Matched-field inversion of sound speed profile in shallow water using a parallel genetic algorithm 被引量:9

A sound speed profile plays an important role in shallow water sound propagation.Concurrent with in-situ measurements,many inversion methods,such as matched-field inversion,have been put forward to invert the sound speed profile from acoustic signals.However,the time cost of matched-field inversion may be very high in replica field calculations.We studied the feasibility and robustness of an acoustic tomography scheme with matched-field processing in shallow water,and described the sound speed profile by empirical orthogonal functions.We analyzed the acoustic signals from a vertical line array in ASIAEX2001 in the East China Sea to invert sound speed profiles with estimated empirical orthogonal functions and a parallel genetic algorithm to speed up the inversion.The results show that the inverted sound speed profiles are in good agreement with conductivity-temperature-depth measurements.Moreover,a posteriori probability analysis is carried out to verify the inversion results. 展开更多

In order to overcome the obstacle of singular integral in boundary element method (BEM), we presented an efficient sound field reconstruction technique based on the wave superposition method (WSM). Its principle includes three steps: first, the sound pressure field of an arbitrary shaped radiator is measured with a microphone array; then, the exterior sound field of the radiator is computed backward and forward using the WSM; at last, the final results are visualized in terms of sound pressure contours or animations. With these visualized contours or animations, noise sources can be easily located and quantified; also noise transmission path can be found out. By numerical simulation and experimental results, we proved that the technique are suitable and accurate for sound field reconstruction. In addition, we presented a sound field reconstruction systern prototype on the basis of this technique. It makes a foundation for the application of wave superposition in the sound field reconstruction in industry situations. 展开更多

Fine particles are difficult to fluidize due to strong interparticle attraction.An attempt has been made to study the bed expansion of silica gel(dp=25μm) powder in presence of an acoustic field.A 135 mm diameter fluidized bed activated by an acoustic field with sound intensity up to 145 dB and frequency from 90 Hz to 170 Hz was studied.The effects of sound pressure level,sound frequency and particle loading on the bed expansion were investigated.Experimental results showed that,bed expansion was good in presence of acoustic field of particular frequency.In addition,it was observed that in presence of acoustic field the bed collapses slowly. 展开更多

Through our reflections today we would like to identify some of the effects of the globalizing forces that have perturbed hip-hop culture and discuss if and how these have influenced its original purposes and messages, or the nature itself of the movement. We would also like to offer our perspective on the consequences of the entrance of hip-hop music in the international marketplace since this passage represents an important moment of its history and development and one of the strongest factors of change within this culture. We will take our examples from the Lusophone, and more specifically the Portuguese, hip bop movement, having a look at what it was in the past----or at its beginning--and at what it is today, in order to understand if we can still consider it a manifestation of peripheral voices. 展开更多

AIM:To explore the more accurate lung sounds auscultation technology in high battlefield noise environment.METHODS: In this study, we restrain high background noise using a new method-adaptive noise canceling based on independent component analysis (ANC-ICA), the method, by incorporating both second-order and higher-order statistics can remove noise components of the primary input signal based on statistical independence.RESULTS:The algorithm retained the local feature of lung sounds while eliminating high background noise, and performed more effectively than the conventional LMS algorithm.CONCLUSION:This method can cancel high battlefield noise of lung sounds effectively thus can help diagnose lung disease more accurately. 展开更多

The research on structural vibration and sound radiation of underwater ring-ribbed cylindrical shell, which is coated with a kind of deadening and decoupling materials, becomes a focus in recent years. This paper analyzes the problem on two aspects: model experiment and numerical calculation. The model experiment is carried out including three cases firstly, in which the structural vibration response and radiating acoustic field are measured respectively, and the results gained in these three cases are analyzed to discuss the effect of reducing structural vibration and radiating noise of the deadening and decoupling materials. The coupling FEM/BEM and the SEA methods are both used in numerical calculation, i.e. the arithmetic of the coupling FEM/BEM method is adopted to calculate the low frequency characteristics and the SEA method is adopted to calculate the medium-high frequencies characteristics of the model. By comparing experimental results with numerical calculation results, it is proved that the algorithm adopted in this paper is reasonable. 展开更多

A rapid approach to hypersonic aeroheating predictions in the stagnation region and downstream is developed in the present paper.The engineering method is used to calculate inviscid hypersonic flowfields to reduce time cost,and a combination of the mass flow balance technique and the axisymmetric analog is proposed to account for the entropy swallowing effects.A three-dimensional linear method is derived to fit the vehicle surface flowfields.Then a new axisymmetric analog method based on linear flowfields and linear surface equations is developed,with the complexity and computational cost reduced dramatically.In the stagnation region,an implicit surface fitting is introduced to approximate the primary curvatures and a robust aeroheating prediction method is constructed.The proposed approach is verified on a variety of configurations including spherically blunted cone,double ellipsoid and aerospace vehicle.Numerical results indicate the followings:1)The approach predicts aeroheating in about one second and the results agree well with CFD simulations and wind-tunnel measurements;2)with the help of entropy correction,the precision is further improved in the streamline diverging regions on the vehicle surface,while little improvement is found after entropy correction in the regions where the streamlines do not diverge. 展开更多
