Methods Comeal alkali bum model was made in 15 New Zealand white rabbits that were divided into chitosan treatment group （right eyes） and control group （left eyes）. At days 7, 14 and 28 respectively after bum, five rabbits were killed each time for detecting the activity of superoxide dismutase （SOD） and content of malondialdehyde （MDA） in the corneal and aqueous humor and for microscopically observing histopathological changes of the corneal.展开更多
