The PrefixCube is extended for incorporating hierarchical data cubes, i.e. cubes with hierarchical dimensions ,thus obtaining HierPrefixCube. Hierarchical Scene Analysis Method for Audio Sensor Networks

In the former stage, the basic au... Abstract: A hierarchical method for scene analysis in audio sensor networks is proposed. This meth-od consists of two stages: element detection stage and audio scene analysis stage. In the former stage, the basic audio elements are modeled by the HMM models and trained by enough samples off-line, and we adaptively add or remove basic ele- ment from the targeted element pool according to the time, place and other environment parameters. In the latter stage, a data fusion algorithm is used to combine the sensory information of the same ar-ea, and then, a role-based method is employed to analyze the audio scene based on the fused data. We conduct some experiments to evaluate the per-formance of the proposed method that about 70% audio scenes can be detected correctly by this method. The experiment evaluations demonstrate that our method can achieve satisfactory results. 展开更多

Design parameter optimization of beam foundation on soft soil layer with nonlinear finite element 被引量:2

Finite element method was performed to investigate the influences of beam stiffness, foundation width and cushion thickness on the beating capacity of beam foundation on underlying weak laminated clay. The comparison between numerical results and results from field test including plate-bearing test and foundation settlement observation shows reasonable agreement. According to the numerical results, the beam width, length, cross section and cushion thickness were optimized. The results show that the stresses in subgrade soil decrease greatly with increasing the cushion thickness and width of foundation. However, the foundation settlement and influencing depth of displacement also increase correspondingly under conditions of relatively thinner cushion thickness. For the foundations on underlying weak layer, increasing foundation width merely might be inadequate for improving the bearing capacity, and the appropriate width and cushion thickness depend on the response of subgrade. A comparison between rigid and flexible beams was also discussed. The influence of a flexible beam foundation on subgrade is relatively smaller under the same loading conditions, and the flexible beam foundation appears more adaptable to various subgrades. The proposed flexible beam foundation was adopted in engineering. According to the calculation results, beam width of 2.4 m and cushion thickness of 0.8 m are proposed, and a flexible beam foundation is applied in the optimized design, which is confirmed reasonable by the actual engineering. 展开更多

The ability of tetrandrine (Tet), an alkaloid isolated from Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae, to reduce cortical neuronal injury in cortical cultures derived from fetal rats was quantitatively assessed by examination of morphological changes and measurement of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) released to the extracellular bathing media Cell cultures exposed to the excitatory amino acids (EAA) 50 μmol L 1 glutamate (Glu), 20 μmol L 1 N methyl D aspartate (NMDA), 300 μmol·L 1 β N oxalylamino L alanine (BMAA, NMDA receptor agonist) or 20 μmol·L 1 β N oxaly lamino L alanine (BOAA, non NMDA receptor agonist) for 24 h at 37℃ showed widespread neuronal injury Tet had little effect on the injury induced by 20 μmol·L 1 NMDA but 10 7 and 10 6 μmol·L 1 Tet did partially attenuate the neuronal degeneration, neuronal loss and LDH efflux resulting from prolonged exposures to 100 μmol·L 1 Glu, 300 μmol·L 1 BMAA and 20 μmol·L 1 BOAA respectively The ability of Tet to reduce the neuronal injury induced by prolonged exposure to EAA may contribute, at least in part, to the reduction of Ca 2+ influx through inhibiting the opening of voltagegated Ca 2+ channels Another mechanism that Tet might have a little inhibitory effect on NMDA receptor on neuronal membrane cannot be excluded, as BMAA has been considered to act as a weak NMDA receptor agonist 展开更多
