Aiming at the time-optimal control problem of hypersonic vehicles(HSV)in ascending stage,a trigonometric regularization method(TRM)is introduced based on the indirect method of optimal control.This method avoids analy...Aiming at the time-optimal control problem of hypersonic vehicles(HSV)in ascending stage,a trigonometric regularization method(TRM)is introduced based on the indirect method of optimal control.This method avoids analyzing the switching function and distinguishing between singular control and bang-bang control,where the singular control problem is more complicated.While in bang-bang control,the costate variables are unsmooth due to the control jumping,resulting in difficulty in solving the two-point boundary value problem(TPBVP)induced by the indirect method.Aiming at the easy divergence when solving the TPBVP,the continuation method is introduced.This method uses the solution of the simplified problem as the initial value of the iteration.Then through solving a series of TPBVP,it approximates to the solution of the original complex problem.The calculation results show that through the above two methods,the time-optimal control problem of HSV in ascending stage under the complex model can be solved conveniently.展开更多

The VCO has a 16.15% tuning range (from 1. 8998 to 2. 2335GHz) through a combination of analog and digital tuning techniques (4-bit binary switch-capacitor array). The measured phase noise is - 118.17dBc/Hz at a 1MHz offset from a 2. 158GHz carrier. With the presented improved switch,the phase noise varies no more than 3dB at different digital control bits. The phase noise changes only by about 2dB in the tuning range because of the pn-junctions as the varactors. The VCO draws a current of about 2. lmA from a 1.8V power supply and works normally with a 1.5V power supply.展开更多

To achieve good performance of a three-joint robot directly driven by USM, according to the operating characteristics of USM, a new position-velocity feedback control strategy is proposed. In the control strategy, there are a total of 18 controller gains to he tuned. Through a series of "Design of Experiments" by the robust parameter design, an optimal and robust set of proportional integral derivative (PID) controller gains is obtained. Results show that the control strategy can achieve the best performance of the robot and the robust parameter design is effective and convenient to USMs.展开更多

The design methodologies and approaches for the optimization of the ICs are presented. The first design is optimized for mixed-signal transistor, oscillated at 2.64 GHz with a phase noise of -93.5 dBc/Hz at 500 kHz offset. The second one optimized for RF transistor, using the same architecture, oscillated at 2.61 GHz with a phase noise of -95.8 dBc/Hz at 500 kHz offset. Under a 2 V supply, the power dissipation is 8 mW, and the maximum buffered output power for mixed-signal and RF transistor are -7 dBm and -5.4 dBm, respectively. Both kinds of oscillators make use of on-chip components only, allowing for simple and robust integration.展开更多

For the CR circuit, a 3-stage ring voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) is employed to avoid an unreliable startup of a 2-stage VCO and a low oscillation frequency of a 4-stage VCO. A phase frequency detector (PFD) is used to expand the pull-in range to meet the wide tuning range of a VCO required by process-voltage-temperature (PVT) variation. SMIC 0. 18-μm CMOS technology is adopted and the core area is 170 μm ×270 μm. Measurements show that, under a 1.8 V supply voltage, it consumes only about 90 mW, and has an input sensitivity of less than 25 mV, an output single-ended swing of above 300 mV, a phase noise of - 114 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset and a pull-in range of 1 GHz.展开更多

A method for reducing noise radiated from structures by vibration absorbers is presented. Since usual design method for the absorbers is invalid for noise reduction, the peaks of noise power in the frequency domain as...A method for reducing noise radiated from structures by vibration absorbers is presented. Since usual design method for the absorbers is invalid for noise reduction, the peaks of noise power in the frequency domain as cost functions are applied. Hence, the equations for obtaining optimal parameters of the absorbers become nonlinear expressions. To have the parameters, an accelerated neural network procedure has been presented. Numerical calculations have been carried out for a plate type cantilever beam with a large width, and experimental tests have been also performed for the same beam. It is clarified that the present method is valid for reducing noise radiated from structures. As for the usual design method for the absorbers, model analysis has been given, so the number of absorbers should be the same as that of the considered modes. While the nonlinear problem can be dealt with by the present method, there is no restriction on the number of absorbers or the model number.展开更多

This robot consists of several independent units. Each unit is composed of modular components including ultrasonic sensor, camera, communication, computation, and mobility parts, and is capable of simple self-reconfiguring to enhance its mobility by expanding itself. Several units can not only link into a train or other shapes autonomously via camera and sensors to be a united whole robot for obstacle clearing, but also disjoin to be separate units under control after missions. To achieve small overall size, compact mechanical structures are adopted in modular components design, and a miniature advanced RISC machines (ARM) based embedded controller is developed for minimal power consumption and efficient global control. A novel self-contained in situ sediment acoustic measurement system based on hydraulic driving penetration is proposed to solve the problem of large disturbances to sediments of the in situ equipments already in exist...A novel self-contained in situ sediment acoustic measurement system based on hydraulic driving penetration is proposed to solve the problem of large disturbances to sediments of the in situ equipments already in existence. By using a hydraulic driving device, the system drives four acoustic probes into sediments at an even speed, and this decreases disturbances to sediments introduced by the penetration of acoustic probes. By means of the special design of the central control unit, the system can work full-automatically and the data are stored self-containedly, and this avoids the requirement of real-time remote controlling from the ship. Its operating water depth, measuring depth and measuring frequency is 500m, 1.0m and 30kHz respectively. A set of in situ sound speeds and attenuation coefficients of sediments are obtained at 40 stations using the system. The results confirm that the data obtained by the in situ sediment acoustic system are accurate and credible.展开更多
For Lightweight body,sound radiation and sound insulation performance have negative effects on interior noise by the deterioration of local stiffness and modality.So the research on the active control of vibration and...For Lightweight body,sound radiation and sound insulation performance have negative effects on interior noise by the deterioration of local stiffness and modality.So the research on the active control of vibration and noise for car body panels is useful for engineering.Analysis and active control of booming noise in car is researched by using a new active damping vibration reduction technology named smart constrained layer damping(SCLD).According to the vibration characters of body roof,an optimal placement of actuators is distributed.Based on dSPACE hardware in loop environment,an adaptive active control system is designed.Selecting vibration signals of engine mounting point as the reference input of adaptive controller,an active control experiment of booming noise for mini-car is carried out.Experimental results show that,when the engine speed is at 3700 RPM and4250RPM,the interior booming noise decreases 4.2dB(A),and 3.5dB(A) separately.It proposes new methods and techniques for intelligent control of car body NVH in the future.展开更多

The output response of the linear wide-band array is equal to the convolution of impulse response functions with wide-band pulse exeiting signal. Sound field distributions and impulse responses of three kinds of transducers are compared. The results can be used to optimize the parameters of the linear phased array transducers used in uhrasonie imaging in nondestructive testing (NDT).

文摘A novel mobile self-reconfigurable robot is presented. This robot consists of several independent units. Each unit is composed of modular components including ultrasonic sensor, camera, communication, computation, and mobility parts, and is capable of simple self-reconfiguring to enhance its mobility by expanding itself. Several units can not only link into a train or other shapes autonomously via camera and sensors to be a united whole robot for obstacle clearing, but also disjoin to be separate units under control after missions. To achieve small overall size, compact mechanical structures are adopted in modular components design, and a miniature advanced RISC machines (ARM) based embedded controller is developed for minimal power consumption and efficient global control. The docking experiment between two units has also been implemented.
文摘A novel self-contained in situ sediment acoustic measurement system based on hydraulic driving penetration is proposed to solve the problem of large disturbances to sediments of the in situ equipments already in existence. By using a hydraulic driving device, the system drives four acoustic probes into sediments at an even speed, and this decreases disturbances to sediments introduced by the penetration of acoustic probes. By means of the special design of the central control unit, the system can work full-automatically and the data are stored self-containedly, and this avoids the requirement of real-time remote controlling from the ship. Its operating water depth, measuring depth and measuring frequency is 500m, 1.0m and 30kHz respectively. A set of in situ sound speeds and attenuation coefficients of sediments are obtained at 40 stations using the system. The results confirm that the data obtained by the in situ sediment acoustic system are accurate and credible.

文摘For Lightweight body,sound radiation and sound insulation performance have negative effects on interior noise by the deterioration of local stiffness and modality.So the research on the active control of vibration and noise for car body panels is useful for engineering.Analysis and active control of booming noise in car is researched by using a new active damping vibration reduction technology named smart constrained layer damping(SCLD).According to the vibration characters of body roof,an optimal placement of actuators is distributed.Based on dSPACE hardware in loop environment,an adaptive active control system is designed.Selecting vibration signals of engine mounting point as the reference input of adaptive controller,an active control experiment of booming noise for mini-car is carried out.Experimental results show that,when the engine speed is at 3700 RPM and4250RPM,the interior booming noise decreases 4.2dB(A),and 3.5dB(A) separately.It proposes new methods and techniques for intelligent control of car body NVH in the future.
