经过多年地热资源勘查实践,初步认为控制地热的因素是:热源主要来自深部的地幔楔;中–新生代中酸性火山–岩浆活动是形成地热资源和区域高地热场的重要控制因素;喜山期形成地热的温度要高于燕山期形成地热的温度;地表浅部的温泉群是勘... 经过多年地热资源勘查实践,初步认为控制地热的因素是:热源主要来自深部的地幔楔;中–新生代中酸性火山–岩浆活动是形成地热资源和区域高地热场的重要控制因素;喜山期形成地热的温度要高于燕山期形成地热的温度;地表浅部的温泉群是勘查深部地热的重要线索;区域构造背景(裂谷、碰撞及俯冲带)和局部深部构造(断裂、破碎带)是提供地热上升的通道;形成地热田不仅要具备良好的储层,还要蕴藏地热温度和一定厚度的盖层。可概括为(热)源–通(道)–储(层)–盖(层)4个字的规律。我国东部地区地热资源十分丰富,以地热资源分布的空间位置,分为五个方面来阐述:即花岗岩地热、火山(岩)地热、矿山地热、油气田地热和城市地热。其中矿山地热和火山(岩)会伴有“热害”。为了加速我国东部地热资源勘查和开发进程,提出关于对中、低温热水型地热发电、开发立法和优选地热靶区、化“害”为“利”的攻关科研、以“EGS”经济支撑和热水勘查钻孔长期保存的五点建议。 展开更多

Role of outdoor trees on pedestrian wind and thermal conditions around a pre-education building for sustainable energy management

Finding sustainable energy resources is essential to face the increasing energy demand.Trees are an important part of ancient architecture but are becoming rare in urban areas.Trees can control and tune the pedestrian-level wind velocity and thermal condition.In this study,a numerical investigation is employed to assess the role of trees planted in the windward direction of the building complex on the thermal and pedestrian wind velocity conditions around/inside a pre-education building located in the center of the complex.Compared to the previous studies(which considered only outside buildings),this work considers the effects of trees on microclimate change both inside/outside buildings.Effects of different parameters including the leaf area density and number of trees,number of rows,far-field velocity magnitude,and thermal condition around the main building are assessed.The results show that the flow velocity in the spacing between the first-row buildings is reduced by 30%-40% when the one-row trees with 2 m height are planted 15 m farther than the buildings.Furthermore,two rows of trees are more effective in higher velocities and reduce the maximum velocity by about 50%.The investigation shows that trees also could reduce the temperature by about 1℃around the building. 展开更多

Characteristics of urban heat island (UHI) effect and its cause are investigated by using MODIS data in April 2004. Surface parameters from the MODIS data have surface temperature (ts) albedo(α), and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). Their heterogeneities over urban and rural area are analyzed based on land cover classification, and their relations are also presented in order to explain the UHI effect. The results show that there exists obvious the UHI effect. Ts over urban areas are by 10.83 % higher than those over rural area, and NDVI and α over urban area are by 62 % and 18.75 % less than those over rural area, respectively. Surface temperature has significantly negative correlation with NDVI and their correlation coefficient is -0.73. Correlation between NDVI and albedo is determined by the spectrum of light. Difference in vegetation cover is the primary cause of the UHI effect. 展开更多

The cold-island effect of urban wetlands has received increasing attention in recent years due to its important role in the alleviation of urban heat islands.Hangzhou,a representative rapidly urbanizing city with rich wetlands in China,was selected as a case study for researching the changes that the urban wetlands have undergone and their impact on the urban thermal environment.Land surface temperature(LST) was acquired from the thermal infrared data of Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper(TM) images in 1990,1995,2000,2006,and 2010,using the single-channel method.The results are as follows:1) considering the changes in land use,the urban wetlands located to the west of Hangzhou have decreased significantly during 1990–2010 because of rapid urbanization.In the Xixi Wetland,the change in land use was relatively small and most of the water body and vegetation were preserved.However,to the east of the Xixi Wetland,large areas of water body and vegetation have been replaced by built-up land as a result of the urbanization process;2) considering the change in LST,it was found from land surface temperature retrieval that the changing spatial pattern of the thermal field was highly correlated with land use changes.Low temperature regions of the eastern Xixi Wetland were gradually eroded by high temperature regions,and the centroid of the heat island in East Xixi was found to be constantly shifting westward.In addition,the difference in LST between the Xixi Wetland and East Xixi has increased;3) considering the impact factors for this area,land use structure and patch shape were found to have a significant impact on LST,shown by the results of multiple linear stepwise regressions.Increasing the size of the wetlands in urban planning is considered to be the most effective measure in alleviating the urban heat island effect.Moreover,reducing the spatial complexity of landscape patches also contributes to the alleviation of the urban heat island effect. 展开更多

Land surface temperature (LST) of Beijing area was retrieved from Landsat TM thermal band data utilizing a radiative transfer equation and the urban heat island (HUI) effects of Beijing and its relationship with land cover and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) were discussed. The result of LST showed that the urban LST was evidently higher than the suburban one. The average urban LST was found to 4.5 ℃ and 9 ℃ higher than the suburban and outer suburban temperature, respectively, which demonstrated the prominent UHI effects in Beijing. Prominent negative correlation between LST and NDVI was found in the urban area, which suggested the low percent vegetation cover in the urban area was the main cause of the urban heat island. 展开更多

The components of urban surface cover are diversified,and component temperature has greater physical significance and application values in the studies on urban thermal environment.Although the multi-angle retrieval algorithm of component temperature has been matured gradually,its application in the studies on urban thermal environment is restricted due to the difficulty in acquiring urban-scale multi-angle thermal infrared data.Therefore,based on the existing multi-source multi-band remote sensing data,access to appropriate urban-scale component temperature is an urgent issue to be solved in current studies on urban thermal infrared remote sensing.Then,a retrieval algorithm of urban component temperature by multi-source multi-band remote sensing data on the basis of MODIS and Landsat TM images was proposed with expectations achieved in this work,which was finally validated by the experiment on urban images of Changsha,China.The results show that:1) Mean temperatures of impervious surface components and vegetation components are the maximum and minimum,respectively,which are in accordance with the distribution laws of actual surface temperature; 2) High-accuracy retrieval results are obtained in vegetation component temperature.Moreover,through a contrast between retrieval results and measured data,it is found that the retrieval temperature of impervious surface component has the maximum deviation from measured temperature and its deviation is greater than 1 ℃,while the deviation in vegetation component temperature is relatively low at 0.5 ℃. 展开更多

The 2003-006 observations were utilized to analyze the surface characteristics of summer land-sea breezes along the coastland of Guangxi and the Weather Research and Forecast model was applied to simulate the breeze structure on August 1-2, 2006. Results show that 1) the intensity and distributions of the breezes reproduced from improved urban underlying surface were close to observations. In the daytime the coastwise urban band was a convergent belt of sea breeze, corresponding to the centers of torrential rains; in the nighttime hours the surface of the Gulf of Tonkin (the Vietnamese name) or the Northern Bay (the Chinese name) acted as a convergent zone of land breezes, likely to produce convective cloud cluster; 2) the experiment on urbanization showed the heat island effect enhancing (weakening) the sea (land) breeze development. Furthermore, the heat island effect mitigated the atmospheric cooling via radiation over the cities in the night, weakening sinking motion correspondingly, thereby suppressing the dominant factor responsible for the steady development of temperature inversion. As a result, the inversion vigor was reduced greatly, but nevertheless no strong effect of the decreased subsidence was found upon the inversion height. 展开更多

The study of urban outdoor thermal environment was carried out in one of the mountainous cities by using geography information system(GIS) technique which is connected with predicting and evaluating models for the outdoor thermal environment, monitoring data and simulating data. A prediction and evaluation system were set up. A typical mountainous city, i.e., Yunyang city in Chongqing in China, was taken as an example, its urbanization trend and population growth was predicted and evaluated. The heat island intensity and its trend were simulated, the temperature field, velocity field and the humidity field were analyzed. The results show that GIS is an effective tool to deal with the outdoor thermal environment, especially for the mountainous cities with special geographical particularities. GIS can be used in the environmental management and the city planning especially for the mountainous cities. 展开更多

The most economical and rational means of heat supply for city inhabitants are district heating systems. Heat generated in power plants and large heat sources is cheaper than heat from individual sources. The reason for that is the amount of the generated heat and the used fuel (coal for most heat sources). District heating, a very important energy sub-sector for the Polish economy, provides heat supply to centralised heating systems, which, on average, satisfy 72% of the demand for heat in Polish cities. Therefore, several million Polish citizens use heat from district heating systems that produce heat in professional, industrial and municipal power plants. In Europe, over 100 million citizens use district heating systems. The present situation of the Polish district heating sector is a result of Poland's transformation that took place at the beginning of the 1990s. The reform put the obligation of heat supply on the local authorities, on the municipality, instead of the state. Along with the transformation, district heating also made huge technological and technical progress. Increasing expectations of recipients posed new challenges for the branch, however. 展开更多

Estimation of the Relationship among Fractional Vegetation Cover, Land Surface Temperature and Electricity Consumption in Taipei City

The cooling effects of urban green vegetation cover, which can help decrease LST (land surface temperature) in urban area. When air temperature decreases, the electricity consumption of household will also mitigate loading. Meanwhile, that lack of assessment of green vegetation coverage impact to LST and electricity consumption, so that it could not clearly quantify the environmental contribution of green coves. In Taipei city, for example, FVC (fractional vegetation cover) value and LST was collected from Aster satellite remote sensing images, and data of household electricity consumption was acquired from Taiwan Power Company. Based on these three factors, it analyzed relative model. In the urban area, fractional vegetation cover might influence with land surface temperature and electricity consumption. The result shows that when the value of fractional vegetation cover is low, the air temperature is high. While fractional vegetation cover is increase, not only the land surface temperature is decreasing but the electricity consumption is also reducing. This study hopes can be the reference materials for the future metropolis plan and to inhibit the spread of urban thermal environment. 展开更多

The Heat Island Effect Response to the Urban Landscape Pattern of Haikou based on the“Source-Sink”Theory 被引量:3

The Landsat images of the 2000,2005,2010,2015,2018 are selected as the data source to retrieve land cover and surface temperature data.The contribution of Sink-Source landscape pattern to the heat island and its ecological effects on urban and rural gradient were analyzed by using Heat Index(HI),Sink and Source Landscape Contribution(CI_(sink),CI_(source))and Landscape Effect Index(LI)in Haikou.The results show that the heat island is concentrated on the West Coast,and in the central urban and Jiangdong New Area;the HI shows a pattern of decreasing value with the following land types:“Bare land>Artificial surface﹥Source landscape>Shrub grassland>Farmland>Sink landscape>Woodland>Water body”.In the central city section,the CI_(sink) and CI_(source) are relatively large in these five periods.The LI decreases rapidly along the urban-rural gradient,promoting the Urban Heat Island(UHI)to a large degree.In contrast,the suburban area contributes to a lesser degree.Overall,the LI fluctuates,the proportion of mitigating UHI is large,and there is a second peak outside the city center.The existing Source-Sink Landscape contributes the most to UHI in the central urban area,and this contribution decreases along the urban-rural gradient.With the continuous expansion of city-town areas,the proportion of Sink areas has increased along the gradient,and the proportion of Source areas has subsequently declined,resulting in the spatial transfer and diffusion of UHI.Therefore,a UHI mitigation strategy based on the theory of regional landscape systems is proposed here. 展开更多
