Meanwhile, Software Defined Networking(SDN) emerges as a viable solution to facilitate the deployment of new network paradigm without disrupting production traffic by decoupling the control plane from data forwarding plane. In this paper, the essential properties which reflect ICN working principles are summarized, and a framework called SDICN is designed in accordance to the SDN philosophy. The algorithmic frameworks of SDICN which can satisfy the essential properties are designed based on the programmability and virtualization functions of SDN. Based on Open Flow and data center technology, a prototype of SDICN is implemented. By comparing the performance with the CCNx, the SDICN is proved to be feasibility and availability.展开更多

A company that provides the solution should have knowledge of the customer needs in the purpose of sailing strategy or upgrade policy. The needs are also directly connected to the user satisfaction. However, the users have respective points of view in the needs as well as they may not identify the requirements to improve the solution. SERVQUAL can be an appropriate method to define and measure the customer satisfaction for the information technology solutions. As a case study of the customer satisfaction, the modified SERVQUAL items and scoring method are applied to a cyber-infrastructure system named CyberL ab in Korea. The measurement results of user satisfaction for CyberL ab are provided to confirm that our proposed method performs as we intended. From the results, we can score the satisfaction level of users and identify their needs in the various aspects. The total user satisfaction level for CyberL ab is scored by 88.3.展开更多

Hardware and software itself changes quickly with the time and keeping them updated is a difficult problem for the most of the companies; the problem is more emphasized for the companies having large infrastructure of IT facilities such as data centers which are expensive to be maintained. Many applications run on the company premises which require well prepared staff for successfully maintaining them. With the inception of Cloud Computing many companies have transferred their applications and data into cloud computing based platforms in order to have reduced maintaining cost, easier maintenance in terms of hardware and software, reliable and securely accessible services. When time comes, maybe it will fail in the business market. However, the usage of IT instruments must be carried out in good and conducive environment especially for business market. In this study, a basic and practical management about how to manage IT asset in small organizations will be discussed. Then this kind of management will be further discussed when the company become small medium organization. The implementation of IT infrastructure, the requirements, infrastructures, services, and platform from software to hardware and networking devices needs to be known. However, this study focuses on networking infrastructure such as networking equipments, servers, network monitoring software, costing, and management best practices.展开更多
