuncture combined with moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints and acupuncture on irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D). Methods Sixty-four cases were randomly divided into an acupuncture and moxibustion group (n=32) and an acupuncture group (n=32). Conventional acupuncture at Tiānshū (天枢 ST 14), Zúsānlǐ (足三里 ST 36), Gōngsūn (公孙 SP 4) and other acupoints was used in the two groups, and moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints was added in the acupuncture and moxibustion group. The treatment frequency was 5 times a week, and 4 weeks were a course. After 2 courses, the therapeutic effect was evaluated. Results The clinical symptom scores after treatment in two groups decreased obviously than those before treatment (both P〈0.01). The cured and markedly effective rate in the acupuncture and moxibustion group was 87.5% (28/32), and that in the acupuncture group was 37.5% (12/32), so the effect in the acupuncture and moxibustion group was better than that in the acupuncture group (P〈0.01). The improvement of all kinds of symptom scores in the acupuncture and moxibustion group was all better than that in the acupuncture group (all P〈0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of acupuncture combined with moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints on IBS-D is better than that of acupuncture.展开更多

With the rapid development of the marine economy,the demand for marine resources development and the pressure on marine environmental protection are gradually increasing.It is critical to evaluate and analyze the driv...With the rapid development of the marine economy,the demand for marine resources development and the pressure on marine environmental protection are gradually increasing.It is critical to evaluate and analyze the driving forces of marine sustainable development in order to promote the coordinated development of the marine economy,resources and environment.Taking Jiangsu Province of China as an example,this paper constructs an evaluation index system for marine sustainable development from the three aspects of marine economy,resources and environment,and calculates the weight of the variation coefficient for each indicator.Based on the grey relational model,the average value of the relational degree,calculated by the average value method of correlation coefficients and the weighting method,is then used to evaluate the status of marine sustainable development in this province.The comprehensive index model is used to analyze the dynamic trend of the evolution of marine sustainable development.The driving forces of marine sustainable development are analyzed by the path analysis method combined with the average values of the grey relational degree for each indicator.This analysis found that the marine sustainable development in 2016 and 2012 was good,the situation in 2007 was bad,and the remaining years were intermediate.Compared with the previous years,the optimal conditions of 2008 and 2012 were obvious.The main driving factors of marine sustainable development are cargo throughput of coastal ports,economic losses caused by storm surges in coastal areas,the area of marine nature reserves in coastal areas,coastal wind power generation capacity,and marine biodiversity.展开更多
More than 87000 dams have been built in China,and about one third of them are risky projects.A number of high and ultra-high dams are being constructed in China's western region.The current dam construction practi...More than 87000 dams have been built in China,and about one third of them are risky projects.A number of high and ultra-high dams are being constructed in China's western region.The current dam construction practice tends to focus on socio-economic benefits and neglect the environment and ecology.Furthermore,periodic examinations are intended to ensure the structural safety of dams.This paper proposes a general evaluation principle for dam service.This principle stipulates that dam projects should have maximum socio-economic benefits and minimum negative effects on the environment and ecology.To satisfy the general principle of mutual harmony,socio-economic benefits,dam safety,environment,and ecology are analyzed,and the evaluation methods for dam service status are discussed.Then,a fusion algorithm of interlayer assessment is proposed on the basis of evidence theory and the fuzzy comprehensive analysis method.Finally,a comprehensive evaluation model is established.Example analysis shows that the proposed theories and methods can fulfill scientific assessment of the service status of dams.展开更多

In the dynamic modeling, the double-compatible free-interface modal synthesis method is used to establish dynamic model of the system, and its model precision is compared with those of finite element method(FEM), fixedinterface modal synthesis method and free-interface modal synthesis method. In the active control, the swing angle of rocket motor is used as design variable, and the control law design based on the model of mass center motion is adopted to validate the system. Simulation results indicate that the double-compatible model synthesis method can properly approximate the FEM which is used as the benchmark solution, and the model precision of the double-compatible modal synthesis method is obviously higher than those of the fixed-interface and freeinterface modal synthesis methods. Based on the control law design, the deflection of mass center of the launch vehicle is very small.展开更多

PDS can be designed to make particles move in a modified potential that favors diffusion in phase space, then, by rejecting some trial samples, the target distributions can be sampled in an unbiased manner. Furthermore, if the accepted trial samples are insumcient, they can be recycled as initial states to form more unbiased samples. This strategy can greatly improve efficiency when the original potential has multiple metastable states separated by large barriers. We apply PDS to the 2d Ising model and a double-well potential model with a large barrier, demonstrating in these two representative examples that convergence is accelerated by orders of magnitude.
文摘The technology investment strategy under uncertainty is the key subject. However, the expected utility maximization often employed as the decision process fails to consider the high risk with low probability cases. On the other hand, the existing min-max regret strategy tends to be dominated by the "worst assumption" regardless of its probability. This research proposes a new framework by formulating the regret by the Minkowski's generalized distance. The authors then apply the formulation to the IAM (integrated assessment model) MARIA. This study focuses on the uncertainties of CCS (carbon capture and storage) costs and the global warming damages. This formulation is then extended to the multi-stage decision frame, known as ATL (act-then-learn) method. The simulation results suggest that the substantial changes in CCS and nuclear deployment strategies depending on the future uncertainty scenarios. The results also suggest that the minimum regret strategy favors the capital accumulation in the early stage.

文摘Objective To compare the difference in the therapeutic effects on diarrhea- type irritable bowel syndrome (D-IBS) between acupuncture based on soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen and western medicine. Methods Seventy cases were randomized into an acupuncture group and a western medicine group, 35 cases in each one. In the acupuncture group, the conventional acupuncture was applied at Tianshu {天枢 ST 25), Zusanli (足三里 ST 36), Shangjuxu {上巨虚 ST 37), Sanyinjiao (三阴交 SP 6), Taichong (太冲 LR 3) and so on. Electric stimulation was supplemented at bilateral ST 25. The treatment was given once a day, 3-4 treatments in a week. In the western medicine group, pinaverium bromide (dicetel) was prescribed for oral administration, 50 mg each time, three times a day. Four weeks made one session in the two groups. Separately, before treatment and after 1 session treatment, the integral of clinical symptom and the score in the scale of the quality of life measure for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-Q OL) were observed for the patients in the two groups. The efficacy and recurrence rate were assessed in the two groups. Results The symptom integral and IBS-QOL score in the two groups were improved significantly after treatment Call P〈0.01), and the improvements in the acupuncture group were superior to that in the western medicine group (P〈0.01). The effective rate was 94.3% {33/35) in the acupuncture group, which was superior to 77.1% (27/35) in the western medicine group (P〈0.01). In 3 months, the recurrence rate was 36.4% (12/33) in the acupuncture group, which was lower apparently than 72.0% (18/25) in the western medicine group (P〈O.01). Conclusion Acupuncture therapy based on soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen achieves the superior efficacy on D-IBS as compared with western medication, pinaverium bromide. This therapy improves apparently the quality of life of the patients and is lower in recurrence rate.

文摘Objective: To study on relationship of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) activity and nitric oxide (NO) content in the injured local soft tissue with injured degrees of the soft tissue in the third lumbar vertebrae (L3) transverse process syndrome model rat and to observe the effect of needle-knife therapy. Methods: One hundred and sixty male SD rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, aminoguanidine (AG) group, needle-knife group, 40 rats in each group. The L3 transverse process syndrome rat model was established, and after treatment of needle-knife and AG, iNOS activities and NO contents and histomorpholocal changes in the soft tissues around L3 transverse process on 1, 3, 7 and 14 days were observed in the groups. Results: Compared with the normal group, iNOS activity and NO content in the model group were significantly increased (P<0.01); Compared with the model group, iNOS activities and NO contents were significantly decreased in both the needle-knife group and the AG group (both P<0.01); And both iNOS activities and NO contents were identical with both local inflammation response and injured degrees of the injured tissue in the groups. Conclusion: Needle-knife therapy can significantly inhibit generation of NO, alleviate inflammatory response and injured degree of the injured soft tissue, improve microcirculation, prevent formation of pathological scar tissue, and promote repair of the chronic soft tissue injury.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To master the syndrome patterns characteristics and explore the effective therapy methods ofTraditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for cardiac syndrome X(CSX).METHODS:The TCM syndrome characteristics were mastered and the TCM intervention programs were determined by clinical investigations for TCM syndrome patterns characteristics of CSX patients.Then,the clinical efficacy studies on TCM intervention for CSX were carried out through randomized controlled trials.RESULTS:CSX is a clinical syndrome with the main manifestations of chest pain and chest stuffiness,and Qi stagnation,phlegm retention and blood stasis are the basic symptoms of CSX.As a result,the Qi-regulating,chest-relaxing and blood-activating therapy integrated with some Western Medicines was adopted for treatment.The effect of Qi-regulating,chest-relaxing and blood-activating therapy can reduce the frequency and degree of angina,improve the symptoms and exercise the tolerance of patients,inhibit the inflammatory response of vascular walls and protect the function of vascular endothelial cells,which is better than that of the simple and conventionalWestern Medicine alone.CONCLUSION:A good effect was achieved in the integration of Chinese and Western Medicines for CSX.The therapy is worthy to be applied further in clinical practice.On the other hand,more long-term and randomised controlled studies with large samples are still required to further determine the clinical efficacy and safety of the therapy.
文摘Objective To compare the effects between acupuncture combined with moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints and acupuncture on irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D). Methods Sixty-four cases were randomly divided into an acupuncture and moxibustion group (n=32) and an acupuncture group (n=32). Conventional acupuncture at Tiānshū (天枢 ST 14), Zúsānlǐ (足三里 ST 36), Gōngsūn (公孙 SP 4) and other acupoints was used in the two groups, and moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints was added in the acupuncture and moxibustion group. The treatment frequency was 5 times a week, and 4 weeks were a course. After 2 courses, the therapeutic effect was evaluated. Results The clinical symptom scores after treatment in two groups decreased obviously than those before treatment (both P〈0.01). The cured and markedly effective rate in the acupuncture and moxibustion group was 87.5% (28/32), and that in the acupuncture group was 37.5% (12/32), so the effect in the acupuncture and moxibustion group was better than that in the acupuncture group (P〈0.01). The improvement of all kinds of symptom scores in the acupuncture and moxibustion group was all better than that in the acupuncture group (all P〈0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of acupuncture combined with moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints on IBS-D is better than that of acupuncture.

As a result, of 31 cases, 25 cases had marked effectiveness, 5 cases had effectiveness and 1 case had ineffectiveness.

文摘With the rapid development of the marine economy,the demand for marine resources development and the pressure on marine environmental protection are gradually increasing.It is critical to evaluate and analyze the driving forces of marine sustainable development in order to promote the coordinated development of the marine economy,resources and environment.Taking Jiangsu Province of China as an example,this paper constructs an evaluation index system for marine sustainable development from the three aspects of marine economy,resources and environment,and calculates the weight of the variation coefficient for each indicator.Based on the grey relational model,the average value of the relational degree,calculated by the average value method of correlation coefficients and the weighting method,is then used to evaluate the status of marine sustainable development in this province.The comprehensive index model is used to analyze the dynamic trend of the evolution of marine sustainable development.The driving forces of marine sustainable development are analyzed by the path analysis method combined with the average values of the grey relational degree for each indicator.This analysis found that the marine sustainable development in 2016 and 2012 was good,the situation in 2007 was bad,and the remaining years were intermediate.Compared with the previous years,the optimal conditions of 2008 and 2012 were obvious.The main driving factors of marine sustainable development are cargo throughput of coastal ports,economic losses caused by storm surges in coastal areas,the area of marine nature reserves in coastal areas,coastal wind power generation capacity,and marine biodiversity.

文摘More than 87000 dams have been built in China,and about one third of them are risky projects.A number of high and ultra-high dams are being constructed in China's western region.The current dam construction practice tends to focus on socio-economic benefits and neglect the environment and ecology.Furthermore,periodic examinations are intended to ensure the structural safety of dams.This paper proposes a general evaluation principle for dam service.This principle stipulates that dam projects should have maximum socio-economic benefits and minimum negative effects on the environment and ecology.To satisfy the general principle of mutual harmony,socio-economic benefits,dam safety,environment,and ecology are analyzed,and the evaluation methods for dam service status are discussed.Then,a fusion algorithm of interlayer assessment is proposed on the basis of evidence theory and the fuzzy comprehensive analysis method.Finally,a comprehensive evaluation model is established.Example analysis shows that the proposed theories and methods can fulfill scientific assessment of the service status of dams.

文摘Dynamic modeling and active control of a strap-on launch vehicle are studied in this paper. In the dynamic modeling, the double-compatible free-interface modal synthesis method is used to establish dynamic model of the system, and its model precision is compared with those of finite element method(FEM), fixedinterface modal synthesis method and free-interface modal synthesis method. In the active control, the swing angle of rocket motor is used as design variable, and the control law design based on the model of mass center motion is adopted to validate the system. Simulation results indicate that the double-compatible model synthesis method can properly approximate the FEM which is used as the benchmark solution, and the model precision of the double-compatible modal synthesis method is obviously higher than those of the fixed-interface and freeinterface modal synthesis methods. Based on the control law design, the deflection of mass center of the launch vehicle is very small.
