多处理器实时系统中,调度和资源共享是核心问题,与之相对应的调度算法和共享资源访问协议将直接影响系统的性能,这就要求调度算法和资源访问协议在保证实时性的基础上尽量发挥硬件平台的计算能力。然而,现有的调度算法多假设任务相互独... 多处理器实时系统中,调度和资源共享是核心问题,与之相对应的调度算法和共享资源访问协议将直接影响系统的性能,这就要求调度算法和资源访问协议在保证实时性的基础上尽量发挥硬件平台的计算能力。然而,现有的调度算法多假设任务相互独立,没有考虑任务之间的资源共享,共享资源访问协议也多侧重于规则和最坏响应时间分析。对此,将P-RM算法和MrsP协议相结合,得出了多处理器实时系统的整体可调度性条件。文中根据MrsP协议的特性,提出了一种减小阻塞时间的任务划分算法,通过改进任务利用率的计算方式解决了关键区重复计算的问题,与之前的任务划分算法相比,也解决了关键区重复计算以及任务分类后拆分再分配的问题。实验表明,该算法所需要的处理器数目减少了15%~20%。 展开更多

This paper proposes a cochlear prosthetic system with an implanted digital signal processor (DSP). This system transmits voice-band signals with a low data rate through the wireless link, free of the data-rate limitation and suitable for future development. By optimizing the speech processing algorithm and the DSP hardware design, the implanted DSP manages to execute the continuous interleaved sampling (CIS) algorithm at a clock frequency of 3MHz and a power consumption of only 1.91mW. With an analytic power-transmission efficiency of the wireless inductive link (40%), the power overhead caused by the implanted DSP is derived as 2.87roW,which is trivial when compared with the power consumption of existing cochlear prosthetic systems (tens of milliwatts). With the DSP implanted,this new system can.be easily developed into a fully implanted cochlear prosthesis. 展开更多

Data stream management system (DSMS) provides convenient solutions to the problem of processing continuous queries on data streams.Previous approaches for scheduling these queries and their operators assume that each operator runs in separate thread or all operators combine in one query plan and run in a single thread.Both approaches suffer from severe drawbacks concerning the thread overhead and the stalls due to expensive operators.To overcome these drawbacks,a novel approach called clustered operators scheduling (COS) is proposed that adaptively clusters operators of the query plan into a number of groups based on their selectivity and computing cost using S-mean clustering.Experimental evaluation is provided to demonstrate the potential benefits of COS scheduling over the other scheduling strategies.COS can provide adaptive,flexible,reliable,scalable and robust design for continuous query processor. 展开更多

The network coverage is a big problem in ocean communication, and there is no low-cost solution in the short term. Based on the knowledge of Mobile Delay Tolerant Network(MDTN), the mobility of vessels can create the chances of end-to-end communication. The mobility pattern of vessel is one of the key metrics on ocean MDTN network. Because of the high cost, few experiments have focused on research of vessel mobility pattern for the moment. In this paper, we study the traces of more than 4000 fishing and freight vessels. Firstly, to solve the data noise and sparsity problem, we design two algorithms to filter the noise and complement the missing data based on the vessel's turning feature. Secondly, after studying the traces of vessels, we observe that the vessel's traces are confined by invisible boundary. Thirdly, through defining the distance between traces, we design MR-Similarity algorithm to find the mobility pattern of vessels. Finally, we realize our algorithm on cluster and evaluate the performance and accuracy. Our results can provide the guidelines on design of data routing protocols on ocean MDTN. 展开更多

Retrieval of middle and upper atmospheric wind based on non-full circular fringe recorded by Fabry-Perot Inteferometer

Fabry-Perot Interferometer(FPI) has been used widely for wind measurements of the middle and upper atmosphere.To date, most of FPIs have been based on full-closed circular fringe, which needs 15–25 min to obtain a group of wind velocity(zonal and meridional). However, it is hard to improve the temporal resolution because full-closed circular fringe in several directions cannot be easily imaged onto the same Charge-Coupled Device(CCD) with enough airglow intensity. In this paper, a data processing method is proposed for non-full circular fringe of FPI, which can support CCD with enough area of observations in several directions simultaneously. The method is focused on the center determination of non-full fringe. It includes radial cross-section, peak coordinate determination, and center calculation. Based on the calculated center, the fringe is annular summed. Then its radius is determined subsequently using Gaussian fitting. Finally, the wind is retrieved from the fringe radius. For validation, fringes from two ground-based FPIs were used, which are deployed in Kelan(38.71°N, 111.58°E) and Xinglong(40.40°N, 117.59°E) in China. The results retrieved from non-full fringes of FPIs were compared with that from full-closed circular fringe. The averaged wind deviation between them demonstrates reasonable difference with 5.38 ms^-(1) for 892.0 nm airglow emission, 5.81 ms^-(1) for 630.0 nm emission, and 3.03 ms^-(1) for 557.7 nm emission. Besides, wind results of Xinglong FPI are compared roughly with measurements of meteor radar which is deployed in Ming Tombs of Beijing(40.3°N,116.2°E). Good agreement demonstrates that this method is robust enough for FPI wind retrieval of mesosphere and thermosphere. 展开更多
